Description

The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin, a panty liner (cage sheet), and an incontinence pad.

In a conventional absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin, it is used by attaching it to the inside of the underwear, and when the pressure is applied by the wearer's thigh from both sides, the central part is not necessarily the body excretion part. It did not deform so as to be in close contact, and a gap was formed between the excretory part and the napkin, inducing side leakage and rear leakage of excrement.

For example, Patent Document 1 discloses that a liquid is applied to the surface of a planar base by making the central part of the absorbent article easy to adhere to the excretion part of the body, thereby preventing side leakage and rear leakage. In an absorbent article provided with an absorbent element that absorbs and holds, a cushion layer that functions as an auxiliary absorbent element is provided on the base, and the absorbent element is defined with a center line extending in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article as a boundary. Each split absorbent element is composed of split absorbent elements provided separately on the left and right sides, and the split absorbent elements and the cushion layer are compressed together. An absorbent article that can be deformed in a direction away from the layer has been proposed.
JP 2004-89392 A

The absorbent article disclosed in Patent Document 1 does not necessarily have sufficient adhesion to the body shape of the divided absorbent body (divided absorbent element), and completely eliminates the fear of side leakage and rear leakage. Not a thing. In addition, the manufacturing process is complicated in processing the divided absorbent element.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that fits well to the wearer's body shape when worn, is excellent in leakage prevention, and can be manufactured by a relatively simple manufacturing process.

The present invention relates to an absorbent article comprising a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and a liquid-retaining absorbent interposed between both sheets, wherein the absorbent comprises a lower layer absorbent, The upper layer absorbent is laminated on the skin contact surface side of the lower layer absorbent, and the upper layer absorbent is disposed on the skin contact surface side and / or the non-skin contact surface side in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article. One end or a groove formed from the vicinity of the one end to the other end or the vicinity of the other end, and the upper layer absorber is divided into a plurality of regions without being divided by the groove, and the upper layer absorption When the groove is formed on the skin contact surface side of the body, the groove is formed by integrally compressing the upper layer absorbent body and the surface sheet, and the skin contact of the lower layer absorbent body The contact surface side and the non-skin contact surface side of the upper absorbent body are at least both side edges in the longitudinal direction of each absorbent article It is obtained by achieving the above object by a portion except to provide an absorbent article which is not fixedly joined.

Since the absorbent article of the present invention is particularly characterized by the form of the absorbent body, when the absorbent body is subjected to pressure by the wearer's thigh from both sides when worn, the absorbent body is the excretory part of the body. It is deformed so as to be closely attached to the body and does not create a gap between the excretory part and the absorbent article, so that it fits well to the wearer's body shape, has an excellent wearing feeling, and is effective for side leakage and rear leakage. Can be prevented. Moreover, since the absorbent article of this invention is not divided | segmented, it can manufacture easily with a simple manufacturing process compared with the conventional absorbent article provided with the division | segmentation absorber.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on a preferred embodiment thereof with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the sanitary napkin 1 according to the first embodiment includes a liquid-permeable top sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3, and a liquid retention property interposed between these two sheets. The absorber 4 is provided and is formed substantially vertically long. A pair of three-dimensional gathers 5, 5 are provided on the skin contact surface side of the napkin 1 along both longitudinal sides of the absorbent body 4. In this specification, the “skin contact surface side” is the side (surface) that is disposed on the skin side of the wearer during wearing, out of both sides (surfaces) of each member. In addition, hereinafter, the phrase “non-skin contact surface side” may be used, but this is arranged on the opposite side to the wearer's skin side when worn, on both sides (surfaces) of each member. Side (surface).

