本発明は、主としてテレビ電話装置が他のテレビ電話装置に提示するための画像を提供する画像提供装置及び画像提供方法並びにテレビ電話装置用制御プログラム及びプログラム提供装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、テレビ電話装置が他のテレビ電話装置に提示するための画像に関連する公知技術として、特許文献１に、テレビ電話装置間の接続を仲介するサービス事業者システムが、テレビ電話装置から伝送されるライブ映像に利用者が選択した商品の広告情報を合成し、更に広告情報の商品に関わるスポンサーシステムの接続先情報を付加して通信相手のテレビ電話装置に送信し、通信相手のテレビ電話装置が、利用者の商品画像の選択に応じてスポンサーシステムに接続要求し、接続したスポンサーシステムから詳細な商品情報を受信する構成が開示されている。

また、特許文献２、３には、送信側のテレビ電話装置と中継局と受信側のテレビ電話装置を通信手段で接続し、送信側のテレビ電話装置が撮像した画像を被写体画像と背景画像との分離して背景画像を処理し、分離した背景画像に替えて広告画像を映像として受信側のテレビ電話装置に送信し、更に広告画像を提供するスポンサーから得た収入を電話料金に充当し、又、バナー宣伝を映像に表示してインターネットにリンクする構成が開示されている。

また、特許文献４には、送信側のテレビ電話装置に広告画像を記憶し、広告画像と撮影画像を合成した合成画像を送信し、受信側のテレビ電話装置に広告画像が含まれる合成画像を表示させるもので、更には広告画像をネットワークを介して送信側のテレビ電話装置に送信し、テレビ電話装置の記憶手段に記憶させ広告画像を更新する構成が開示されている。

また、特許文献５には、送信側のテレビ電話装置から撮影画像と背景画像を識別する識別コードを送信し、受信側のテレビ電話装置で識別コードにより識別される背景画像と送信されてきた撮影画像を合成して表示し、更には外部からネットワークを介して背景画像及び識別コードを受信し、背景画像記憶手段の内容を更新できる構成が開示されている。

尚、他に参考技術として、特許文献６に、広告コンテンツに映像コンテンツ等の無料付加コンテンツを付加して可搬媒体に格納し、ユーザーに無料で配布して閲覧させ、広告コンテンツや無料付加コンテンツに含まれるＵＲＬ等のポインタ情報にてユーザーがインターネットを経由して広告コンテンツ配布元のホームページにアクセスし、詳細な商品情報の入手やオンラインでの購入手続きを行う構成が開示され、又、特許文献７に、例えば映画に出演している俳優が持っているバッグのメーカー名等を利用者が知りたい場合に、利用者がそのバッグにカーソルを移動させ位置を指定すると、対象検出手段がその位置のバッグを検出し、属性情報抽出手段が検出したバッグの属性情報を記録媒体から抽出し、バッグのメーカー名や型番等の属性情報を画面中に表示する構成が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、特許文献１〜４のように利用者自身の画像等と広告画像を合成し、通信相手のテレビ電話装置に送信する構成は、広告画像を通信相手に提示することで、一定の販促を図ることが可能であるものの、通信相手は事業者側と合成画像の発信者側で準備される広告画像を一方的に提示されるため、その広告画像に対し通信相手は単に事業者側が提示する場合の広告画像と同程度の心理的抵抗を持つこと、更に、広告画像は合成画像の発信者側から片方向で不特定多数の通信相手に送信されるため、マスマーケティングになること、更には、通信相手は相手側から一方的に広告画像を送信されるため、広告画像の提示を望まない通信相手には迷惑となることから、効果的に販促を図ることは困難である。また、テレビ電話装置が他のテレビ電話装置に送信する画像は、通信者双方にとって有益な画像或は通信者双方にとって娯楽性が高い画像であることが望まれる。

本発明は上記課題に鑑み提案するものであり、テレビ電話装置の通信者双方にとって有益な画像或は通信者双方にとって娯楽性が高い画像を提供し、テレビ電話装置による通信の有用性や魅力を高められるビジネスモデルを創出することができ、又、通信相手の宣伝画像に対する心理的抵抗を無くし、通信相手や通信者双方の嗜好に合わせ、或いは通信者双方のコミュニケーション自体をターゲットとする個別的なマーケティングが可能であり、効果的な販促を図ることを可能にする画像提供装置及び画像提供方法並びにテレビ電話装置用制御プログラム及びプログラム提供装置を提供することを目的とする。また、他の目的は、テレビ電話装置によるコミュニケーションの娯楽性を向上し、テレビ電話装置に対する利用者の魅力を向上することができる画像提供装置及び画像提供方法並びにテレビ電話装置用制御プログラム及びプログラム提供装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の画像提供装置は、テレビ電話装置が他のテレビ電話装置に送信するテレビ電話装置用画像を通信ネットワークを介してテレビ電話装置に提供する画像提供装置であって、テレビ電話装置用画像の内容若しくはテレビ電話装置用画像中の所定の対象画像の内容に関連する関連情報が明示的に若しくは表示可能若しくは発音可能に付加されるテレビ電話装置用画像を格納する手段と、通信ネットワークを介して接続するテレビ電話装置から配信するテレビ電話装置用画像の指定を受け付け、該指定に対応するテレビ電話装置用画像を抽出し、該関連情報が付加されているテレビ電話装置用画像をテレビ電話装置に配信する手段とを備えることを特徴とする。即ち、適宜構成されるテレビ電話装置が他のテレビ電話装置と通信ネットワークを介して音声及び画像を送受信する系に対し、前記テレビ電話装置へ合成用画像若しくは共有用画像などテレビ電話装置用画像と共に付加されている関連情報を指定に応じて配信する。尚、関連情報や後述する通信先接続情報等の所定情報の付加は、例えば画像提供装置の所定部等が、文字列、ビット列、乱数等のデータを電子透かし情報として画像に埋め込む、或いは画像に書き込まれる等により行われ、又、付加する関連情報は、画像データ若しくは文字データ若しくは音声データ若しくはこれらの組み合わせ等とすることが可能である。又、前記テレビ電話装置用画像は、例えば携帯電話若しくは固定電話若しくは専用電話機のテレビ電話装置の機種に対応した画像や、各種テレビ電話装置の規格に対応した画像等とすると好適である。

