本発明は火災報知器等のような検知器に係り、特には、ベース本体及びカバー本体の連結構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
火災の発生や人の存在等を検知するための検知器には電池を駆動電源としたものがあり、その第1の従来例としては、図6の断面図で取り付け状態を示すような構成とされた検知器51がある(例えば、特許文献1参照)。この検知器51は例えば火災報知器であり、建物の天井面等である取付面52にネジ止めで固定される取着ベース53と、この取着ベース53に着脱自在で連結されるカバー54とを備えている。

そして、検知器51が備える取着ベース53には、検知手段である電子回路部品55や電池56が収納されており、カバー54は連結されるのに伴って取着ベース53の開口を閉塞している。なお、この際における電子回路部品55は、例えば、火災を検知して検知信号を出力するものであり、電子回路部品55の駆動電源である電池56は消耗したのに伴って新しいものと交換される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記した検知器51では、電子回路部品55や電池56が取着ベース53に収納されている。従って、取着ベース53を取付面52に固定する場合は、重量的に困難な作業が必要となる。一方、電池56を取り替える場合には、特に取付面52が天井面であると、高所での交換作業となり、電池56の落下等が発生することも想定されるため、安全面で問題のある困難な作業が要求される。

この種の不都合を回避するため、図7の斜視図で分解状態を示すような構成とされた検知器61が、第2の従来例として提案されている。すなわち、この検知器61は、建物の天井面等である取付面(図示省略)に固定されるベース板62と、このベース板62と着脱自在に連結されるカバー本体63とを備えている。なお、図中の符号64は取付ネジであり、これらの取付ネジ64によりベース板62は取付面に固定される。

このとき、カバー本体63は検知手段としての電子回路部品(図示省略)を内蔵したものであり、図8の斜視図で示すように、ベース板62と対面するカバー本体63の背面には、電池(図示省略)を収納するための電池収納凹部65が形成されている。そして、ベース板62にはカバー係止片66が形成される一方、カバー本体63にはベース係止孔67が形成されている。

この検知器61におけるベース板62はただ単に取付面52に固定されたものであるに過ぎず、重量の重い電子回路部品や電池は、ベース板62と着脱自在で連結されるカバー本体63に収納されている。従って、検知器61の構成であれば、カバー本体63が取り外されたベース板62を取付面52に固定するのに際し、重量的に困難な作業を必要とすることはなくなる。

また、電池を取り替える場合には、取付面52に固定されたベース板62からカバー本体63を取り外した後、このカバー本体63の電池収納凹部65に対する電池の入れ替えを作業者の手元位置で行うことが可能となる。そこで、検知器61の取付面52が天井面であったとしても、高所での交換作業は不要となり、電池が高所から落下することは起こり得ない。

しかしながら、この検知器61では、電子回路部品や電池を収納したためにカバー本体63の重量が重くなっているにも拘わらず、カバー係止片66とベース係止孔67との係合のみによりカバー本体63をベース板62で支持することが行われる。すなわち、検知器61にあっては、ベース板62の周方向に沿う所定位置に形成されたカバー係止片66のみでもってカバー本体63の全体が支持されている。

このような構造では、ベース板62によりカバー本体63を保持し続けることが強度的に困難であるため、十分な強度を有する金属素材によってベース板62全体を作製し、あるいは、カバー係止片66だけでも金属素材によって作製することが考えられている。しかし、ベース板62全体を金属製としたのでは、カバー本体63の電池収納凹部65に収納された電池の保護に支障をきたし、また、カバー係止片66のみを金属製とした場合にもカバー本体63との連携が取り難くなってしまうのが実状である。

本発明はこのような不都合に鑑みて創案されたものであって、ベース係止片と係合しあうカバー係止片の強度を高めることが可能であり、ベース本体とカバー本体との連結構造を強化することができる検知器の提供を目的としている。

請求項1記載の発明に係る検知器は、取付面に固定されるベース本体と、回動操作により前記ベース本体と着脱自在に連結されるカバー本体とからなるものであって、前記ベース本体は、電線を収納し、かつ、外周縁沿いに周縁壁が立設されたものであり、前記カバー本体は、検知手段を収納し、かつ、前記周縁壁が入り込む凹溝が形成されたものであることを特徴とする。

図1は本実施の形態に係る検知器の全体構造を示す分解斜視図、図2は検知器が備えているベース本体の表面側構造を示す説明図であり、図3はベース本体及びカバー本体の要部構造を示す断面図である。また、図4は検知器が備えているカバー本体の背面側構造を示す斜視図であり、図5はカバー係止片及びベース係止孔の係合時状態を示す説明図である。なお、図1〜図5中の符号1は検知器、2はベース本体、3はカバー本体をそれぞれ示している。