The sanitary napkin 1 has an excretion part facing part A that faces the excretion part of the wearer when worn, and a front part B and a rear part C that extend before and after the excretion part facing part A. When the sanitary napkin 1 is worn, the front part B is arranged on the front (abdomen) side of the wearer, and the rear part C is arranged on the rear (back) side of the wearer.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the top sheet 2 covers the entire area of the absorbent body 4 on the skin contact surface side. The back sheet 3 covers the entire region of the absorbent body 4 on the non-skin contact surface side, and further extends outward from both side edges of the absorbent body 4 in the width direction of the napkin (absorbent article). This extending portion forms side flaps 6 on both sides in the width direction of the napkin 1. The side flap 6 extends further outward at the position of the excretory part facing part A, and forms a pair of wing parts 61 and 61. On the non-skin contact surface side of the back sheet 3 and the pair of wing portions 61, 61, an adhesive is applied to form a fixing portion (not shown) for fixing the napkin 1 to shorts or the like. Has been.
The above-described configuration of the napkin 1 according to the first embodiment is the same as that of a conventionally known sanitary napkin.

Below, the said absorber 4 in the napkin 1 of 1st Embodiment is explained in full detail. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the absorbent body 4 includes a lower layer absorbent body 41 and an upper layer absorbent body 42 laminated on the skin contact surface side of the lower layer absorbent body 41. Both absorbers 41 and 42 have a substantially rectangular shape in plan view, and are arranged from the front part B to the rear part C of the napkin 1.

In 1st Embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the skin contact surface side of the said lower layer absorber 41 and the non-skin contact surface side of the said upper layer absorber 42 are each napkin (absorbent article) longitudinally. Bonding and fixing portions 45 and 45 are formed at both side edges of the direction by heat sealing or hot melt adhesive. However, the skin contact surface side of the lower layer absorbent body 41 and the non-skin contact surface side of the upper layer absorbent body 42 are not joined and fixed at the portion excluding the both side edges. The joint fixing portion 45 may be formed continuously over the entire length of the absorbers 41 and 42 or may be formed discontinuously.

Moreover, in 1st Embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the said lower layer absorber 41 has the constriction 41a in each napkin longitudinal direction both sides in the excretion part opposing part A. As shown in FIG. On the other hand, the upper layer absorbent body 42 does not have a constriction on both sides in the napkin longitudinal direction. Thus, the napkin in the excretion part opposing part A is provided by providing the constriction 41a only on the both side parts in the napkin longitudinal direction of the lower layer absorbent body 41 in the excretion part opposing part A among the both sides in the napkin longitudinal direction of the absorber 4. The overall rigidity is alleviated and the fit to the excretory part is further enhanced.

The upper layer absorbent body 42 has one or more grooves formed on the skin contact surface side and / or the non-skin contact surface side from the vicinity of one end in the napkin longitudinal direction to the vicinity of the other end. As will be described later, the groove is formed by pressing and compressing the upper absorbent body using a pressing means such as embossing.

In the first embodiment, as the groove, on the skin contact surface side, a central groove 43 that vertically cuts the napkin width direction central portion on the skin contact surface side of the upper layer absorbent body 42 along the napkin longitudinal direction, It has a pair of arc-shaped side grooves 44 and 44 formed symmetrically with the central groove 43 in between. The upper-layer absorber 42 is divided into a plurality of regions without being divided by these three grooves. That is, the upper layer absorbent body 42 includes, in the excretory part facing part A, two central part absorption areas 421 and 421 that are adjacent to each other through the central groove 43, and side parts that are adjacent to the respective central absorption areas 421 through the side grooves 44. It is divided into a total of four areas including absorption areas 422 and 422.

Further, in the first embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the central groove 43 and the side grooves 44, 44 are integrally compressed by the upper absorbent body 42 and the top sheet 2. Has been formed.

As shown in FIG. 3, the central groove 43 and the side grooves 44, 44 are formed so that both ends in the napkin longitudinal direction coincide with each other. The distance l 1 between one end of each groove in the longitudinal direction of the napkin and one end in the longitudinal direction of the napkin of the upper layer absorber 42 (imaginary line passing through the outermost point of the one end and parallel to the napkin width direction) is Preferably, it is 30 mm or less. The distance l 1 is 0 mm, that is, the groove can be formed without leaving a distance from one end of the upper absorbent body 42 in the longitudinal direction of the napkin. If the distance l 1 is too long, depending on the length of the upper absorbent body 42 in the longitudinal direction of the napkin, the range divided into a plurality of regions may be narrowed, and the effect of improving fit and leakage prevention may not be sufficiently obtained. There is.