前記テレビ電話装置用画像に、例えば観光先の画像に対する観光先の情報など画像内容に関連する関連情報をテレビ電話装置用画像の内容若しくは画像中の所定のシーンに合わせて画像内若しくは画像欄外の所定領域に明示されるように付加し、テレビ電話装置の制御部が他のテレビ電話装置に関連情報が明示されるテレビ電話装置用画像を送信し、他のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、受信するテレビ電話装置用画像と共に関連情報を復号化して再生し、テレビ電話装置用画像を画像表示部で表示し、且つ関連情報を所定領域に画像表示部で表示する構成や、又、前記テレビ電話装置用画像に、例えば前記関連情報をテレビ電話装置用画像の内容若しくは画像中の所定シーンの内容に合わせ画像内若しくは画像欄外の所定領域に表示可能に付加し、例えばテレビ電話装置用画像をテレビ電話装置から受信する他のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、受信するテレビ電話装置用画像を復号化して再生し画像表示部で表示し、更にテレビ電話装置用画像に対する所定画像など所定箇所の指定入力若しくは所定シーンが表示されている際の表示要求の入力ボタンの指定入力など関連情報の再生要求の入力部からの入力に応じ、表示可能に付加されている関連情報を復号化して再生し、テレビ電話装置用画像と共に画像内の所定領域や画像欄外の所定領域等に画像表示部で表示する構成や、又、前記テレビ電話装置用画像に、例えば前記関連情報をテレビ電話装置用画像の内容若しくは画像中の所定シーンの内容に対応して発音可能に付加し、例えばテレビ電話装置用画像をテレビ電話装置から受信する他のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、受信するテレビ電話装置用画像を復号化して再生し画像表示部で表示し、更にテレビ電話装置用画像に対する画像内の所定画像など所定箇所若しくは画像欄外の所定箇所等の指定入力若しくは所定シーンが表示されている際の発音要求の入力ボタンの指定入力など関連情報の再生要求の入力部からの入力に応じ、発音可能に付加されている音声データである関連情報を復号化して再生しスピーカで発音する構成等とすることが可能である。

又は、前記テレビ電話装置用画像に、例えば観光先画像中の観光対象の画像に対する観光対象の情報など画像中の対象画像内容に関連する関連情報を対象画像の近傍など画像内若しくは画像欄外の所定領域に明示されるように付加し、テレビ電話装置の制御部が他のテレビ電話装置に関連情報が明示されるテレビ電話装置用画像を送信し、他のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、受信するテレビ電話装置用画像と共に関連情報を復号化して再生し、テレビ電話装置用画像を画像表示部で表示し、且つ関連情報を所定領域に画像表示部で表示する構成や、又、前記テレビ電話装置用画像に、例えば前記関連情報を対象画像の近傍など画像内若しくは画像欄外の所定領域に表示可能に付加し、例えばテレビ電話装置用画像をテレビ電話装置から受信する他のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、受信するテレビ電話装置用画像を復号化して再生し画像表示部で表示し、更にテレビ電話装置用画像に対する対象画像など所定箇所の指定入力若しくは所定の対象画像が表示されている際の表示要求の入力ボタンの指定入力など関連情報の再生要求の入力部からの入力に応じ、表示可能に付加されている関連情報を復号化して再生し、テレビ電話装置用画像と共に対象画像の近傍に吹き出し形式で表示するなど画像内の所定領域や画像欄外の所定領域に画像表示部で表示する構成や、又、前記テレビ電話装置用画像に、例えば前記関連情報を対象画像に対応して発音可能に付加し、例えばテレビ電話装置用画像をテレビ電話装置から受信する他のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、受信するテレビ電話装置用画像を復号化して再生し画像表示部で表示し、更にテレビ電話装置用画像に対する画像内の所定画像など所定箇所若しくは画像欄外の所定箇所等の指定入力若しくは所定の対象画像が表示されている際の発音要求の入力ボタンの指定入力など関連情報の再生要求の入力部からの入力に応じ、発音可能に付加されている音声データである関連情報を復号化して再生しスピーカで発音する構成等とすることが可能であり、更にはこれらの組み合わせとするなど適宜の構成を採用できる。

前記関連情報の付加に於いては、例えば画像提供装置の所定記憶部が、前記関連情報が予め付加されているテレビ電話装置用画像を記憶する或いは関連情報及び関連情報が予め付加されているテレビ電話装置用画像を記憶する構成とするとよいが、必要に応じて或いは前記構成に代え、テレビ電話装置用画像の指定の受付や配信をする際に関連情報を付加する構成としてもよく、例えば画像提供装置のＣＰＵ等の画像提供処理部等が所定のプログラムと協働し、テレビ電話装置用画像の指定の受付や配信をする際に、所定記憶部に格納する関連情報を抽出し、別途抽出するテレビ電話装置用画像に関連情報を所定位置に貼り付ける若しくは設定されている所定位置に電子透かしなどで埋め込む等で一体化して付加する構成等とする。前記配信等の際に関連情報を付加する場合、画像提供装置の画像提供処理部等が、テレビ電話装置用画像のＩＤと関連情報のＩＤの対応テーブルを参照する等により、予め所定のテレビ電話装置用画像を対応して格納されている関連情報を抽出して付加する構成や、例えば複数の関連情報の各選択要求ボタンを有するメニュー画面等を抽出してテレビ電話装置に提示することにより、関連情報の選択要求の送信を促し、テレビ電話装置から所定の関連情報の選択要求を受信して受け付け、受け付けた選択要求に対応する関連情報を抽出し、別途抽出するテレビ電話装置用画像に抽出した関連情報を付加する構成等としてもよい。

前記画像提供装置のテレビ電話装置用画像の指定の受付は、例えば画像提供装置の所定部が、接続するテレビ電話装置に複数のテレビ電話装置用画像の一若しくは複数のサンプル画像を表示する画面を送信して提示し、指定可能なサンプル画像の指定等によりテレビ電話装置から特定のサンプル画像に対する指定要求を受信して受け付け、前記指定要求のサンプル画像に対応して記憶するテレビ電話装置用画像を抽出する構成、或いは画像提供装置の所定部が、接続するテレビ電話装置に操作ボタン若しくは音声でキーワード等の入力を促す画面を送信して提示し、入力されるキーワード等を受信して受け付け、記憶する画像項目から前記キーワード等に対応する画像項目やその画像項目に対応するサンプル画像を抽出し、最新のものから時系列で並べるなど所定の順番で画像項目やサンプル画像を表示する画面を生成し、そのサンプル画像等を表示する画面をテレビ電話装置に送信して提示し、テレビ電話装置から特定の画像項目若しくはサンプル画像に対する指定要求を受信して受け付け、前記指定要求の画像項目若しくはサンプル画像に対応して記憶するテレビ電話装置用画像を抽出する構成、或いは画像提供装置の所定部が、必要に応じてテレビ電話装置用画像のＩＤ等の識別情報の入力を入力欄等で促す画面を提示し、接続するテレビ電話装置から配信するテレビ電話装置用画像のＩＤ等の識別情報を受信して指定を受け付け、ＩＤ等の各識別情報に対応して記憶するテレビ電話装置用画像から前記受け付けた識別情報に対応するテレビ電話装置用画像を抽出する構成等とするなど適宜である。また、前記テレビ電話装置用画像の配信は、例えば画像提供装置の所定部が、接続するテレビ電話装置にテレビ電話装置用画像をダウンロードさせて配信する構成、或いは画像提供装置の所定部が、テレビ電話装置用画像の画像メールを生成し、予め記憶する若しくは受信して認識したテレビ電話装置のメールアドレスに画像メール或いは電子メールで配信する構成等とするなど適宜である。

