Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sound reproducing method for generating sound such as music and voice by a speaker connected to an amplifier, and more particularly to a sound reproducing method for realizing a high sense of realism.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a system for obtaining sound reproduced by a speaker, a stereo system that drives a speaker by directing the sound wave emitting surfaces of a pair of speakers divided into left and right channels to a listener side has been generally used. In recent years, a surround system in which a center channel and a rear channel are provided in addition to the left and right channels and speakers are distributed to the front left and right, the center, and the rear left and right has become widespread.
[0003]
In the case of the former system, sound waves are radiated from a fixed point called a speaker, so that when a listener seeks a sense of localization or a sense of movement of a sound image with respect to sound, this is an optimal reproduction method. In addition, the latter system is adopted as an audio reproduction system when watching a video such as a movie, but it is an optimum reproduction method for enjoying a sense of localization and a sense of movement of front and rear sound images linked with the video. .
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The prior art described above reproduces an accurate sense of localization and a sense of movement of a sound image, so that it seems that a high sense of reality is realized. However, in the real world, the elements of a sound image are not limited to this, and there are a myriad of sound sources that emit sound, and the sound is emitted from four turns of the listener. Therefore, when a sense of presence regarding such an element is required, the sense of presence obtained by the above-described prior art reproduction method is too artificial, resulting in a dissatisfaction that the sense of reality is poor.
[0005]
Also, appreciating music is not all about listening to the music while focusing on the music and listening to each instrument individually. In some cases, music is perceived as one element. The sound required in such a case is “wrapping sound”, and the emphasis on the sense of localization and movement of the sound image hindered the appreciation.
[0006]
On the other hand, for example, in stores such as restaurants and shops where personnel are dispersed in various places in the room, the positions of the listeners are various, and the sound reproduction method of the prior art is just good for some people. However, for others, there was a problem that the sound balance was unnatural or the volume was inappropriate.
[0007]
By the way, conventionally, there has been a reproducing method using an omnidirectional speaker system as a sound reproducing means which does not give a sense of localization or movement of a sound image. However, even with this means, the listener is still listening to the sound radiated directly from the speaker, and the problem that the listening condition changes depending on the distance of the listener from the speaker has not been solved.
[0008]
Also, as a different means, there is a speaker wall that arranges innumerable speakers on the wall, but it is not possible to secure such a speaker installation area in general homes and shops, regardless of the specialized theater or listening room, In addition, the costs involved are also unrealistic.
[0009]
Further, as a different means, there is also a flat speaker system for vibrating a large plate instead of cone paper, but there is a problem of taking up a large occupied area itself, and since there is a difficulty in reproducing a high frequency range structurally, Eventually, a tweeter had to be separately provided, which caused a problem that the sound image was localized.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the related art, and provides a system that realizes a sound full of a sense of reality that surrounds a listener without being conscious of a specific sound source by simple means. The purpose is to do.
[0011]
In other words, the sound reproduction method of the present invention drives the sound wave emitting surface of the speaker at intervals with respect to the indoor wall, ceiling, or floor, or a reflector made of any combination of the above, thereby driving the speaker. The sound wave radiated from is reflected and diffused into the room by the reflector.
[0012]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. A feature of the present invention is that the existing walls, ceiling, and floor in the room are used as reflectors, and sound waves from a speaker are made to collide with the reflectors, thereby obtaining sound that is reflected and diffused in a planar manner. Therefore, it is desirable that the walls, ceiling, and floor used as reflectors reflect the sound waves to some extent. For example, the walls and ceiling may be made of wood or painted walls rather than cloth, and the floor may be carpeted. Flooring is more desirable.
[0013]
Further, it is desirable that the sound wave emitting surface of the speaker be spaced from the reflector and be directed obliquely with respect to the reflective surface. 1 to 7 show some examples of the arrangement of the speakers.
(1) In FIG. 1, two speakers S are arranged back to back near the center of the room, and the sound wave emitting surfaces are directed toward the corners of the front and rear walls 1, 1, respectively. In the figure, the arrow lines indicate the flow of sound waves in this case (the same applies hereinafter).
(2) In FIG. 2, three sets of back-to-back speakers are arranged near the center of the room in the vicinity of the center of the room, and one back-to-back pair is arranged in the middle of the speakers S. Is directed to the vicinity of the center of the front and rear walls 1 and 1 and the left and right walls 2 and 2 respectively.
