本発明は、複写装置に関し、詳細には、管理番号等の付加画像を原稿画像とともに見やすい形態で記録出力する複写装置に関する。

従来から複写装置においては、複写する原稿を管理するために、管理番号等の付加画像を原稿の画像に付加して、当該原稿の画像とともに記録出力する複写装置が出現している。

このような複写装置としては、例えば、特許文献１に記載されているように、管理番号等の付加画像を、用紙のサイズに合わせて用紙の中央に、画像全面に対して等間隔で印字している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、このような従来の複写装置にあっては、画像全面に対して等間隔で付加画像を印字しているため、原稿の画像が写真画像や淡い画像の場合には、管理番号等の付加画像を印字すると、付加画像が強調され、原稿の画像が見づらくなるおそれがあった。

また、従来技術では、管理番号と固定スタンプを付加画像として同一画像に印字することはできるが、固定スタンプの位置だけしか指定することができず、管理機能が不十分であるとともに、重なって見づらくなり、さらに、管理番号を、前面に印字すると、原稿の画像が見づらくなるという問題があった。

そこで、請求項１記載の発明は、原稿の画像を読取手段で読み取って、当該原稿の画像を操作手段で指定された出力部数分だけ記録手段で用紙に記録出力する際に、指定された出力部数に応じた管理番号の画像を付加画像として、操作手段で指定された用紙の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙のサイズに合わせて設定調整して原稿の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を記録手段で用紙に記録出力することにより、用紙の端面部分や原稿の画像のない部分を適宜指定して管理番号を記録出力させ、原稿の画像を見やすくするとともに、管理番号を見やすくして、画像の記録出力された用紙を適切に管理することのできる複写装置を提供することを目的としている。

請求項２記載の発明は、管理番号に任意の固定スタンプを組み合わせるとともに、当該固定スタンプと当該管理番号とを相対的に任意の位置に配置した画像を付加画像として、操作手段で指定された用紙の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙のサイズに合わせて設定調整して原稿の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を記録手段で用紙に記録出力することにより、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプが重ならないように配置して記録出力して、原稿の画像を見やすくするとともに、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプを見やすくして、画像の記録出力された用紙が管理されている用紙であることを明確にし、画像の記録出力された用紙をより一層適切に管理することのできる複写装置を提供することを目的としている。

請求項３記載の発明は、管理番号に日時情報を組み合わせるとともに、当該日時情報と当該管理番号とを相対的に任意の位置に配置した画像を付加画像として、操作手段で指定された用紙の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙のサイズに合わせて設定調整して原稿の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を記録手段で用紙に記録出力することにより、付加画像としての管理番号と日時情報が重ならないように配置して記録出力して、原稿の画像を見やすくするとともに、付加画像としての管理番号と日時情報を見やすくして、画像の記録出力された用紙が管理されている用紙であることを明確にし、画像の記録出力された用紙が紛失して発見された場合でも、いつ記録出力された用紙であるかを明確にして、画像の記録出力された用紙をより一層適切に管理することのできる複写装置を提供することを目的としている。

請求項４記載の発明は、管理番号に固定スタンプまたは／及び日時情報を組み合わせた画像を付加画像として原稿の画像に合成する際に、当該付加画像の全ての画像の画像サイズを個別にまたは一括して操作手段で設定可能とし、当該設定された画像サイズに当該付加画像を変更するとともに当該付加画像相互の重なりを防止しつつ組み合わせることにより、用紙のサイズに合わせて、付加画像としての管理番号と当該固定スタンプまたは／及び当該日時情報の画像サイズを個々に設定することなく、バランスよく記録出力し、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプまたは／及び日時情報の画像を効率的に記録出力し、また、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプまたは／及び日時情報の画像を個々に設定した画像サイズで記録出力し、任意の画像を強調して、管理効率を向上させることのできる複写装置を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項１記載の発明の複写装置は、原稿の画像を読取手段で読み取って、当該原稿の画像を操作手段で指定された出力部数分だけ記録手段で用紙に記録出力する複写装置において、前記指定された出力部数に応じた管理番号の画像を付加画像として、前記操作手段で指定された前記用紙の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙のサイズに合わせて設定調整して前記原稿の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を前記記録手段で前記用紙に記録出力することにより、上記目的を達成している。