更に、本発明の画像提供装置は、前記テレビ電話装置用画像若しくはテレビ電話装置用画像中の所定の対象画像を宣伝画像若しくは案内画像とし、前記関連情報を、２人以上若しくは２人以上の複数人を単位として特典を付与する特典情報と、該宣伝画像の宣伝内容若しくは案内画像の案内内容に関する詳細な情報を提供する情報提供装置の通信接続先情報を含むものとすることを特徴とする。例えば観光先画像に対応して旅行先など観光先の観光情報や、観光対象画像に対応して遺跡や店舗など観光対象に関する情報を関連情報として付加した旅行会社や地元商店街等の宣伝画像若しくはガイドブック的な案内画像をテレビ電話装置用画像とし、更に、関連情報として、所定の複数人等を単位として割引やポイントを付与するなど特典情報や、観光先など宣伝内容に関して必要に応じ予約情報等を含む詳細な情報を提供する情報提供サーバーによる情報提供サイトのＵＲＬ、ＩＰアドレス、情報提供サイトに接続する電話番号等の通信接続先情報等を含むもの等とする。

テレビ電話装置が他のテレビ電話装置に送信する或いは他のテレビ電話装置と共有するテレビ電話装置用画像を宣伝画像若しくは案内画像とし、関連情報として、観光対象や商品等の推奨情報や特典情報や詳細な情報を得るための通信接続先情報等を含ませることにより、例えば観光先等の宣伝内容や案内内容について、相互に接続するテレビ電話装置の複数のユーザー同士が画像を参考にしながらリアルタイムでコミュニケーションして詳細にマイペースで検討し、予約や購買等の迅速で確実な判断や行動をすることができ、更にユーザー双方の利益になる特典情報により、双方のユーザーの予約や購買等の合意形成を促進することができる。更に、テレビ電話装置のユーザーが所望の宣伝画像若しくは案内画像を主体的に指定して配信を受け、その宣伝画像若しくは案内画像の内容を他のユーザーとピアトゥピアの環境で検討するので、ユーザー同士が共通で興味を持つ内容についてのコミュニケーションの参考資料として、配信を受けた宣伝画像若しくは案内画像から適切な所望の宣伝画像若しくは案内画像を適宜利用することができ、又、広告的な意味合いでなくユーザーが他のユーザーの宣伝画像若しくは案内画像を提示し、宣伝内容若しくは案内内容に対する判断は完全にユーザーの自主的な意志に基づく双方の合意に委ねられ、ユーザーは予約や購買等の判断をより適切に行うことができ、更に、宣伝画像若しくは案内画像を提示されたユーザーも広告として特に意識することがなく、心理的抵抗や不快感を感じることがない。更に、広告主等が関与しない仮想空間で、広告に対する利害関係を有しないユーザー同士が配信を受けた宣伝画像の宣伝内容若しくは案内画像の案内内容に関するコミュニケーションを行い、加えて宣伝画像若しくは案内画像の拡散や宣伝画像若しくは案内画像を用いてテレビ電話により多数のコミュニケーションが行われることで、宣伝内容若しくは案内内容に関する信頼性が高い口コミ情報の生成や生成支援をすることが可能となり、非常に有効で連鎖的な宣伝やマーケティングを図ることができる。従って、販売者等の宣伝画像の提供者側は、信頼性が高い口コミ情報を創出及び拡大し、非常に有効なマーケティング活動を展開することが可能となり、高度な販売促進効果や顧客誘因効果等を得ることができる。更に、観光先や商店街など所定の場所等を一体的に宣伝或いはガイドすることも可能となる。

また、宣伝画像若しくは案内画像等のテレビ電話装置用画像の配信は、例えばテレビ電話装置用画像が宣伝的若しくはマーケティング的な意味合いが強い内容である場合等に、画像提供装置に配信先のテレビ電話装置の利用者に対する課金手段を設けずに、無料で配信する構成とすると、利用者や他の利用者が気軽に画像を取得し、広範にテレビ電話装置用画像を流通することが可能になり、宣伝や口コミ情報の創出等をより図ることができて好適であるが、例えばテレビ電話装置用画像の内容がよりガイドブック的な内容である場合や娯楽性が高い内容である場合等には、画像提供装置の所定部が、宣伝画像若しくは案内画像等のテレビ電話装置用画像の配信に対して利用者に課金する構成等とし、有料で配信する構成等とすると好適である。

前記テレビ電話装置用画像の配信に対して利用者に課金する構成は固定制或いは従量制の課金など適宜であり、例えば画像提供装置の所定部が、画像配信サービスに加入している利用者のＩＤ、パスワード、電話番号、氏名、住所、ＩＣカード挿入型のテレビ電話装置である携帯電話の場合のＩＣカード番号、或いは引落口座番号やクレジットカード番号等の課金先情報等の所要データを有する利用者ファイルを記憶し、毎月の所定日など定期的に画像配信に対する月額等の固定額の課金データを課金先情報に対応して利用者ファイルに書き込んで課金し、若しくは利用者ファイルから利用者ＩＤや課金先情報等の所要の利用者データを抽出し、固定額の課金データを対応して書き込んで課金ファイルを生成して課金し、更に前記利用者のパスワードや電話番号や指紋や声紋等の利用者ファイルに記憶する所定の登録認証情報を用い、前記テレビ電話装置の接続要求時若しくはテレビ電話装置用画像の指定の受付前若しくはテレビ電話装置用の配信前等の所定段階で、テレビ電話装置から入力等され送信される認証情報を受信し、受信した認証情報と登録認証情報を照合して認証する構成等や、或いは画像提供装置の所定部が、利用者のＩＤ、パスワード、電話番号、氏名、住所或いは引落口座番号やクレジットカード番号等の課金先情報等の所要データを有する利用者ファイルを記憶し、必要に応じてサンプル画像若しくは画像項目の提示画面等でサンプル画像若しくは画像項目に対応して記憶する配信画像の値段或いは一律金額等を提示し、配信画像の指定を受け付けた際等に、利用者のパスワードや電話番号や指紋や声紋等の利用者ファイルに記憶する所定の登録認証情報を用い、テレビ電話装置から受信する認証情報と登録認証情報を照合して認証し、認証した利用者の課金先情報に課金データを書き込んで課金する構成や、或いは画像提供装置の所定部が、必要に応じてサンプル画像若しくは画像項目の提示画面等でサンプル画像若しくは画像項目に対応して記憶する配信画像の値段或いは一律金額等を提示し、配信画像の指定を受け付けた際に指定を受け付けた配信画像の金額を取得若しくは合計金額を計算して取得し、前記金額を表示すると共に前記金額に相当する電子マネーの送信を促す画面をテレビ電話装置に送信して提示し、テレビ電話装置から送信される電子マネーを受信して前記配信画像の金額と照合し、金額が合致する場合に画像を配信する構成等とすることが可能である。