The distance l 2 between the central groove 43 and the side groove 44 in the excretory part facing part A is preferably 10 to 20 mm. Moreover, the distance l 3 between the side groove 44 in the excretory part facing part A and the side end part in the napkin longitudinal direction of the upper layer absorbent body 42 is preferably 15 to 30 mm.

In the first embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the width w 1 of the central groove 43 is narrower than the width w 2 of the side groove 44. This is because when the napkin 1 is worn, when the pressure applied by the wearer's thigh is received from both sides, the central absorption areas 421 and 421 adjacent to each other through the central groove 43 cause the central groove 43 to In order to protrude toward the wearer's skin and to be easily folded into a mountain fold with the central groove 43 as a crease (see FIG. 6), an excellent fit, fit, and leakage resistance are obtained. Because.

The width w 1 of the central groove 43 is preferably 2 mm or less. If the width w 1 of the central groove 43 is too large, when the napkin 1 is worn, when the pressure from the thighs of the wearer is received from both sides, the central absorption areas 421 and 421 may fold as described above. However, conversely, the center groove 43 is bent so as to protrude toward the side opposite to the wearer's skin side, so-called valley fold, and the adhesiveness and leakproofness of the napkin to the excretory part There is a risk of lowering.
The width w 2 of the side groove 44 is preferably 1.5 to 5 mm. The side groove 44 functions as a leak-proof groove in the same manner as the groove formed on the absorbent body in the conventional napkin of this type, and the width w 2 is within the range. Can fully fulfill its role.

The thickness of the bottom wall of each of the central groove 43 and the side grooves 44, 44 [the shortest distance between the bottom of the groove and the side (surface) where the groove is not formed in the upper-layer absorber] should be adjusted as appropriate. However, in particular, it is preferable to make the bottom wall t (see FIG. 4) of the central groove 43 as thick as possible in order to facilitate mountain folding as shown in FIG. 6 and to prevent valley folding.

In the first embodiment, from the viewpoint of further increasing the absorption capacity of the portion close to the excretion part of the wearer, two of the centers adjacent to each other through the central groove 43 among the plurality of regions in the upper layer absorbent body 42. The basis weights of the partial absorption areas 421 and 421 are set larger than the basis weights of the other areas (the side absorption areas 422 and 422), respectively. The basis weight ratio between the central absorption region 421 and the side absorption region 422 is in the range of (basis weight of the central absorption region) :( basis weight of the side absorption region) = 4: 1 to 3: 1. Is preferred. The central absorption areas 421 and 421 and the side absorption areas 422 and 422 have the same basis weight.

The basis weight of the upper layer absorbent body 42 is preferably 300 to 500 g / m 2 . The basis weight of the lower layer absorbent body 41 is preferably 50 to 200. Further, from the viewpoint of absorbing excretion such as menstrual blood as much as possible by the upper layer absorber 42, the basis weight of the upper layer absorber 42 is preferably larger than the basis weight of the lower layer absorber 41.

A pair of the three-dimensional gathers 5 and 5 will be described. The pair of three-dimensional gathers 5 and 5 prevent movement of urine, feces, menstrual blood, and the like to prevent leakage thereof, and each has a L-shaped cross section as shown in FIG. It comprises a planar elastic stretchable part 50 and an upright part 51 integrally connected to the non-skin contact surface side of the elastic stretchable part 50. The elastic stretchable portion 50 includes a plurality of elastic members 52 arranged along the longitudinal direction of the napkin, and has elasticity in the longitudinal direction of the three-dimensional gather 5 (longitudinal direction of the napkin). Gather is formed on the skin contact surface side (upper surface). With such a configuration, excrement such as menstrual blood that has flowed laterally from the wearer's excretory part through the skin is blocked by the standing part 51 at the side part of the absorbent body 4, and the absorber 4 is absorbed quickly, and the side leakage prevention effect is further enhanced.

