Abstract
Description
【0001】

【0051】
まず、ステップS110(以下S110と略す、他のステップも同様)に移行して、初期化を行う。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a print control device and a program capable of printing a plurality of records on a single print medium.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Some word processors and the like have, for example, a plurality of pages (records) on one sheet of paper and a function of printing a plurality of pages simultaneously (print data group) on each page. The multiple page simultaneous printing function is widely used because it has effects such as cost reduction by reducing the number of sheets, space saving of printed matter, and easy understanding of the entire print content.
[0003]
When printing a plurality of copies of the print content using such a multi-page print function, when one print content is completely printed, the next print content is printed from the first page of a new sheet. In such a case, a blank page may be formed on the last sheet on which one print content is printed, and the effect of reducing the number of sheets of the printed matter cannot be sufficiently exerted. Therefore, when printing a plurality of print contents continuously using the simultaneous printing function of a plurality of pages, it is determined whether or not a blank page exists on the sheet when printing of one print content is completed. A technique has been proposed in which, if it is determined that another print content is printed from the margin page (for example, see Patent Document 1). In such a case, since other print contents can be printed without generating a blank page, the paper use efficiency is very excellent.

[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, on the other hand, since the boundaries of each set do not always coincide with the boundaries of the paper, when it is necessary to distribute the printed matter one copy at a time, the paper must be cut, and the printed matter at that time must be May have different shapes. In order to make the printed matter in each part the same shape, it is necessary to cut the printed matter to the minimum unit, and the work efficiency is deteriorated.
[0006]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to print a plurality of pages on a single print medium, and to suppress generation of blank pages when printing a plurality of sets of record data groups including a plurality of record data while suppressing the generation of blank pages. It is an object of the present invention to provide a print control apparatus and a program which do not reduce the distribution efficiency of each unit.

[0012]
According to the second and eleventh aspects, when the number n of surplus records is a number equal to or more than の of the number k of records or the first number which is zero, the boundary of each part is in the middle of one print medium. Since the record data in the record data group of a plurality of copies is allocated to the print medium so as not to exist in the print medium, distribution of each copy is easy. Further, since the number of surplus records is larger than 1/2 of the number k of records, the number of blank records generated on the print medium is relatively small. On the other hand, if the number n of surplus records is a second number that is smaller than の of the number k of records (excluding zero), the boundary of each part should not exist in the middle of one print medium. If each record data in the record data group of a plurality of copies is assigned to a print medium so that the boundaries of the respective portions coincide with the boundaries of the paper, the number of blank records generated on the paper increases. Therefore, records other than the record of the number of surplus records are printed for each copy, and the records of the number of surplus records are printed collectively for a plurality of copies, so that the number of blank records generated on the print medium is also relatively small. . In addition, distribution of each copy only requires cutting the print medium on which records of the number of surplus records are printed, and this cutting operation can be performed relatively easily. As described above, regardless of whether the number n of the surplus records is the first number or the second number, it is possible to facilitate the distribution of each copy of the printed matter while suppressing the generation of the blank record. .

[0014]
According to the third and twelfth aspects, when the number n of surplus records is the first number, the records related to the record data group are arranged and printed in the order of the records in each copy. Printed materials can be distributed without rearrangement.

The program according to claim 15, when the record is printed on the print medium along a direction orthogonal to the feed direction, can print the print medium in each area divided along the direction orthogonal to the feed direction. An in-area printable record number storage unit for storing the number h (h: natural number) of in-area printable records that is the number of records; a print copy number storage unit for storing the number of print copies of a record data group; When the surplus record number n is determined to be the second number by the surplus determination means, the number h of printable records in the area stored in the number of printable records in area storage means and the number n of the surplus records are stored. Printable copy number calculating means for calculating the number of printable copies of the number of records corresponding to the number of surplus records in one area of a print medium based on the number of print copies, Number of copies of the record data groups stored in the 憶 means further causes the computer to function as an area in the print permission determination means for determining whether more or not than the calculated printable copy number by the printable copy number calculation means. When the in-area printability determination means determines that the number of print copies of the record data group is larger, the allocating means determines whether the number of printable copies calculated by the number of printable copies calculation means is equal to the number of surplus records. Each record data in the record data group is assigned to a print medium such that records are printed in one of the areas and the remaining copies of the remaining copies are printed from the head position of the other areas.
[0021]
According to the sixth and fifteenth aspects, since the records corresponding to the number of surplus records of each unit are not printed over a plurality of areas, when distributing a print medium on which the records corresponding to the number of surplus records are printed, It is only necessary to cut the print medium on which the records for the number of records are printed so that the print medium is divided into regions, and the distribution of the printed matter is further facilitated.

Area record number storing means for storing the number of contained records per copy of a record data group (q: natural number), and a record data group storage means for storing a plurality of copy record data groups. When sequentially printed for each area, the boundary of each part is located in the middle of the area based on the record number p stored in the area record number storage means and the content record number q stored in the content record number storage means. It is made to function as allocating means for allocating each record data in the plurality of record data groups to a print medium so as not to exist.

[0055]
In S320, if the row counter Y does not exceed the number of rows per page (S320: YES), the process proceeds to S350, where 0 is substituted for the record counter X and reset. Here, the record counter X stores the number of printed records. Thereafter, the flow shifts to S360, where if the record counter X is not 0, it is determined whether a remainder record relating to one copy can be allocated subsequently. The determination as to whether or not the assignment is possible is made by the in-area printability determination unit 119. Specifically, based on the value of the record counter X, the number of remaining pages in the line is calculated, and it is determined whether the number of remaining pages exceeds the number of pages related to the surplus record. If it is not possible to assign a remainder record for each copy (S360: NO), the flow shifts to S370, counts up the row counter Y, and then shifts to S320 again (see FIG. 5B). If a remainder record can be allocated for each copy (S360: YES), the flow shifts to S380, and the remainder records for one copy are sequentially allocated to lines and printing is performed (see FIG. 5A). Thereafter, the flow shifts to S390, where the record counter X is counted up by the number of records printed, and the surplus plural pages simultaneous printing copy counter W is counted up. Thereafter, the flow shifts to S400, where it is determined whether or not printing of all copies has been completed based on the print copy counter W. When printing of all copies has been completed (S400: NO), the flowchart of FIG. 7 ends, and the process returns to the flowchart of FIG.