更に、本発明の画像提供装置は、前記テレビ電話装置が合成対象画像に合成用画像を合成して合成画像を生成し、他のテレビ電話装置に送信する手段を有するものであり、前記テレビ電話装置用画像を合成用画像とすることを特徴とする。例えばテレビ電話装置用画像を携帯電話の機種やプログラムの規格に合わせた合成用画像とし、その合成用画像による合成画像で利用者がコミュニケーションすることにより、利用者の娯楽性を高めることができると共に、宣伝やマーケティングの効果を高めることができる。

また、本発明の画像提供装置は、合成対象画像に合成用画像を合成して合成画像を生成し、他のテレビ電話装置に送信する手段を有する一のテレビ電話装置に通信ネットワークを介して合成用画像を提供する画像提供装置であって、画像提供装置への通信接続先情報が付加されるテレビ電話装置用画像である合成用画像を格納する手段と、通信ネットワークを介して接続する一のテレビ電話装置から配信する合成用画像の指定を受け付け、該指定に対応する合成用画像を抽出し、該通信接続先情報が付加されている合成用画像を一のテレビ電話装置に配信する手段と、一のテレビ電話装置から他のテレビ電話装置に伝送される該合成用画像の通信接続先情報に基づき通信ネットワークを介して接続する他のテレビ電話装置から配信する合成用画像の指定を受け付け、該指定に対応する合成用画像を抽出し、該通信接続先情報が付加されている合成用画像を他のテレビ電話装置に配信する手段、若しくは、前記通信接続先情報には合成用画像の識別情報が含まれ、一のテレビ電話装置から他のテレビ電話装置に伝送される該合成用画像の通信接続先情報に基づき通信ネットワークを介して接続する他のテレビ電話装置に対し、接続に応じて該識別情報に対応する合成用画像を抽出し、該通信接続先情報が付加されている合成用画像を配信する手段とを備えることを特徴とする。

画像提供装置のＵＲＬや電話番号等の通信接続先情報が付加される合成用画像をテレビ電話装置に配信し、前記テレビ電話装置と通信する他のテレビ電話装置から前記合成用画像の通信接続先情報により接続要求を受け付け、他のテレビ電話装置に合成用画像を配信することにより、合成用画像を使用する利用者とのコミュニケーションで他の利用者が合成用画像の取得或いは取得の検討を望む場合に、利用者から送信される合成用画像の通信接続先情報に対する指定入力等によって画像提供装置に容易且つ迅速にアクセスすることができ、合成用画像の配信ビジネスを創出し拡大することが可能となる。更に、利用者から送信される合成用画像と同一等の識別情報に対応する合成用画像を他の利用者に直ちに提示或いは配信することにより、合成用画像を使用する利用者とのコミュニケーションで他の利用者が嗜好に合う合成用画像を見つけた場合に容易且つ迅速に所望の合成用画像を取得することができる。また、合成用画像の配信を受けたテレビ電話装置の利用者が合成用画像を使用して多数のコミュニケーションを積み重ねることで、連鎖的に合成用画像の配信サービスに対する宣伝を図ることができ、多大な販促効果や顧客誘因効果を発揮することができる。また、合成用画像として例えば風景画像やキャラクター画像やアイテム画像等を配信することにより、テレビ電話装置によるユーザー相互のコミュニケーションの娯楽性を非常に高めることができる。また、合成用画像の識別情報に対応して合成用画像と同一の画像を提示或いは配信する以外に、例えば合成用画像の識別情報に対応して合成用画像と所定の関連性を有する画像、例えばシリーズの画像や続きの画像等を提示或いは配信する構成等としても、利用者の娯楽性を高めることができ好適である。

尚、本発明に於ける画像提供装置は、所定の手段として機能するコンピュータであれば適宜であり、例えばサーバ、パソコン、ネットワークで接続される複数のコンピュータ、テレビ電話装置と遠隔で通信する専用装置或は多機能装置、ショッピングセンター・コンビニエンスストア・店舗内・道路近傍など所要箇所に設置されテレビ電話装置と近距離で通信する専用装置或は多機能装置、又はこれらの所要の組み合わせ等とすることが可能である。また、本発明に於けるテレビ電話装置は、携帯電話若しくは固定電話のテレビ電話装置とすると好適であるが、通信ネットワークを介して他のテレビ電話装置と音声及び画像を送受信し、音声及び画像の入出力により双方向にコミュニケーション可能で、所定の手段として機能するコンピュータであれば適宜であり、例えば携帯電話・固定電話の他に携帯端末によるテレビ電話装置や、車載装置によるテレビ電話装置や、テレビ電話機能を有するパソコン或はテレビ受像機や、セットトップボックス・チューナー・テレビゲーム機など所定機器とテレビ受像機との組み合わせ等によるテレビ電話装置や、テレビ会議端末等とすることが可能である。

また、配信するテレビ電話装置用画像は、動画像若しくは静止画像、或は半透明の画像、或はこれらの適宜の組み合わせ等とすることが可能であり、又、テレビ電話装置用画像は画像に併せて再生する音声が付加されているものとしてもよい。更に、例えば携帯電話や固定電話のテレビ電話装置の機種に応じた画像や、携帯電話や固定電話のテレビ電話装置の所定の専用プログラムで送信可能な画像等としてもよく、又、テレビ電話装置同士の共有用画像や合成用画像等とすることが可能である。また、配信するテレビ電話装置用画像の内容は、例えば観光先等の風景画像、屋内や屋外など所定空間の画像、映画や番組等の画像、店舗・遺跡など観光対象や人物や動植物やキャラクターや衣服・眼鏡・アクセサリー・花など商品或は物品等の画像でこれらの対象のみの場所的に部分的な画像若しくはこれらを含む画像等とし、又、配信するテレビ電話装置用画像は、例えばテレビ電話装置の制御部等が所定のプログラムと協働して動作可能なキャラクター画像等の部分的な画像や、所定位置への移動入力に応じて画面内で所定位置へ移動可能なキャラクター画像等の部分的な画像等としてもよい。更に、テレビ電話装置用画像の目的内容は、例えば宣伝目的の宣伝画像や、ガイドブック的な案内画像若しくは紹介画像や、テレビ電話装置によるユーザー相互のコミュニケーションの娯楽性を高める娯楽画像や、テレビ電話装置によるユーザー相互のコミュニケーションで参考資料とする参考画像や、これらの組み合わせ等とすることが可能である。また、例えば画面の略全面に亘って表示されるテレビ電話装置用画像中に部分的に表示される所定の対象画像をテレビ電話装置用画像として配信する構成としてもよく、かかる場合にも例えば上記テレビ電話装置用画像の場合と同様に対象画像の識別情報を有する通信接続先情報を対象画像に付加して配信する構成等とするなど、上述したような適宜の配信構成とすることが可能である。

