Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an information processing terminal, an electronic mail system, an electronic mail processing method, and a program.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An e-mail service using a personal computer, a mobile phone, or the like has increased in the number of subscribers, and has become an important communication means and information exchange means. On the other hand, so-called unsolicited email, in which a specific trader sends an email to an unspecified number of users for the purpose of solicitation or advertisement, has become a social problem.
[0003]
When sending such unsolicited e-mails, a large number of destination addresses may be created by automatically changing the combination of characters using a computer or the like. In this case, the e-mail transmission operation is repeatedly performed regardless of whether the destination address is an actual e-mail address. Then, when a valid destination address is found, by registering the address, the processing amount in the next e-mail transmission operation is reduced, and the processing time is shortened.
In addition, an e-mail address leaked as personal information and collected in a list may be used illegally as a destination address of unsolicited e-mail.
In this way, the user who has once received the unsolicited e-mail receives unnecessary e-mails many times thereafter.
[0004]
Several measures can be considered to prevent receiving the unsolicited e-mail.
For example, as a countermeasure on the receiving user side, the sender address of the spam mail is registered as a call rejection address in a terminal such as a mobile phone so that an e-mail whose sender address matches the call rejection address is not received. is there. Conversely, there may be a case where an e-mail having an address not registered in the terminal as a sender address is not received. In these systems, in addition to registering an individual e-mail address, a domain name can be registered and an incoming e-mail from a sender address including the domain name can be rejected or received.
[0005]
In addition, as a countermeasure on the user side, there is a case where the user does not receive unsolicited e-mail by changing his / her own e-mail address. At this time, measures are taken such as using special characters other than commonly used characters (for example, alphabetic characters and numbers), and configuring an e-mail address using a long character string.
[0006]
On the other hand, as a countermeasure on the server side, for an e-mail sent to a large number of users all at once, an e-mail containing a large number of unknown destination addresses is detected and the transmission is blocked (blocked). There is.
[0007]
Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-257712 discloses a technique related to the handling of an e-mail, in which an e-mail having predetermined contents such as source information of the e-mail, creation date / time information, file size, a partial character string of the body, etc. There is disclosed a technique for prohibiting transmission of a message on the server side.
[0008]
Also, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-232304 discloses a method of creating a word dictionary in which words belonging to a specific idea and words capable of recalling the idea are created, and transmitting an attached file containing many words registered in the word dictionary. There is disclosed a technique for rejecting or warning display of an e-mail containing many words registered in a word dictionary.
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The sender address of the electronic mail can be easily rewritten by the sender, and a false address is often set as the sender address. For this reason, there is a possibility that a countermeasure for registering the sender address of the unsolicited mail as a call rejection address to prevent the unsolicited mail from being received may be easily avoided on the sender side. Also, if you register a domain name and reject incoming e-mails from the sender address containing the domain name, you will not be able to collectively receive e-mails from the same domain that should not be rejected. Problem.
[0010]
In order for a user to change his / her own e-mail address, various procedures are required, and even after the change is completed, a lot of trouble is required, such as notifying another user of the change. For this reason, many users do not want to change their email address.
Also, even if the e-mail address is configured using special characters or long character strings, once it is recognized as a valid address by the sender of the spam mail and it is registered as a list, it will be the normal case Similarly, the user receives unnecessary junk mail many times. Further, in this case, the e-mail address is complicated and difficult to remember, and thus it is difficult for the user to use.
[0011]
Once the destination address recognized by the sender as a valid e-mail address is registered, the number of e-mails whose destination is unknown is reduced. Therefore, even if the server detects an e-mail including many unknown destinations, it is not possible to effectively block the transmission of unsolicited e-mail.
[0012]
Also, in a mail distribution service represented by a normal mailing list (ML), an electronic mail may be transmitted to a large number of users at once. At this time, many users may have changed their e-mail addresses as a measure to prevent receiving unsolicited e-mail. In such a case, even an e-mail sent on a legitimate mailing list includes many unknown destinations, and the transmission of the e-mail is blocked. Therefore, appropriate information exchange is hindered.
[0013]
Further, when an electronic mail address listed based on the leaked personal information is illegally used, it is difficult for the server to determine whether the electronic mail address is an e-mail other than a junk mail.
[0014]
According to the technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-257712, the creation date can be easily rewritten by the sender, and the junk mail may not be properly detected. Also, if the file size is blocked, the sending and browsing of emails with the same file size are restricted by chance.
[0015]
According to the technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. H11-232304, transmission of an attached file containing many words registered in the word dictionary is uniformly refused, and an electronic mail containing many words registered in the word dictionary is rejected. The display is uniformly rejected or warned. For this reason, even if it is an e-mail other than unsolicited e-mail, if it happens to include many words registered in the word dictionary, such processing will be performed, causing confusion to the user and an important e-mail May be rejected. Furthermore, registering a word that matches a particular idea in a word dictionary largely depends on the intuition and experience of the user, and it is difficult to create and edit an appropriate word dictionary.
[0016]