上記構成によれば、原稿の画像を読取手段で読み取って、当該原稿の画像を操作手段で指定された出力部数分だけ記録手段で用紙に記録出力する際に、指定された出力部数に応じた管理番号の画像を付加画像として、操作手段で指定された用紙の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙のサイズに合わせて設定調整して原稿の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を記録手段で用紙に記録出力するので、用紙の端面部分や原稿の画像のない部分を適宜指定して管理番号を記録出力させることができ、原稿の画像を見やすくすることができるとともに、管理番号を見やすくして、画像の記録出力された用紙を適切に管理することができる。

この場合、例えば、請求項２に記載するように、前記複写装置は、前記管理番号に任意の固定スタンプを組み合わせるとともに、当該固定スタンプと当該管理番号とを相対的に任意の位置に配置した画像を前記付加画像として、前記操作手段で指定された前記用紙の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙のサイズに合わせて設定調整して前記原稿の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を前記記録手段で前記用紙に記録出力するものであってもよい。

上記構成によれば、管理番号に任意の固定スタンプを組み合わせるとともに、当該固定スタンプと当該管理番号とを相対的に任意の位置に配置した画像を付加画像として、操作手段で指定された用紙の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙のサイズに合わせて設定調整して原稿の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を記録手段で用紙に記録出力するので、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプが重ならないように配置して記録出力して、原稿の画像を見やすくすることができるとともに、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプを見やすくして、画像の記録出力された用紙が管理されている用紙であることを明確にすることができ、画像の記録出力された用紙をより一層適切に管理することができる。

また、例えば、請求項３に記載するように、前記複写装置は、前記管理番号に日時情報を組み合わせるとともに、当該日時情報と当該管理番号とを相対的に任意の位置に配置した画像を前記付加画像として、前記操作手段で指定された前記用紙の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙のサイズに合わせて設定調整して前記原稿の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を前記記録手段で前記用紙に記録出力するものであってもよい。

上記構成によれば、管理番号に日時情報を組み合わせるとともに、当該日時情報と当該管理番号とを相対的に任意の位置に配置した画像を付加画像として、操作手段で指定された用紙の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙のサイズに合わせて設定調整して原稿の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を記録手段で用紙に記録出力するので、付加画像としての管理番号と日時情報が重ならないように配置して記録出力して、原稿の画像を見やすくすることができるとともに、付加画像としての管理番号と日時情報を見やすくして、画像の記録出力された用紙が管理されている用紙であることを明確にすることができ、画像の記録出力された用紙が紛失して発見された場合でも、いつ記録出力された用紙であるかを明確にして、画像の記録出力された用紙をより一層適切に管理することができる。

さらに、例えば、請求項４に記載するように、前記複写装置は、前記管理番号に前記固定スタンプまたは／及び前記日時情報を組み合わせた画像を前記付加画像として前記原稿の画像に合成する際に、当該付加画像の全ての画像サイズを個別にまたは一括して前記操作手段で設定可能とし、当該設定された画像サイズに当該付加画像を変更するとともに当該付加画像相互の重なりを防止しつつ組み合わせるものであってもよい。

上記構成によれば、管理番号に固定スタンプまたは／及び日時情報を組み合わせた画像を付加画像として原稿の画像に合成する際に、当該付加画像の全ての画像の画像サイズを個別にまたは一括して操作手段で設定可能とし、当該設定された画像サイズに当該付加画像を変更するとともに当該付加画像相互の重なりを防止しつつ組み合わせるので、用紙のサイズに合わせて、付加画像としての管理番号と当該固定スタンプまたは／及び当該日時情報の画像サイズを個々に設定することなく、バランスよく記録出力することができ、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプまたは／及び日時情報の画像を効率的に記録出力することができ、また、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプまたは／及び日時情報の画像を個々に設定した画像サイズで記録出力することができ、任意の画像を強調して、管理効率を向上させることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の好適な実施の形態を添付図面に基づいて詳細に説明する。なお、以下に述べる実施の形態は、本発明の好適な実施の形態であるから、技術的に好ましい種々の限定が付されているが、本発明の範囲は、以下の説明において特に本発明を限定する旨の記載がない限り、これらの態様に限られるものではない。