また、テレビ電話装置用画像に付加される内容に関連する関連情報は、例えばテレビ電話装置用画像の画像中に時間的若しくは場所的に部分的に表示される対象画像若しくは場所的に部分的な画像である対象画像のテレビ電話装置用画像の内容に関連して、その対象に関連する名称、場所、デザイン、値段など所定情報、或は観光先や映画等のテレビ電話装置用画像の内容に関連して、観光先や映画の紹介や値段や交通の便等の内容に関連する所定情報、或はこれらの組み合わせ等とすることが可能であり、必要に応じて上述した特典情報や、通信接続先情報等が含まれる。又、テレビ電話装置用画像中の複数の対象画像に対応して各々関連情報を例えば電子透かし等で埋め込んで付加してもよい。又、付加される関連情報は、例えば文字、静止画像若しくは動画像など視覚的に表示可能なデータの他、例えば音声により情報を提供可能な音声データや、これらの組み合わせ等とすることも可能である。

更に、テレビ電話装置用画像の合成用画像は、例えば合成対象画像の周囲若しくは一部の背景として合成される背景画像、或はキャラクター画像や店舗画像や観光対象画像等の対象画像で合成対象画像の所定位置に配置可能な部分的な対象画像等で、所定のプログラムと協働するテレビ電話装置の制御部等が、合成画像を生成すべく合成対象画像の後方のレイヤーに合成する画像、又は、略中央など所定位置に合成対象画像の一部を視認可能な穴が形成されている枠画像若しくはフレーム画像などの前景画像、或いはキャラクター画像や店舗画像や観光対象画像等の対象画像で合成対象画像の所定位置に配置可能な部分的な対象画像等で、所定のプログラムと協働するテレビ電話装置の制御部等が、合成画像を生成すべく合成対象画像の前方のレイヤーに合成する画像、又は、これらの組み合わせとすること等が可能であり、複数の合成用画像を同一の合成対象画像に合成可能な構成等としてもよい。また、テレビ電話装置で合成画像を生成する場合の合成対象画像は、例えばテレビ電話装置の制御部等が、所定のプログラムと協働し、テレビ電話装置の撮像部で撮像する画像をリアルタイムで取得する画像や、前記画像から背景差分やフレーム間差分等の分離処理により人物等の画像を抽出したものや、或はこれらの画像を予め所定の記憶部に記憶し、記憶部から抽出したもの等とすることが可能であり、動画像若しくは静止画像若しくはこれらの組み合わせ等とすることが可能であり、テレビ電話装置の制御部等が半透明処理を施した半透明画像としてもよい。更に、合成対象画像の内容は、例えば利用者等の人物、動物、植物、アクセサリーや花瓶など物品、キャラクター画像、風景画像、屋内や屋外の空間等の所定空間の画像、或いはこれらの組み合わせなど適宜である。

また、通信接続先情報は画像提供装置とテレビ電話装置が接続可能な情報であれば適宜であり、例えばＵＲＬやＩＰアドレス、電話番号等とすることが可能であり、画像提供装置或はその所定サイトに対応するＵＲＬ或いはＩＰアドレスにテレビ電話装置がアクセスして接続する構成や、電話番号が設定されている画像提供装置或はその所定サイトに、携帯電話若しくは固定電話等のテレビ電話装置が前記電話番号で発呼することによりテレビ電話装置が画像提供装置或いはその所定サイトに接続する構成等とすることが可能であり、上記関連情報と同様に電子透かし等で埋め込む等で適宜付加することが可能である。

また、例えば画像提供装置の所定部が所定のプログラムと協働し、テレビ電話装置用画像に電子透かしで符号化して関連情報を付加し、又、テレビ電話装置の所定部或は他のテレビ電話装置の所定部が所定のプログラムと協働し、テレビ電話装置用画像に電子透かしで付加されている関連情報を復号化して再生する場合等に、その電子透かしの方式は、例えば画像データ等を高速フーリエ変換（ＦＦＴ）や離散コサイン変換（ＤＣＴ）等の周波数成分に変換し、特定の周波数成分に透かしデータを埋め込んで符号化し、指定入力等に応じ対応する方式で復号化する方式や、画素の輝度に透かしデータを足し込む等で埋め込んで符号化し、これに対応する方式で復号化する方式など適宜の方式を用いることができる。

また、テレビ電話装置用画像データに文章を含む画像データの関連情報データを付加する構成は、例えばテレビ電話装置用画像の所定位置や所定の対象画像に関連情報データを埋め込んで付加する構成以外にも、テレビ電話装置用画像データに独立する関連情報データを対応させて付加し、テレビ電話装置用画像データの所定位置や所定の対象画像に所定の関連情報の再生制御指令の実行要求や送信要求を埋め込んでおくようにしてもよく、画像提供装置の画像提供処理部が所定のプログラムと協働し、所定のテレビ電話装置用画像の配信要求に応じて、所定記憶部から前記テレビ電話装置用画像データ及び関連情報データを抽出してテレビ電話装置に配信し、テレビ電話装置がこれらを受信して格納する構成とし、テレビ電話装置或いは通信相手の他のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、前記所定位置や所定の対象画像の指定入力や指定入力の受信による再生制御指令の実行要求の認識、若しくは再生制御指令の送信要求の認識により送信される再生制御指令の受信等に応じて再生制御指令を実行し、所定記憶部に記憶する若しくは受信して所定記憶部に記憶する関連情報データを抽出し復号化して再生し、或いは記憶する関連情報データから前記所定位置や所定の対象画像の実行要求や送信要求に対応する所定の関連情報データを抽出し復号化して再生し、関連情報を画像表示部で表示する構成等としてもよく、同様な構成は発音可能な音声データの関連情報データについても同様の構成としてスピーカで出力する構成等とすることが可能である。更に、前記再生制御指令の実行で、関連情報を出力する代わりに、抽出する関連情報データを通信相手のテレビ電話装置で復号化され再生されるように符号化し、通信相手のテレビ電話装置に送信する構成としてもよく、或いはこれらの両方の構成等とすることも可能である。