Below, the manufacturing method of the napkin 1 of 1st Embodiment is demonstrated, referring FIG. FIG. 5 is a schematic explanatory diagram of the manufacturing process of the absorbent layer, which is a part of the manufacturing process of the napkin 1 of the first embodiment. The absorption layer is composed of the top sheet 2 and the absorber 4 (the lower layer absorber 41 and the upper layer absorber 42).

First, the upper layer mount 10 wound in a roll shape is fed out, and the mixed product fiber 11 of the water-absorbing polymer and the fiber material is intermittently supplied on the fed upper layer mount 10 at a predetermined interval. . Next, in accordance with the conveyance of the mixed product 11, the upper layer absorbent paper 12 wound in a roll shape is fed out and overlapped on the upper mount 10 so as to cover the mixed product 11. Further, the long surface sheet 2 ′ wound in a roll shape is fed out and superposed on the upper layer absorbent paper 12 to produce a laminated sheet.

Next, an embossing device 13 is used for the laminated sheet (a laminated sheet obtained by sequentially laminating the upper layer mount 10, the mixed fiber 11, the upper layer absorbent paper 12, and the long surface sheet 2 ′). Perform embossing. The embossing device 13 includes an embossing roll 14 in which convex portions having a predetermined shape are formed on the roll surface. By pressing the laminated sheet from the long surface sheet 2 ′ side with the embossing roll 14 under a predetermined heating and pressing condition, the long surface sheet 2 ′, the upper absorbent paper 12 and the mixed fiber are mixed. The part corresponding to the convex part of each object 11 is integrally compressed to form the groove (the central groove 43 and the side grooves 44, 44). In this way, a long upper absorbent layer 15 is obtained.

The upper absorbent layer 15 is coated with a hot melt adhesive at a predetermined location on the upper mount 10 by a coating device 16 and is then flowed to the next step.

On the other hand, a long lower absorbent layer 25 is produced in parallel with the production of the upper absorbent layer 15. The lower absorbent layer 25 is manufactured in the same manner as the above-described upper absorbent layer 15 except that the long topsheet 2 'is not used and embossing is not performed. In this way, a long lower absorbent layer 25 obtained by sequentially laminating the lower mount 20, the mixed fiber 21 and the lower absorbent paper 22 is obtained.

And after aligning the long said upper layer absorption layer 15 and the said long lower layer absorption layer 25, the said adhesive agent coating surface (the said upper layer mount 10 side) of this upper layer absorption layer 15 is made inward. Then, the upper absorbent layer 15 and the lower absorbent layer 25 are bonded and fixed by passing through the roll pair 17 and applying pressure in this superposed state. In this way, a long absorbent layer 35 (a laminate of the lower layer absorbent body 41, the upper layer absorbent body 42 and the top sheet 2) is obtained.

The subsequent process is the same as the manufacturing process of the conventional sanitary napkin, and the three-dimensional gathers 5, 5 and the back sheet 3 and other napkin constituent members are arranged and fixed at predetermined locations, and one unit of the napkin The napkin 1 of 1st Embodiment is obtained by cut | disconnecting for every.

The napkin 1 according to the first embodiment obtained in this manner is the fixed portion (not shown) provided on the non-skin contact surface side of the back sheet 3 and the pair of wing portions 61, 61 in the same manner as the conventional napkin. 3) is used by being fixed to the inner surface of clothing such as shorts.

According to the napkin 1 of the first embodiment, since the absorbent body 4 having the characteristic form as described above is used, when receiving pressure from the thigh of the wearer from both sides during wearing, In the excretory part facing part A, as shown in FIG. 6, the upper layer absorbent body 42 is deformed so as to be bent along the central groove 43 and the side grooves 44, 44, and exhibits excellent fit and leakproofness. To do. In the deformation of the upper layer absorbent body 42, the deformation of the central absorption areas 421 and 421 adjacent to each other via the central groove 43 is particularly important. The central absorption areas 421 and 421 are formed in the central groove 43. Projecting toward the skin side of the wearer and bent into a mountain fold with the central groove 43 as a fold. By deforming the upper-layer absorbent body 42 in this way, the skin contact surface side of the napkin 1 is greatly raised toward the wearer's skin side, and the adhesion of the napkin to the wearer's skin is enhanced, centering on the excretion part, and good In addition to providing a comfortable wearing feeling, the gap between the skin and the napkin is reduced, so that the upper layer absorbent body 42 can reliably absorb menstrual blood and the like, and leakage can be effectively prevented. Should there be menstrual blood or the like that cannot be absorbed by the upper layer absorber 42, it can be reliably absorbed by the lower layer absorber 41.

