電気的刺激を利用した美顔器として、従来から、一対の電極部を備えた手持ち式のものがある。このものにおいては、施療者が目の周囲部分に電極部を当てて電流を流すことで皮下組織内の神経に電気的刺激を付与し、目の周りの筋肉を鍛えて張りを持たせることができる。しかしながら、上記のような手持ち式の美顔器においては、電極部を適切な位置に当てることが困難であったり、また、手が疲れてしまって長時間の施療が困難であるといった問題を有していた。

これに対して、使用者の頬や顎と当たる部分に電極部を備えたマスク型の美顔器(特許文献1参照)も提案されているが、これは顔全体の表情筋を鍛えて顔痩せ効果等を得ることが目的のものであって、目の周りに関しては特に美容効果がないものであった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は上記の点に鑑みてなされたものであり、施療者が手持ちの状態で保持し続けなくとも、正確な位置に電気的刺激を付与して目の周りの筋肉を鍛えることのできる、使い勝手に優れた美顔器を提供することを課題とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を添付図面に示す実施の形態に基づいて説明する。図1、図2には本発明の実施の形態における一例の美顔器の全体を示している。本例の美顔器は、使用者の顔面40に着脱自在に装着される保持部1と、この保持部1に電気コード8を介して接続されるコントローラ7とで主体を構成している。