また、テレビ電話装置用画像データに鍵データで復号可能な関連情報データを埋め込んで付加若しくは対応させて付加し、画像提供装置の画像提供処理部が所定のプログラムと協働し、所定のテレビ電話装置用画像の配信要求に応じ、所定記憶部から前記テレビ電話装置用画像データ若しくは前記テレビ電話装置用画像データ及び関連情報データと、前記関連情報データを復号化する鍵データ若しくは鍵データ及び鍵データの実行プログラムを抽出して配信し、テレビ電話装置がこれらを受信して所定記憶部に格納する構成とし、鍵データ若しくは鍵データと鍵データの実行プログラムを再生制御指令の一部若しくは全部とし、必要に応じて配信する構成としてもよい。この場合に、例えばテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、所定入力や受信による鍵データ若しくは鍵データと鍵データの実行プログラムの実行要求の認識、或いは所定入力や受信による鍵データ若しくは鍵データと鍵データの実行プログラムの送信要求の認識により送信される鍵データ等の受信、或いは他のテレビ電話装置に於ける所定入力による受信した鍵データ等の実行要求の認識等に応じて、再生制御指令を実行する、即ち、テレビ電話装置用画像に埋め込まれている関連情報データ、或いは所定記憶部に記憶する若しくは受信して所定記憶部に記憶する関連情報データを抽出し、実行プログラムなど所定のプログラムと協働して暗号化されている関連情報データを鍵データにより復号化して再生し、そして、画像や文章の関連情報を画像表示部で表示する、或いは音声の関連情報をスピーカで出力する構成等とすることが可能である。更に、複数の鍵データを用い、所定の鍵データに対応する所定の関連情報データを所定の鍵データで復号化するようにしてもよい。

また、テレビ電話装置用画像を格納するテレビ電話装置が、テレビ電話装置用画像の関連情報を復号化し再生して画像表示部に表示等する構成とすることが適宜可能であり、上記他のテレビ電話装置の場合と基本的に同様の構成により、例えばテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、所定の記憶部に記憶するテレビ電話装置用画像を抽出し、復号化し再生して画像表示部で表示すると共に、所定の入力に応じてテレビ電話装置用画像に付加されている関連情報を復号化して再生し、画像表示部やスピーカで出力する構成等とする。また、合成用画像、宣伝画像、共有画像等のテレビ電話装置用画像には、例えば画像提供装置の所定部が、テレビ電話装置用画像の配信を受ける認証した利用者の所定ＩＤを記憶するデータから抽出し或いは所定ＩＤを生成して格納し、所定ＩＤを抽出したテレビ電話装置用画像に電子透かし情報として埋め込んで付加し、前記利用者の所定ＩＤを付加したテレビ電話装置用画像を配信する構成等とすると、複製抑止効果が得られて好適である。

また、格納するテレビ電話装置用画像データ及び付加されている関連情報データを抽出して送信する第１のテレビ電話装置が、テレビ電話装置用画像データ及び関連情報データを通信相手の第２のテレビ電話装置に送信すると共に、第２のテレビ電話装置にテレビ電話装置用画像データに付加されている関連情報データの再生制御指令を送信し、第２のテレビ電話装置で受信するテレビ電話装置用画像データを復号化して表示し、受信する再生制御指令を実行して関連情報データを復号化して再生する構成としてもよく、例えば第１のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、記憶部から抽出するテレビ電話装置用画像データ及び付加されている関連情報データを符号化して通信ネットワークを介して接続される第２のテレビ電話装置に送信し、後述の音声入力や入力部からの入力など所定入力による所定の関連情報データの再生制御指令の送信要求を認識し、その認識に応じて所定の関連情報データの再生制御指令を第２のテレビ電話装置に送信し、他方に於いて、第２のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、受信するテレビ電話装置用画像データを復号化してテレビ電話装置用画像を画像表示部で表示し、受信する所定の関連情報の再生制御指令を実行して所定の再生制御指令に対応する所定の関連情報データを復号化して再生し、所定の関連情報を画像表示部やスピーカで出力する構成等とすると、利用者が通信相手に見せたい情報を所望時に適宜指定して閲覧させることが可能となり、利用者や通信相手の情報伝達の便宜性や柔軟性、娯楽性を向上することができる。更に、前記構成で、第１のテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、所定入力による所定の関連情報データの再生制御指令の実行要求を認識し、その認識に応じて所定の関連情報データの再生制御指令を実行して所定の再生制御指令に対応する所定の関連情報データを復号化して再生し、所定の関連情報を画像表示部やスピーカで出力する構成と共に用いると、例えば同一のテレビ電話装置用画像を共有する場合等に利用者が通信相手と所望の関連情報を共有することができると共に、前記作用効果が一層高められる。尚、前記構成に於いて、適宜の関連情報データを再生可能な再生制御指令を用い、再生制御指令の実行時に再生制御指令の実行で再生可能な所定の関連情報データを復号化して再生する構成とすることも可能であり、又、後述の音声入力の場合には、再生制御指令の送信要求や実行要求の認識を上述の特定のキーワード若しくは特定の音響パターンの認識として送信や実行を行う構成等とすることが可能であり、又、再生制御指令の送信要求と実行要求の入力は同一入力とすると好適である。

尚、マイクロフォンから入力される音声データや通信相手から受信して復号化する音声データから再生制御指令の実行要求や送信要求など所定要求或は所定の制御指令の実行に対応するキーワード若しくは音響パターンを認識する方式には適宜の音声認識技術等を用いることが可能であり、例えばテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、音声データを所定時間の音声区間に分割して各音声区間の特徴ベクトルを抽出し、所定の記憶部に記憶する標準音響パターンと各標準音響パターンに対応する単語辞書を参照して、隠れマルコフモデル等に基づき標準音響パターンと特徴ベクトルの尤度を算出し、所定の記憶部に記憶する所定の閾値を前記算出した尤度が超える場合に特定の標準音響パターンを抽出して前記特定の標準音響パターンに対応する単語を抽出し、その単語を設定キーワードと照合するキーワードとし、そのキーワードを設定キーワードと対比して特定のキーワードを認識する構成や、或は、音声データを所定時間の音声区間に分割して各音声区間の特徴ベクトルを抽出し、所定の記憶部に記憶されている特定の音響パターンを参照して特定の音響パターンと特徴ベクトルの尤度を算出し、所定の記憶部に記憶する所定の閾値を前記算出した尤度が超える場合に特定の音響パターンを認識する構成等とすることが可能である。又、テレビ電話装置用画像データや、テレビ電話装置用画像データに付加されている画像データ或いは音声データによる関連情報データの符号化・復号化には、ＭＰＥＧ４等の適宜の符号化・復号化技術を用いることが可能である。