Here, when it is determined that there is no junk box (No in step S5), the mail data processing unit 15 deletes the electronic mail notified as unsolicited mail from the mail data storage unit 11 (step S6). .
[0051]
On the other hand, when it is determined that a junk box exists (Yes in step S5), the mail data processing unit 15 changes the storage location of the e-mail notified as the junk mail and moves the e-mail to the junk box (step S7). . Here, when the number or volume of unsolicited emails stored in the junk box exceeds a predetermined reference value, older junk emails may be deleted in order.
[0052]
When a new e-mail is deleted as junk mail or moved to a junk box, the user may not be notified that there is a new e-mail. Alternatively, an image or sound for notifying that the newly arrived e-mail is unsolicited e-mail may be output.
In this way, it is possible to appropriately detect unsolicited mail based on the link destination set in the received e-mail message, and to take action as unsolicited mail.

[0059]
In a spam mail sent by a specific trader to an unspecified number of users for the purpose of solicitation or advertisement, a specific Web page or the like is often set as a link destination in the message.
Therefore, in the
[0060]
Recently, various malicious methods are used to ensure that spam is delivered to as many users as possible.
For example, the sender address may be set to the user's own e-mail address or may be set to the service center's e-mail address. In such a case, even if the user registers a specific sender address as a call rejection address, the user will receive unsolicited e-mail together with ordinary e-mail.
In contrast, the
[0061]
Unwanted e-mails are sent as a large number of e-mails with only the subject changed or the head of the message text changed slightly to bypass the transmission restrictions imposed on the content and subject of the e-mail on the server side. Sometimes. Such an operation also has the effect of giving the user the impression that a plurality of e-mails with different contents have arrived.
On the other hand, in the
[0062]
An Internet address for providing a specific service by a company that sends unsolicited e-mail may be set as a different address depending on a difference in service content. However, domain names are often the same or very similar.
Therefore, in the
[0063]
In addition, in the case of detecting unsolicited mail using a word dictionary, the user cannot easily know what words should be registered to reliably detect unsolicited mail. Therefore, whether or not unsolicited junk mail unnecessary for each user can be reliably detected largely depends on the intuition and experience of the user.
On the other hand, in the
[0064]
In the method of detecting junk mail based on the sender's address, if a non-junk e-mail is accidentally sent with an e-mail address containing the same domain name as the sender's address, the e-mail is regarded as junk mail It may be detected by mistake. In the method of detecting unsolicited mail based on the contents of the message text, if a large number of words that resemble the unsolicited mail are accidentally used, the electronic mail may be erroneously detected as unsolicited mail.
On the other hand, the
[0065]
As described above, according to the present invention, spam is detected based on a link set in a received e-mail message, and the detected e-mail is treated as spam. Apply.
This makes it possible to handle spam mail easily and appropriately.
[0066]
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications and applications are possible.
In the above embodiment, the description has been made assuming that the link
Alternatively, a part of the character string included in the domain name may be registered, and an e-mail whose link destination including the character string is set in the message may be detected as spam. As a result, it is possible to increase the possibility that more spam can be detected with a simple registration.
[0067]
In the above embodiment, the description has been made assuming that the Web page is set as the link destination, but the present invention is not limited to this. That is, the link destination (image file, video file, audio file, text file, telephone number, FAX number, e-mail address, etc.) other than the Web page is also stored in a predetermined list in the file name, telephone number, FAX number, e-mail address. An address or the like may be registered, and an e-mail in which a link corresponding to the registered link information is set may be detected as spam.

[0072]
The present invention can be realized using a normal computer or a group of computers without using a dedicated device. That is, all or a part of the operation program necessary for causing a computer or a group of computers to function as the above-described e-mail system or to execute the above-described processing is transferred to a recording medium (IC memory, magnetic disk, optical disk, magneto-optical disk). , Magnetic tape, etc.) for distribution and distribution. Further, the operation program may be stored in a file system of an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) server or the like on the Internet and downloaded to a computer, for example, by superimposing it on a carrier wave.