図１〜図３は、本発明の画像形成装置の一実施の形態を示す図であり、図１は、本発明の画像形成装置の一実施の形態を適用した複写装置１の要部ブロック構成図である。

図１において、複写装置１は、操作表示部２、読取部３、記録印字部４、ページメモリ５、ＣＰＵ（Ｃｅｎｔｒａｌ Ｐｒｏｃｅｓｓｉｎｇ Ｕｎｉｔ ）６、合成器７、時計回路８、ＲＯＭ（Ｒｅａｄ Ｏｎｌｙ Ｍｅｍｏｒｙ）９、ＲＡＭ（Ｒａｎｄｏｍ Ａｃｃｅｓｓ Ｍｅｍｏｒｙ）１０、ハードディスク（ＨＤＤ）１１及びＮＶＲＡＭ（Ｎｏｎｖｏｌａｔｉｌｅ Ｒａｎｄｏｍ Ａｃｃｅｓｓ Ｍｅｍｏｒｙ）１２等を備えており、上記主要各部は、バス１３に接続されている。

操作表示部（操作手段）２は、複写装置１の状態等を表示する表示部や複写装置１の設定等を行う操作ボタン等が設けられている。

読取部（読取手段）３は、搬送モータ２１を備えており、搬送モータ２１は、ＣＰＵ６の制御下で動作して、原稿２２を搬送する。読取部３は、搬送モータ２１により原稿読取位置に搬送されてきた原稿２２の画像を主走査及び副走査して、原稿２２の画像を所定の解像度で読み取り、読み取った原稿の画像データを出力する。

記録印字部（記録手段）４は、搬送モータ２３を備えており、搬送モータ２３は、ＣＰＵ６の制御下で動作して、用紙２４を搬送する。記録印字部４は、搬送モータ２３により搬送される用紙２４に所定の記録方式、例えば、電子写真方式、インク噴射方式等で画像を記録出力する。

ページメモリ５は、記録印字部４で記録出力する画像データをページ単位で蓄積する。

ＲＯＭ９は、複写装置１の基本処理プログラムと後述する付加画像合成処理プログラム等の各種プログラム及びこれらの各種プログラムを実行するのに必要な各種データ、特に、付加画像合成処理で使用する管理番号、固定スタンプ情報、日時情報等の付加データ（付加画像）を格納している。

ＲＡＭ１０は、ＣＰＵ６のワークメモリとして利用されるとともに、後述する付加画像合成処理で、付加データ（付加画像）を指定されたフォントサイズに拡大する際に当該付加データを展開するのに使用される。

次に、本実施の形態の作用を説明する。本実施の形態の複写装置１は、読取部３で読み取った原稿２２の画像に付加データ（付加画像）を合成して、記録印字部４で用紙２４に記録出力する。この場合、複写装置１のオペレータは、操作表示部２で、原稿２２の画像に付加する付加データとして、管理番号、固定スタンプ情報、日時情報等を適宜指定するとともに、当該付加データの用紙２４への記録位置及び大きさを指定操作し、複写装置１は、この指定された情報をＲＡＭ１０等に格納する。

まず、付加データとして管理番号を原稿２２の画像データに合成して記録出力する場合について、図２及び図３に基づいて説明する。

複写装置１は、読取部３に原稿２２がセットされ、操作表示部２で複写開始の指示操作が行われると、ＣＰＵ６が、図２に示すように、読取部３で読み取った原稿２２の１ページ分の画像のページメモリ５への展開が完了すると（ステップＳ１０１）、その画像のページが付加データの印字対象ページであるかチェックし（ステップＳ１０２）、印字対象ページであると、ＲＯＭ９から付加データである管理番号の印字設定情報を呼び出して、操作表示部２で指定された希望のフォントサイズを計算する（ステップＳ１０３）。すなわち、管理番号は、現在の原稿２２の部数に応じた番号フォントが用いられ、例えば、図３に示すように、「１２３」が用いられ、ＣＰＵ６は、この番号フォント（管理番号フォント）を、ＲＯＭ９から読み出してＲＡＭ１０に展開し、操作表示部２で指定された希望のフォントサイズに拡大する（ステップＳ１０４）。

次に、ＣＰＵ６は、操作表示部２で指定された出力印字位置情報を、例えば、ＲＡＭ１０から呼び出し、出力画像サイズに合わせて、ＸＹ方向にアドレスを計算する（ステップＳ１０５）。この出力印字位置情報は、図３の番号スタンプ描画例に示すように、上下左右の希望位置に対して、微調整値Ｘ、Ｙが操作表示部２から入力され、ＣＰＵ６が、この入力された微調整値Ｘ、ＹをＲＡＭ１０等に記憶して、この微調整値Ｘ、ＹをＲＡＭ１０から読み出して、位置調整する。

ＣＰＵ６は、管理番号のフォント画像とアドレスを合成器７のレジスタに設定し（ステップＳ１０６）、ページメモリ５の原稿２２の画像データと合成する（ステップＳ１０７）。

