本発明は、幼稚園、学校、介護施設等のような場所において、父兄や家族に対する総合的な情報サービスを提供することができる、情報発信システムに関する。

【従来の技術】
幼稚園では、園児の送迎や、様々なイベントの開催により、園児の父兄に対するサービスを充実させて、少子化に伴って減少する園児の獲得に努力をしている。このサービスの一環として、幼稚園の状態を父兄に伝えるために、既存のネットワークを利用した、遠隔監視技術を採用することが考えられている。例えば、カメラサーバを、専用線を介してウェブサーバに接続すると共に、インターネットを介して、託児所内を監視自在とするようにしたシステムが紹介されている(特許文献1参照)。このほかに、一般的な遠隔監視技術として、被監視場所のユニットと遠隔地のユニットとを中継局で結び、被監視場所の状態を遠隔地から監視するシステムが開発されている。このシステムでは、被監視場所を撮像し、撮像された画像データを含むウェブページを作成してウェブサーバにアップロードし、遠隔地のユニットが、パケット通信網等を介してウェブページにアクセスするシステムが紹介されている(特許文献2参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、上記のような従来の技術には、次のような解決すべき課題があった。
幼稚園内を撮影した画像の提供のみならず、幼稚園の管理者は、園児の父兄に対して様々な情報の提供を希望している。これは、例えば、ホームページやメールシステムにより実現できる。しかしながら、こうしたシステムを併存させると、園児の父兄側からみると、非常に操作性が悪くなる。また、幼稚園側からみると、システムが複雑になり、管理コストが増大するという問題があった。幼稚園以外の、学校、介護施設等についても、同様の問題があった。
本発明は以上の点に着目してなされたものである。

本発明は次の構成により上記の課題を解決する。

ルータ11等のネットワーク接続装置は、インターネット1とローカルエリアネットワーク12との間を接続する機能を持つ装置である。一般のインターネットサービスプロバイダは、IPアドレス毎にネットワーク接続サービスを提供する。例えば、数台のIPカメラ31〜34とサーバ26や端末装置27にそれぞれIPアドレスを付与して情報を発信するシステムを構築すると、ネットワーク接続料が高額になる。一方、ルータ11等のネットワーク接続装置を介してインターネット1に接続されたローカルエリアネットワーク12に、IPカメラ31〜34やサーバ26等の機器を接続し、それぞれの機器にサブアドレスを付与することで、1つのIPアドレス契約により、各機器をインターネットに接続することが可能になる。なお、インターネット側から各機器を区別してアクセスすることができる機能を持つ端末装置とこうした機能を持たない端末装置とがある。そこで、代表サーバ26に、IPカメラ31〜34の撮影した画像を、所定のタイミングで取得し、ネットワークを通じて閲覧可能に保持する機能をもたせた。これにより、インターネットを通じて、IPカメラに直接アクセスできる端末装置は、直接撮影画像を取得し、代表サーバ26にしかアクセスできないものは、IPカメラの撮影した画像を代表サーバ26を通じて取得できる。なお、毎秒15枚程度の画像をIPカメラから送信し、動画像として提供しているが、これらの画像はいずれも比較的解像度が高く静止画として利用できる。従って、例えば、動画像の再生機能が不充分な携帯電話などでは、一部の静止画のみをダウンロードして、希望する画像を選択表示することができる。また、過去の記録について閲覧を希望する場合には、代表サーバ26に接続をして、閲覧をすることができる。

上記のようなシステムによれば、例えば、幼稚園の管理者が、端末装置27を使用して、行事予定や出欠確認などをメールで配信することができる。これにより連絡業務がスムーズになり、例えば、父兄が携帯電話15などを所持している場合には、スピーディーな対応が可能になる。同時に、父兄とのメールコミュニケーションにより充分な意思疎通を図ることが可能になる。さらに、ホームページ21を用いて様々な情報を父兄に対して発信し、サービス内容のピーアールができる。同時に、IPカメラにより撮影された動画や静止画の閲覧を可能にするので、父兄が自分の子供の様子をいつでも確認することができるという効果がある。なお、不正アクセスを防止するため、ホームページ閲覧時には、所定のユーザー確認のための認証処理を実行することが好ましい。
