Abstract
Description
【0001】
(Web
【0011】
(Web

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a service provider program, a user program, and a method used for a Web service provider or a user.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for technology for flexibly linking systems on the Internet. Web services have attracted attention as a technology that meets such demands.
[0003]
The Web service is a technology for transmitting and receiving a message in an Extensible Markup Language (XML) format on the Internet and linking the systems. The Web service is more convenient than a Web system (Web application) that does not cooperate with another system because the service providing system and the using system can directly cooperate with each other by an XML message.
[0004]
In the Web service, an XML document is transmitted and received on an Internet standard protocol such as HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol). Furthermore, since the Web service uses the Internet, unlike the EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) conventionally used for data exchange between companies, there is an advantage that the construction cost is low.
[0005]
Various standardizations have been advanced for such Web services in order to link each system quickly and flexibly (for example, see Non-Patent Document 1). The main standards include XML document format and business process standards, messaging protocol standards for transmitting and receiving XML documents, and registry standards for registering / searching services.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, the conventional Web system has a problem that the cooperation between the Web system and another external application cannot be performed. This problem of the Web system has been solved by the Web service.
[0017]
However, according to the present inventor's consideration, the Web service has a problem that a developer of the external application must prepare a Web service access mechanism for using the Web service from the external application.
[0018]
The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and has as its object to provide a service providing program, a user program, and a method that can reduce the time and effort required for an application developer to prepare a Web service access mechanism.
[0019]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A first invention is a service providing program used in a server device that provides a Web service. The service providing program is used when a computer of the server device receives a use request including a user ID issued in advance. Means for returning the address information of the access program to the Web service corresponding to the request to the transmission source of the use request; upon receiving the connection request including the user ID and the address information, the access program corresponding to the address information is Means for returning to the transmission source of the connection request, upon receiving a notification that the processing result of the Web service processing is determined based on the processing of the returned access program, stores the set of the processing result and the user ID in the memory Upon receiving a result inquiry including the user ID, the memory based on the user ID Locate a resulting processing result means to reply to the sender of the query results to the service provider program for functioning as a.
[0020]
Further, a second invention is a service use side program used for a client device that uses a Web service provided from a server device, wherein the computer of the client device includes a user ID issued in advance. Means for transmitting a use request to the server device, receiving address information from the server device, means for transmitting a connection request including the address information and the user ID to the server device, This is a service use side program for storing a program in a memory and functioning as a means for activating an access program in the memory.
[0021]
Therefore, in the first and second inventions, the side using the Web service downloads and starts the access program prepared by the side providing the Web service, and uses the Web service via the access program.
[0022]
As described above, since the Web service providing side provides the access program, it is possible to reduce the trouble of the application developer preparing the Web service access mechanism.
[0023]
In the first and second inventions, the name is expressed as “... Program”. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and may be expressed by another name such as “system”, “apparatus”, or “computer-readable storage medium”. Needless to say, this is acceptable.
[0024]