次に、ＣＰＵ６は、管理番号が指定された個数分画像データに合成したかチェックし（ステップＳ１０８）、管理番号を複数個合成する場合に、指定された個数分だけ管理番号を合成していないときには、ステップＳ１０５に戻って、印字間隔Ｘ、Ｙを設定して、全体の画像サイズから繰り返し回数とアドレスを毎回計算して、ページメモリ５の所定位置に展開する出力印字位置の設定処理から上記同様に処理する（ステップＳ１０５〜Ｓ１０８）。

ステップＳ１０８で、指定個数分の管理番号の合成が完了すると、ＣＰＵ６は、ページ印刷の実行を行って、ページメモリ５の管理番号を原稿２２の画像データに合成した合成画像を記録印字部４に転送して、記録印字部４で用紙２４に当該合成画像を記録出力する（ステップＳ１０９）。

ＣＰＵ６は、１ページ分の記録出力を完了すると、次ページの原稿画像データがあるかチェックし（ステップＳ１１０）、次ページがあるときには、ステップＳ１０１に戻って、上記同様に処理する（ステップＳ１０１〜Ｓ１１０）。

そして、ステップＳ１０２で、当該ページが付加データの印刷対象ページでないときには、原稿２２の画像データへの付加データの付加処理を行うことなく、当該ページの画像データをページメモリ５から記録印字部４に転送して、記録印字部４で当該ページの画像の記録出力を行い（ステップＳ１０９）、次ページがあるかチェックする（ステップＳ１１０）。

ステップＳ１１０で、次ページがないときには、ＣＰＵ６は、複写処理を終了する。

このように、本実施の形態の複写装置１は、原稿２２の画像を読取部３で読み取って、当該原稿２２の画像を操作表示部２で指定された出力部数分だけ記録印字部４で用紙２４に記録出力する際に、指定された出力部数に応じた管理番号の画像を付加画像として、操作表示部２で指定された用紙２４の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙２４のサイズに合わせて設定調整して原稿２２の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を記録印字部４で用紙２４に記録出力している。

したがって、用紙２４の端面部分や原稿２２の画像のない部分を適宜指定して管理番号を記録出力させることができ、原稿２２の画像を見やすくすることができるとともに、管理番号を見やすくして、画像の記録出力された用紙２４を適切に管理することができる。

また、複写装置１では、付加データ（付加画像）として管理番号と固定スタンプを指定することができる。

そして、ＣＰＵ６は、付加データ（付加画像）として、管理番号と固定スタンプが指定されると、上記図２のステップＳ１０３の処理で、管理番号フォントとともに、固定スタンプフォントをＲＯＭ９から読み出して、固定スタンプが管理番号と重ならないように、ＲＡＭ１０に展開する。このとき、ＣＰＵ６は、固定スタンプの展開位置を、管理番号の上下左右のいずれの位置にでも展開できるようにし、例えば、固定スタンプが「複製厳禁」で上位置設定の場合、図３に示すように、固定スタンプである「複製厳禁」を管理番号である「１２３」と上下位置を合わせてＲＡＭ１０に展開する。なお、下位置設定のときには、管理番号と固定スタンプとの位置関係が、図３の場合とは逆になる。

以降は、上記と同様に、出力画像サイズに合わせて、ＸＹ方向にアドレスを計算し、フォント画像とアドレスを合成器７のレジスタに設定し、ページメモリ５の画像データに合成する（ステップＳ１０５〜Ｓ１０７）。

そして、管理番号と固定スタンプを複数個付加する場合には、ステップＳ１０５に戻って上記同様に処理し（ステップＳ１０５〜Ｓ１０８）、指定個数分の管理番号と固定スタンプの合成が完了すると、ＣＰＵ６は、ページ印刷の実行を行って、ページメモリ５の管理番号と固定スタンプを原稿２２の画像データに合成した合成画像を記録印字部４に転送して、記録印字部４で用紙２４に当該合成画像を記録出力する（ステップＳ１０９）。

ステップＳ１０９で、次ページがあるときには、ＣＰＵ６は、ステップＳ１０１に戻って、上記同様に処理し、次ページがないときには、複写処理を終了する。

また、複写装置１は、上記処理で、印字間隔Ｘ、Ｙを複数指定すると、指定した印字間隔Ｘ、Ｙの組み合わせで、管理番号と固定スタンプを複数個印字することがで、ユーザの希望に合わせて沢山印字して、「複製厳禁」等の固定スタンプで、管理された用紙２４であることを強調したりすることを自由に設定することができる。