また、テレビ電話装置用画像が例えばキャラクター画像等の動作制御指令を実行して動作する画像である場合に、例えばテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、マイクロフォンから入力される音声データや通信相手のテレビ電話装置から受信して復号化する音声データから、所定の動作制御指令の実行要求や所定の動作制御指令の送信要求として特定のキーワード若しくは特定の音響パターンを認識し、その認識に応じて所定の動作制御指令の実行や送信を行い、テレビ電話装置用画像に所定の動作制御指令に対応する所定の動作をさせる構成としてもよい。この場合にも上述した関連情報を再生する場合と同様の構成を適宜用いることが可能であり、又、キャラクター画像等のテレビ電話装置用画像を動作制御指令に基づき動作させる構成は、例えばキャラクター画像等に設定されているスケルトン構造体の腕など所定構成要素に対応する関節角を所定の動作制御指令として与えるなど適宜である。また、テレビ電話装置用画像が例えば画面内の一部分に表示される部分的な画像等の移動制御指令を実行して画面内を移動する画像である場合に、例えばテレビ電話装置の制御部が所定のプログラムと協働し、マイクロフォンから入力される音声データや通信相手のテレビ電話装置から受信して復号化する音声データから、所定の移動制御指令の実行要求や所定の移動制御指令の送信要求として特定のキーワード若しくは特定の音響パターンを認識し、その認識に応じて所定の移動制御指令の実行や送信を行い、テレビ電話装置用画像に所定の移動制御指令に対応する所定の移動をさせる構成としてもよい。この場合にも上述した関連情報を再生する場合や動作制御指令で動作させる場合と同様の構成を適宜用いることが可能であり、又、テレビ電話装置用画像を移動制御指令に基づき移動させる構成は、例えば全体画像に対して設定される座標軸に対して部分的なテレビ電話装置用画像の代表点に方向ベクトルを所定の移動制御指令として与えるなど適宜である。更に、テレビ電話装置用画像を前記移動と動作の両者が可能な構成としてもよい。かかる構成により、利用者自身や通信相手からの音声データでテレビ電話装置用画像にリアルタイムで動作や移動をさせることが可能となり、利用者や通信相手のテレビ電話装置用画像やテレビ電話装置によるコミュニケーションに対する娯楽性を非常に高めることができ、更には、テレビ電話装置用画像の配信ビジネスの創出や拡大、テレビ電話装置の利用方法やテレビ電話装置に於けるコンテンツの豊富化を図ることができる。尚、動作制御指令や移動制御指令の実行や送受信等の構成には再生制御指令について言及したものと同様の構成を適宜用いることが可能であり、例えば動作制御指令や移動制御指令の一部若しくは全部として鍵データや鍵データと実行プログラムを用い、所定の鍵データに対応する動作データや移動データをキャラクター画像等のテレビ電話装置用画像の付加データとし、所定の鍵データ等を実行や受信による実行により付加されている所定の鍵データに対応する動作データや移動データを復号化し、キャラクター画像等の動作や移動を生成する構成等とすることが可能である。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下では本発明の画像提供装置による画像提供について具体的な実施形態に基づき説明する。図１は実施形態の画像提供装置及びテレビ電話装置の全体構成を示す概要図、図２は画像提供装置の内部構成を示すブロック図、図３はテレビ電話装置の内部構成を示すブロック図である。

本実施形態の全体構成は、図１に示すように、テレビ電話装置２に合成用画像を配信する画像提供装置１と、ユーザーＡのテレビ電話装置２ａと、ユーザーＡの通信相手先である他のユーザーＢのテレビ電話装置２ｂとにより構成され、画像提供装置１とテレビ電話装置２ａ、画像提供装置１とテレビ電話装置２ｂはそれぞれインターネット或いはＩＰ網等の通信ネットワーク３を介して接続可能であり、相互にデータを送受信することが可能である。また、テレビ電話装置２ａ、２ｂ相互は、インターネット或いはＩＰ網等の通信ネットワーク４を介して接続可能であり、動画像等の画像及び音声をリアルタイムで双方向に送受信して情報伝達可能であり、本実施形態に於けるテレビ電話装置２ａ、２ｂの各々は、撮像画像に基づく合成対象画像と格納している合成用画像を合成して合成画像を生成し、合成画像を通信ネットワーク４を介して他のテレビ電話装置２ｂ、２ａ等に送信することが可能である。尚、通信ネットワーク３と通信ネットワーク４は、同一のものでも異なるものでもよい。

次に、上記構成で画像提供装置が実行する画像提供の流れについて説明する。図４は本実施形態による第１実施例の画像提供の流れを示すフローチャートであり、第１実施例は画像提供装置１がテレビ電話装置２ａに対し、合成用画像として動画像若しくは静止画像の背景画像を配信する構成である。尚、静止画像は自動的に静止画像が順次切り換わていくスライド式の静止画像でもよい。

先ず、ユーザーＡのＵＲＬの指定及び実行等により入力部２５から入力に応じて、テレビ電話装置２ａ或いはその制御部２１が通信ネットワーク３を介して画像提供装置１に接続要求し、画像提供装置１或いはその画像提供処理部１１は、前記接続要求に応じてテレビ電話装置２ａ或いは制御部２１と接続を確立すると共に（Ｓ１０１）、画像提供プログラムと協働し、画像データ記憶部１３の画像データを用いて背景画像選択画面或いは背景画像選択サイトをテレビ電話装置２ａに送信して提示する（Ｓ１０２）。テレビ電話装置２ａの制御部２１は、受信する背景画像選択画面或いは背景画像選択サイトのデータを認識し、背景画像選択画面或いは背景画像選択サイトを画像表示部２４に表示する。尚、画像提供装置１の画像提供処理部１１は、背景画像選択画面等の提示要求の指定可能なメニュー項目やボタン画像等が設置される所定画面等をテレビ電話装置２ａに送信して提示し、テレビ電話装置２ａで指定入力され送信される背景画像選択画面等の提示要求を受信して受け付け、前記受付に応じて背景画像選択画面等をテレビ電話装置２ａに送信して提示する構成等としてもよい。

前記背景画像選択画面等は、例えば一の画面若しくはリンクする複数の画面に、一若しくは複数の背景画像の見本画像を有し、前記見本画像の近傍に前記見本画像に対応する背景画像の配信要求の指定可能なメニュー項目やボタン画像等を有するもの等とする。前記配信要求には見本画像に対応する背景画像の識別情報が含まれる。前記背景画像の見本画像は、動画像若しくは静止画像の背景画像に対応して同一内容等の動画像若しくは静止画像とする構成や、動画像の背景画像に対応する静止画像の見本画像とする構成等とすることが可能であり、又、動画像の背景画像に於ける短時間の所定部分のシーンの動画像を見本画像としてもよい。尚、指定可能な配信要求の設置箇所や設置方式は適宜であり、例えば見本画像自体に配信要求情報を埋め込み、見本画像に対応する背景画像の配信要求として見本画像自体を指定可能にする構成等としてもよい。また、メニュー項目やボタン画像や見本画像自体等、適宜の設置箇所や設置方式で指定可能な詳細提示要求を設置し、画像提供処理部１１が、テレビ電話装置２ａから受信する詳細提示要求の受付に応じて、見本画像に対応する背景画像或いは見本画像より詳細な背景画像に対応する画像を提示する構成とし、更には詳細提示要求に対応する画面中に配信要求を設置する構成等としてもよい。又、見本画像の指定入力に応じ、見本画像に付加されている関連情報が復号化して再生されるものとしてもよい。