(3) FIG. 3 shows an example of the arrangement of speakers in the vertical direction. Here, speakers S are arranged back to back near the center of the ceiling of the room. Is directed obliquely downward. The symbol L in the figure is a listener.
(4) FIG. 4 also shows an example of the arrangement of the speakers in the vertical direction. Here, a pair of speakers S is arranged at a position slightly lower than near the center of the ceiling of the room. It is directed obliquely upward with respect to the ceiling 3.
(5) In FIG. 5, a pair of speakers S are arranged near the wall of the ceiling 3 and near the wall of the floor 4, respectively, and the sound wave emitting surface of the speaker on the ceiling side is directed obliquely downward with respect to the wall 1. The sound radiation surface of the speaker on the floor side is directed obliquely upward with respect to the wall 1.
(6) In FIG. 6, a pair of speakers S are arranged near the wall 1 in front of the left and right walls 2 and 2, and the sound wave emitting surfaces of these speakers are directed obliquely to the wall 1. I have.
(7) In FIG. 7, the speakers S are arranged near the wall 1 in front of the left and right walls 2 and 2 and near the wall 1 in front of the floor 4. 1, the sound emitting surface of the speaker on the floor 4 is directed obliquely upward with respect to the wall 1.
[0014]
FIG. 8 is a view showing a different embodiment of the present invention. Here, sound absorbing surfaces 1A, 2A, and 4A are arranged on a part of a wall 1, a part of a wall 2, and a part of a floor 4, respectively. The sound is attenuated only in the vicinity. This embodiment is useful, for example, when it is desired to secure a weak sound space near a telephone in a store.
[0015]
The speaker S used in the above-described sound reproducing method has a known configuration in which a speaker unit is housed in an enclosure. In this case, a clear reflected sound can be obtained by using a speaker unit having high directivity. On the other hand, in the present invention, as described above, it is essential to reproduce the sound without feeling the localization of the sound image and to wrap the sound out of nowhere without being aware of the sound source. Therefore, it is desirable that the speaker S be hidden from view, if possible, and that the installation space be minimized. A sound reproducing apparatus satisfying such conditions will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0016]
FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating a sound reproducing device in which the speaker S is accommodated in the furniture 10. Although a sofa is illustrated here as the furniture, the furniture is not limited to this, and may be, for example, a cabinet, a wagon, or other furniture. One or a plurality of speakers S are housed such that the sound wave emitting surface is exposed on a side surface or a back surface other than the front surface of the furniture, and the sound wave emitting surface is directed obliquely. In this embodiment, the speaker S is configured to be able to swing back, forth, right and left with respect to the furniture.
[0017]
FIG. 10 is a diagram showing a sound reproducing device in which the speaker S is housed in the indoor device product 20. Here, a flower pot is illustrated as an indoor device, but the indoor device is not limited to this, and may be, for example, a stand ashtray, an umbrella stand, an ornament, or other furniture. One or a plurality of speakers S are housed with the sound wave emitting surface exposed on the side surface and the back surface other than the front surface of the indoor device, and the sound wave emitting surface is directed obliquely.
[0018]
FIG. 11 is a diagram illustrating a sound reproducing device in which the speaker S is accommodated in the lighting fixture 30. The lighting fixture 30 is hung from the ceiling via the hanging tool 31, and one or a plurality of speakers S are accommodated on the upper surface of the lighting fixture with the sound wave emitting surface directed obliquely upward.
[0019]
FIG. 12 is a diagram showing a sound reproducing device in which the speaker S is accommodated in the table 40. One or a plurality of the speakers S are accommodated on the lower surface of the table top 41 with the sound wave emitting surface directed obliquely downward.
[0020]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention having the above configuration has the following specific effects.
(1) Since the listener recognizes the area of the reflecting surface as a sound source of sound, it is possible to obtain a sense of realism that is close to the real world and wraps around.
(2) Since the sound wave from the speaker is reflected and diffused, the speaker itself can be small and the number of speakers can be minimized. In addition, since the reflector uses the existing wall, ceiling, and floor, the conventional speaker wall is used. The cost is much lower than that of the above, and the installation area of the device is small, so that it can be easily introduced into ordinary homes and shops.
(3) When the walls, ceiling, and floor of the entire room are used as reflectors, a surround effect full of a sense of reality can be obtained, and the same listening condition can be obtained anywhere in the room.