このように、本実施の形態の複写装置１は、管理番号に任意の固定スタンプを組み合わせるとともに、当該固定スタンプと当該管理番号とを相対的に任意の位置に配置した画像を付加画像として、操作表示部２で指定された用紙２４の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙２４のサイズに合わせて設定調整して原稿２２の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を記録印字部４で用紙２４に記録出力している。

したがって、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプが重ならないように配置して記録出力して、原稿２２の画像を見やすくすることができるとともに、付加画像としての管理番号と固定スタンプを見やすくして、画像の記録出力された用紙２４が管理されている用紙であることを明確にすることができ、画像の記録出力された用紙２４をより一層適切に管理することができる。

さらに、本実施の形態の複写装置１では、付加データ（付加画像）として管理番号と日付等の日時情報を指定することができる。

そして、ＣＰＵ６は、付加データ（付加画像）として、管理番号と日時情報が指定されると、上記図２のステップＳ１０３の処理で、管理番号フォントをＲＯＭ９から読み出してＲＡＭ１０に展開するとともに、日時情報、例えば、図３の例では、年月日情報としての「０２．０８．１０」を時計回路８から読み出して、当該日時情報の文字フォントをＲＯＭ９から読み出し、日時情報が管理番号と重ならないように、ＲＡＭ１０に展開する。このとき、ＣＰＵ６は、日時情報の展開位置を、管理番号の上下左右のいずれの位置にでも展開できるようにし、例えば、日時情報が年月日情報であって「０２．０８．１０」で上位置設定の場合、図３に示すように、日時情報である「０２．０８．１０」を管理番号である「１２３」と上下位置を合わせてＲＡＭ１０に展開する。なお、下位置設定のときには、管理番号と固定スタンプとの位置関係が、図３の場合とは逆になる。

以降は、上記と同様に、出力画像サイズに合わせて、ＸＹ方向にアドレスを計算し、フォント画像とアドレスを合成器７のレジスタに設定し、ページメモリ５の画像データに合成する（ステップＳ１０５〜Ｓ１０７）。

そして、管理番号と日付情報を複数個付加する場合には、ステップＳ１０５に戻って上記同様に処理し（ステップＳ１０５〜Ｓ１０８）、指定個数分の管理番号と日付情報の合成が完了すると、ＣＰＵ６は、ページ印刷実行を行って、ページメモリ５の管理番号と日付情報を原稿２２の画像データに合成した合成画像を記録印字部４に転送して、記録印字部４で用紙２４に当該合成画像を記録出力する（ステップＳ１０９）。

ステップＳ１０９で、次ページがあるときには、ＣＰＵ６は、ステップＳ１０１に戻って、上記同様に処理し、次ページがないときには、複写処理を終了する。

このように、本実施の形態の複写装置１は、管理番号に日時情報を組み合わせるとともに、当該日時情報と当該管理番号とを相対的に任意の位置に配置した画像を付加画像として、操作表示部２で指定された用紙２４の１つまたは複数の任意の位置に当該用紙２４のサイズに合わせて設定調整して原稿２２の画像に合成し、当該合成した画像を記録印字部４で用紙２４に記録出力している。

したがって、付加画像としての管理番号と日時情報が重ならないように配置して記録出力して、原稿２２の画像を見やすくすることができるとともに、付加画像としての管理番号と日時情報を見やすくして、画像の記録出力された用紙２４が管理されている用紙であることを明確にすることができ、画像の記録出力された用紙２４が紛失して発見された場合でも、いつ記録出力された用紙２４であるかを明確にして、画像の記録出力された用紙２４をより一層適切に管理することができる。

なお、ユーザが管理モードで管理番号を選択した場合、日付情報も強制的に印字するように設定することもでき、この場合、ＮＶＲＡＭ１２に日付情報と管理番号を対として原稿の画像データに付加する旨を記憶しておき、必ず日付情報を管理番号とともに印字する。

また、管理番号と管理番号以外の情報、例えば、固定スタンプまたは／及び日時情報を組み合わせて原稿２２の画像データに付加する場合、付加データである管理番号とその他の付加データに対して、別々にフォントサイズを設定することもできるが、１種類の付加データのフォントサイズを選択すると、そのフォントサイズに合わせて他の付加データを拡大または縮小して、フォントサイズを統一するようにしてもよい。
