Abstract
Description
【0001】
従来から、医療関係分野においては、X線などを利用した種々の診断用画像取得装置が用いられており、X線撮影装置や、CR(コンピューテッド・ラジオグラフィー)装置、CT(コンピューテッド・トモグラフィー)装置、MRI(磁気共鳴イメージング)装置などが実用に供されるに至っている。
【0003】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a printer density quality control method and system, and more particularly to a technique for performing printer density quality control by simply calibrating a densitometer built in a printer.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in the medical field, various diagnostic image acquisition apparatuses using X-rays and the like have been used. X-ray imaging apparatuses, CR (computing radiography) apparatuses, CT (computing). -Tomography) devices, MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) devices, etc. have come into practical use.
[0003]
Medical image information acquired by these apparatuses is reproduced as a hard copy by a printer on a recording material and used for medical diagnosis by an expert.
A medical diagnosis based on such an image is usually performed by using a monochrome image and looking at a fine structure based on a difference in image density. Therefore, medical diagnostic images are required to have very high sharpness.
[0004]
Therefore, it is necessary to perform printer quality control (QC) so that a constant quality can be maintained at all times, particularly with respect to the density of an image output from the printer.
Conventionally, quality control of printer density has been performed by measuring the density of an image output by a printer with an external densitometer or by measuring the density of an output image with a densitometer built in the printer.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, as in the prior art, the daily density QC by measuring the density of the output image with a densitometer outside the printer has a problem that the load on the operator is heavy.
In addition, when the density QC is performed with a densitometer built in the printer, the load on the operator as described above is reduced. However, since the deviation of the density value of the built-in densitometer due to a change with time cannot be recognized by the apparatus, When the density value of the densitometer is shifted, there is a problem that an accurate density QC cannot be obtained.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional problems. By calibrating the concentration meter built in the printer on the basis of the measurement value of the external concentration meter at the printer installation destination, the daily concentration QC operation is simplified. It is an object of the present invention to provide a printer density quality control method and system that can perform density QC according to a unified standard even when a plurality of printers are installed.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, a first aspect of the present invention is a printer density quality control method, wherein a density measurement test pattern is output from a printer, and the density value is measured by a densitometer calibrated according to national standards. Measure the density of the test pattern for density measurement with an external densitometer calibrated using the measured reference density piece and the built-in densitometer of the printer, and calculate the difference between the density values obtained by the measurement. A calibration table for calibrating the density value of the built-in densitometer is created on the basis, stored in the printer, and the printer density quality control is performed based on the density value calibrated by the calibration table. A printer density quality control method is provided.
[0008]
Similarly, in order to solve the above-described problem, a second aspect of the present invention is a printer density quality control system, comprising: a reference density piece whose density value is measured by a densitometer calibrated by a national standard; An external densitometer calibrated using the reference density piece, a test pattern output means for outputting a test pattern for density measurement, a built-in densitometer for measuring the density of the test pattern for density measurement, and the density measurement Input means for inputting the density value obtained by measuring the density of the test pattern with the external densitometer, the density measurement value of the test pattern for density measurement by the input external densitometer, and the density measurement by the built-in densitometer Calibration table creation means for creating a calibration table for calibrating the density value of the built-in densitometer from the density measurement value of the test pattern for the test pattern, and the created It is composed of a printer having a storage means for storing a positive table provides a quality control system of the printer concentration, characterized by calibrating said stored concentration values of the built densitometer by the calibration table.
[0009]
The printer preferably further includes at least one of storage means for storing quality control information and display means for displaying quality control information.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a printer density quality control method and system according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to preferred embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings.
The printer density quality control system of this embodiment prepares an external densitometer calibrated with a reference density piece in order to periodically calibrate the densitometer built in the printer in order to perform printer density quality control. The density measurement test pattern output from the printer is measured with the built-in densitometer and external densitometer, and a calibration table is created to calibrate the density value of the built-in densitometer from the difference between each density measurement value. This is to try to calibrate the concentration measurement value by the built-in concentration meter every time.