そして、テレビ電話装置２ａの画像表示部２４に背景画像選択画面等が表示された状態でユーザーＡが見本画像を閲覧し、ユーザーＡが所望の見本画像に対応する背景画像の配信要求を指定入力すると、テレビ電話装置２ａの制御部２１は、前記指定入力に応じて前記背景画像の配信要求を画像提供装置１に送信する（Ｓ１０３）。画像提供装置１の画像提供処理部１１は、受信する前記背景画像の配信要求を受け付け、前記受付に応じて前記配信要求に対応する背景画像若しくは前記配信要求に含まれる識別情報に対応する背景画像で後述する所定の関連情報が付加されている背景画像を合成用画像記憶部１４から抽出し、抽出した背景画像、或いは背景画像と付加されている所定の関連情報をダウンロードさせる等によりテレビ電話装置２ａに配信する（Ｓ１０４）。テレビ電話装置２ａは、前記背景画像等をダウンロードする等により受信し、制御部２１は、前記配信された背景画像、或いは背景画像と付加されている所定の関連情報を合成用画像記憶部２３に格納する（Ｓ１０５）。

前記画像提供装置１の合成用画像記憶部１４に格納され、配信される背景画像は、例えば街中や景勝地や旅先の風景画像で、風景画像中に登場する店舗、商品、動植物、人物、観光対象など所定の対象画像に、その対象の内容に関する説明、或いは対象の内容の詳細な説明若しくは購買等をする所定の情報提供装置のＵＲＬ等の通信接続先情報、或いは観光先である風景画像の内容の詳細な説明をする若しくは風景画像による観光先の予約が可能な所定の情報提供装置のＵＲＬ等の通信接続先情報、或いは対象が生ずる言葉等の対象関連情報が所定の関連情報として埋め込まれて付加されているものとし、例えばテレビ電話装置２ａから合成画像として背景画像を受信するテレビ電話装置２ｂの制御部２１が、所定のプログラムと協働し、所望の対象画像に対するポインタ等による指定に応じて、或いは自動的に、対象関連情報を背景画像中或いは背景画像の欄外に表示させることが可能なものとする構成、必要に応じて通信接続先情報による接続先へアクセスする構成、又は、画像中に対象関連情報が明示されている背景画像とする構成等とすることが可能である。

その後、ユーザーＡのテレビ電話装置２ａが通信ネットワーク５を介してユーザーＢのテレビ電話装置２ｂと接続を確立し双方向に情報伝達する場合に、ユーザーＡが入力部２５から合成画像生成モードの実行指令、及び合成用画像記憶部２３に格納されている背景画像から合成画像の生成で使用する背景画像の指定を入力すると（Ｓ１０６）、テレビ電話装置２ａの制御部２１は、所定のプログラムと協働して、撮像部２６から取り込む撮像画像から合成対象画像として例えばユーザーＡだけの画像を背景差分やフレーム間差分等の処理で分離して取得すると共に、合成用画像記憶部２３から指定された背景画像を抽出し、前記背景画像をユーザーＡの合成対象画像の背景画像として一体的に合成して合成画像を生成し、生成した合成画像をユーザーＢのテレビ電話装置２ｂに送信する（Ｓ１０７）。尚、撮像画像から合成対象画像を分離する構成や合成対象画像に背景画像を合成する構成は適宜である。

ユーザーＢのテレビ電話装置２ｂは、ユーザーＡのテレビ電話装置２ａから合成画像を受信し、ユーザーＢのテレビ電話装置２ｂの制御部２１は、所定のプログラムと協働し、受信した合成画像を画像表示部２４に表示する。そして、例えば合成画像で合成されている背景画像が、欄外に背景画像に関する説明や画像提供装置１のＵＲＬ等の通信接続先情報を有し、且つ背景画像中に現れる所定の店舗等の対象に対象関連情報が埋め込まれ表示可能に付加されているものである場合、画像表示部２４には、前記合成画像と共に欄外に背景画像に関する説明や画像提供装置１の通信接続先情報が表示され、更に、ユーザーＢの興味を引く店舗等の対象があった際に、入力部２６から店舗画像等の対象画像のポインタ等による指定入力に応じ、テレビ電話装置２ｂの制御部２１は、所定のプログラムと協働し、表示可能に付加されている店舗関連情報等の対象関連情報を吹き出し等の形式で対象の近傍等に表示し（Ｓ１０８）、又、ユーザーＢが合成画像で用いられている背景画像等の背景画像やそのコンテンツに興味を持った場合には、通信接続先情報の指定入力に応じ、テレビ電話装置２ｂの制御部２１は、所定のプログラムと協働し、マルチアクセス機能等により画像提供装置１と接続し、受信する背景画像選択画面等や当該背景画像の配信画面等の所定画面等を合成画像と共に分割画面等で画像表示部２４に表示し、必要に応じて画像提供装置１からテレビ電話装置２ａと同様の手順で背景画像の配信を受けて取得する（Ｓ１０９）。

次に、上記構成で画像提供装置が実行する第２実施例の画像提供の流れについて説明する。尚、第２実施例は第１実施例と組み合わせて構成とすることも可能である。図５は本実施形態による第２実施例の画像提供の流れを示すフローチャートであり、第２実施例は画像提供装置１がテレビ電話装置２ａに対し、合成用画像として全体画像中の部分的な画像である対象画像を配信する場合である。前記対象画像は、静止画像若しくは動画像とすることが可能である。

尚、前記通信接続先情報を複製して記憶可能なものとし、例えばテレビ電話装置２ａから合成画像として対象画像を受信するテレビ電話装置２ｂの制御部２１が、通信接続先情報に対するポインタ等による指定及び記憶要求に応じて、所定のメモリに通信接続先情報を一旦記憶し、その後に読出入力や接続要求に応じ、通信接続先情報を読み出して画像提供装置１と接続する構成等とすることも可能である。更に、前記対象画像は、静止画像に限定されず動画像とすることが可能であり、又、所定プログラムに応じて動作する動作可能な画像や移動可能な画像も含まれる。前記動作可能な画像の動作や移動可能な画像の移動する場合、テレビ電話装置２ａ、２ｂの制御部２１が所定のプログラムと協働し、例えば入力される若しくは受信する所定要求に応じて、所定の動作や移動を生成する所定の制御指令を実行し若しくは他のテレビ電話装置２ｂ、２ａに送信する構成や、入力される若しくは受信する音声データから所定要求を認識し、その所定要求に応じて所定の動作や移動を生成する所定の制御指令を実行し若しくは他のテレビ電話装置２ｂ、２ａに送信する構成等とすることが可能である。
