本発明は電子レンジに関し、より詳しくは調理室が多数位置で透視できるように前方に突出したドアを容易に製作し得るようにした電子レンジに関するものである。

一般に、電子レンジは電装室に設置されたマグネトロンから発生される高周波を用いて、調理室内に置かれた調理物を調理するか暖める器具であって、高周波を調理室の内部に放射して、調理物に含有された水分の分子配列を反復的に変換させることで、飲食物の水分分子間の摩擦熱を起こして調理物を調理するようになっている。
図1はドア8が開放された状態の従来の電子レンジの斜視図である。同図に示すように、従来の電子レンジは、ハウジング1と、前記ハウジング1の内部に区画されて設けられた電装室2及び調理室3とを有する。電装室2には、高周波を発生させるためのマグネトロン4と、前記マグネトロン4を冷却させるとともに、調理室を通じて空気を循環させることで、調理物から発生する水分及び匂いを外部へ排出させるための送風ファン5とが設けられる。

同図に示すように、本発明による電子レンジは、高周波を発生させるためのいろいろな電気部品が設けられる電装室10と、調理物を調理するための空間を有し、前面が開放されている調理室20と、調理室20の開放前面を開閉するためのドア30とを備える。

以上説明したように、本発明による電子レンジは、ドアが前方に突出する構造であるので、多数位置及び角度で調理室の内部を透視することができる。よって、調理室内で調理される調理物の調理状態を多数位置で迅速に確認することができる利点があるものである。
また、本発明による電子レンジは、前方に突出するドアがプレス加工により二つのドア片に製作された後、溶接により相互結合される構造であるので、製作が簡便で迅速に行える利点があるものである。