Can be used without any particular limitation.

Below, 2nd Embodiment and 3rd Embodiment of this invention are described based on FIG.7 and FIG.8. 7 and 8 are views corresponding to FIG. 2 in the second embodiment and the third embodiment of the present invention, respectively. In addition, the description of 1st Embodiment mentioned above is applied to the location which abbreviate | omitted description in each following embodiment.

In the second embodiment shown in FIG. 7, an elastic member (mountain fold) having elasticity in the napkin width direction is provided at the napkin width direction central portion on the non-skin contact surface side of the upper layer absorbent body 42 in the excretory part facing part A. The forming elastic member 70 is configured in the same manner as in the first embodiment described above, except that the forming elastic member 70 is bonded and fixed by a heat seal, a hot melt adhesive, or the like in an expanded state. In the second embodiment, the elastic member 70 has a vertically long rectangular shape and has substantially the same total length as the total length of the upper absorbent body 42 in the napkin longitudinal direction, and is located in the excretory part facing part A and in the front and back thereof. It is arranged over the front part B and the rear part C. The elastic member 70 suffices to be disposed at least in the excretory part facing part A, and can be disposed so as to extend from the excretion part facing part A to either the front part B or the rear part C. In the second embodiment, the elastic member 70 imparts a contraction force that contracts toward the inner side in the napkin width direction to the central portion of the upper absorbent body 42 on the non-skin contact surface side. Mountain folding deformation of the central absorption areas 421 and 421 is likely to occur, and as a result, excellent fit and leakage resistance can be exhibited. As the mountain fold forming elastic member 70, for example, a band-shaped resin made of polyurethane, natural rubber, polybutadiene, rubber or the like can be used.

In the third embodiment shown in FIG. 8, except that the plate-like member 80 is bonded and fixed to the napkin width direction central portion on the skin contact surface side of the lower layer absorbent body 41 in the excretory part facing part A. The configuration is the same as in the first embodiment described above. In the third embodiment, the plate-shaped member 80 has a vertically long rectangular shape and has substantially the same total length as the total length of the upper absorbent body 42 in the napkin longitudinal direction. The front part B and the rear part C are arranged. The plate-like member 80 only needs to be disposed at least in the excretion part facing part A, and can be disposed so as to extend from the excretion part facing part A to either the front part B or the rear part C. In the third embodiment, when the plate member 80 receives pressure from the thigh of the wearer from both sides, the above-described central absorption areas 421 and 421 are likely to be fold-folded. As the plate-like member 80, for example, an absorbent polymer sheet, a dry pulp sheet, or the like can be used. In particular, a multilayer plate-like member formed by laminating these sheets has a certain thickness, and the multilayer plate-like member itself has an absorbing power such as menstrual blood, so that it is preferably used as the plate-like member 80. The thickness of the plate member 80 is preferably 3 to 5 mm.

FIG. 9 is a view corresponding to FIG. 4 of another embodiment of the upper-layer absorber according to the present invention. The upper layer absorbent body 42A shown in FIG. 9 is the same as that described above except that the central groove 43 is formed on the side opposite to the side grooves 44, 44, that is, on the non-skin contact surface side of the upper layer absorbent body 42A. It is comprised similarly to the upper layer absorber 42 in 1st Embodiment. In the present invention, the point is that the upper-layer absorbent body may be divided into a plurality of regions without being divided by the grooves as described above, and the grooves contact the skin as in the first embodiment described above. It may be formed only on the surface side, and conversely, it may be formed only on the non-skin contact surface side, or the skin contact surface side and the non-skin side like the upper layer absorbent body 42A. It may be formed on both sides of the skin contact surface side. In this case, the central groove and the side groove may be formed on either side of the upper-layer absorber.