本実施の形態に係る検知器1は例えば火災報知器であり、図1で示すように、建物の天井面や壁面等のような取付面(図示省略)に取り付けて固定されるベース本体2と、回動操作によりベース本体2と着脱自在に連結されるカバー本体3とを備えている。ここでのベース本体2は絶縁性の合成樹脂等からなる略円形状の有底筒形容器であり、その底面部の外周縁沿いには所定厚みの周縁壁4が所定高さで立設されている。

このベース本体2は、底面部の貫通孔5を挿通する取付ネジ(図示省略)により底面部の背面が取付面に当接した状態で固定されるものであり、その底面部の表面には、図2でも示すように、警報ブザー等である外部機器との連絡用である信号線等の電線6を収納する配線スペース7が設けられている。そして、ベース本体2の周方向に沿う所定位置には電線6の引き込み孔8が形成されており、外部から引き込み孔8を通って配線スペース7上へと引き込まれた電線6の接続側端部は固定用のネジ端子9と連結されている。

このとき、引き込み孔8の底面は、図3(a)で示すように、電線6の立ち上がりを可能とする曲面形状を有している。そして、引き込み孔8の底面が曲面形状である場合には、図3(b)で示すように、引き込み孔8を通って引き込んだ電線6を配線スペース7上へと立ち上げやすくなる。また、ベース本体2の底面部における周縁壁4に沿った位置には、いわゆる鰐口構造を有する接続端子10が設けられており、これらの接続端子10はネジ端子9と各別に導通している。

さらに、周縁壁4の引き込み孔8と対応する位置には、電線6の引き込み孔ともなる切離可能部11が除去可能な状態として形成されており、検知器1が建物の壁面に固定される場合等にあっては、この切離可能部11を除去して電線6を引き込むことが行われる。なお、検知器1が建物の壁面に固定される場合を考慮し、本実施の形態では、一対ずつの引き込み孔8及び切離可能部11がベース本体2の底面部における周方向で略等間隔となる位置、具体的には、対称となる位置ごとに形成されている。

さらにまた、この周縁壁4の周方向に沿う所定位置、つまり、対称となって引き込み孔8と対応する位置それぞれにはカバー係止片12が形成されており、これらカバー係止片12の各々は、互いに相反する向きとなって底面部の内方へと突出している。すなわち、これらのカバー係止片12は周縁壁4の先端から延出されており、所定厚みの周縁壁4と一体化されているため、従来の形態におけるカバー係止片66よりも強度が増したものとなっている。

一方、検知器1が備えるカバー本体3は、絶縁性の合成樹脂等からなる略円形状の中空容器であり、ベース本体2よりも若干大径とされている。そして、このカバー本体3には検知手段となる各種の電子回路部品(図示省略)が内蔵されており、図4で示すように、ベース本体2と対面するカバー本体3の背面には、交換可能な電源供給用の電池14を収納する電池収納凹部15、つまり、平面視略矩形状で所定深さとされた電池収納凹部15が形成されている。

また、カバー本体3には、ベース本体2の外周縁沿いに立設された所定厚みの周縁壁4が入り込む凹溝16が形成されており、この凹溝16の内側位置には、ベース本体2の周縁壁4に形成されたカバー係止片12と係合するベース係止片17が形成されている。このとき、カバー本体3の周方向に沿う所定位置、つまり、互いに対称となる位置それぞれにはカバー係止片12の進入凹部18が形成されており、これら進入凹部18の一側部位置には、カバー本体3の回動操作に伴って各進入凹部18に進入したカバー係止片12が係合するベース係止片17が形成されている。

さらに、カバー本体3の背面には、ベース本体2の接続端子11で各別に挟持されるのに伴って導通する接続接点19が設けられており、これらの接続接点19は検知手段である電子回路部品と導通している。なお、図中の符号20は引き紐、21は警報音停止ボタンであり、この警報音停止ボタン21は動作確認時や警報停止時に使用される。

【発明の効果】
請求項1に記載の発明に係る検知器のベース本体はその外周縁沿いに周縁壁が立設されたものであり、回動操作によりベース本体と着脱自在に連結されるカバー本体には周縁壁が入り込む凹溝が形成されている。そのため、ベース本体とカバー本体とが確実に位置合わせされており、カバー本体からベース本体に加わる力が分散されるため、ベース本体とカバー本体との連結構造を強化することができるという効果が得られる。
