前記肘掛け基部の最上位の前記開口の上方に、前記各開口より鉛直方向寸法の大きな下降停止用開口を形成し、前記被拘束部材の最上位の前記凹部の上方に、前記下降停止用開口を除く他の各開口が前記各凹部に対向しない状態のときに前記下降停止用開口に対向し前記ストッパの先端部が容易に抜け出しうるように嵌合する下降停止用凹部と、この下降停止用凹部に前記ストッパの先端部が嵌合したときにこのストッパに当接されるように突出方向にばねにより付勢され前記肘掛け基部を相対的に下降したときに前記肘掛け基部内にばねに抗して収納されるストッパ阻止部材とを形成したことを特徴とする椅子型便器の肘掛け昇降機構。
