従来、自動車に既設の方向指示装置と連動して警報を報知する警告装置としては、屋根等に設置される補助点灯ランプや、音声によって右折および左折を報知する警告装置が知られている。

ところが、従来の警告装置のほとんどは報知部と車両が有線的に接続されており、その設置作業の負担が大きかった。また、送信部と受信部とを有する警告装置においても、送信部と車両との接続方法は有線的であり、同様な問題があった。

この発明は、上記のような従来技術に存在する問題点に着目してなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、既存の車両に容易に設置できる無線警告装置を提供することにある。

上記の目的を達成するため本発明の無線警告装置は、自動車に既設の方向指示装置のランプと代替可能であり、ランプ通電時に無線信号を発信することができるランプ一体型発信部と、発信部から発信された信号を受信する受信部および受信部からの出力に応じて任意の報知動作が可能な報知部から成る無線警告装置である。

従って、本発明の無線警告装置は、従来のように有線的な接続をすることなく、既存の車両の自動車に既設の方向指示装置のランプと交換するだけで既存の車両に短時間で容易に且つ確実に設置できる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、この発明を具体化した実施形態について詳細に説明する。
本発明で使用するランプ一体型発信部は、自動車に既設の方向指示装置のランプと代替可能な形状となっている。つまり既設のランプと同一の端子を持ち、既設のランプと同様に係止固定が可能である。
このランプ一体型発信部は、既存のランプと同程度以上のランプ性能を有すると同時に、発信機能を有している。ランプ一体型発信部は、ランプ用の端子を通じ車両から電力が供給されるため、充分な発信能力を持つよう設定できる。

ランプ一体型発信部は、ランプに通電されている間、給電され発信機能が働くように設定される。ランプ一体型発信部が発信する電磁波は、受信部が受信できる方式であれば、いずれの波長および方式でも良く、例えば、短波、長波、UHF、VHF、マイクロ波、赤外線、可視光線、音波、超音波などから適宜選択できる。

一方、受信部は発信部が発信する電磁波を検知し、報知部を駆動させるための信号を出力する。
報知部は、受信部からの信号に応じて報知動作を行う。報知動作の例としては、ランプ、LED、蛍光管等を発光させて光による報知を行うもの、スピーカーその他の振動装置を振動させて音による報知を行うもの、その他発色や変形等の外観上の変化により第三者の注意を喚起できるものであれば、いずれの方法でも組み合わせて使用することが可能である。

受信部、報知部ともバッテリーから電力が供給されている。受信部、報知部、バッテリーは、それぞれ別々とすることもできるが、一体化するのが設置上簡便である。また、バッテリーを補助するため太陽電池等の給電装置を接続することもできる。

・発信部にアンテナを設置すること
・ランプから発生する熱の影響を避けるため、発信部を金具部から突出させて配置すること、または熱を遮蔽する措置を行うこと
・発信する電磁波をあらかじめ変調またはデジタル−アナログ変換して発信すること
・受信部にマイコンチップおよび時計機能を組み込むことにより、受信信号および時間に応じて、あらかじめプログラムされた手順で報知部を駆動させるための受信信号を変化させて出力すること
・報知部を金具や磁石等を用いて、ドア、ボンネット、バンパー等に設置すること

以下に本発明の無線警告装置の一例を示し、具体的に説明を行う。
図1には本発明のランプ一体型発信部をランプケースに装着した状態が図示されている。ランプの電球部分と金具部分の間には発信部が設けられている。ランプ一体型発信部は、図2に示すように自動車に既設の方向指示装置のランプと代替するだけで短時間で確実に設置できる。
一方、図3には受信部、バッテリーおよび報知部としてのLED発光体をシート状の柔軟な基材に組み込んだものが示されている。本実施例では、さらにLEDの表出した面と反対の面に両面テープを設置することにより、ドアミラー等に張り付けて設置することができる。

【発明の効果】
本発明の無線警告装置は、自動車に既設の方向指示装置のランプと代替可能であり、ランプ通電時に無線信号を発信することができるランプ一体型発信部と、発信部から発信された信号を受信する受信部および受信部からの出力に応じて任意の報知動作が可能な報知部から成る無線警告装置であるため、既存の車両に短時間で容易に且つ確実に設置できる。
