f(φ、ωod)は次式で表される。
【0006】
【0007】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a toroidal type continuously variable transmission (hereinafter, referred to as TCVT) provided with a state observer.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a conventional technique for estimating the trunnion displacement of a TCVT using a state observer, there is a technique described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-270772. The state observer described in this publication receives a command value (the number of steps of a step motor) of a shift actuator and a tilt angle φ as inputs and estimates a trunnion axial displacement y. In the related art, the TCVT to be estimated is modeled as in the following equation.
[0003]
Equation (1)
[0004]
(Equation 2)
[0005]
Where a1, A2, B are constants determined by the shape of TCVT, f (φ, ωod) Is φ and ωodAnd g is the valve gain of the shift control valve. f (φ, ωod) Is represented by the following equation.
[0006]
Equation (2)
[0007]
Where η, θ, cfIs a constant determined by the TCVT structure, ωodIs the output disk rotation speed of TCVT. For this TCVT, the state observer is as follows.

[0011]
Equation (4)
[0012]
Where ω0Is a positive constant that determines the speed at which the estimated value f converges to the true value x.
[0013]
Then, the tilt angle φ is set to the target value φ.*The controller performs the following control law, and calculates a displacement command value to the shift actuator in accordance with the target value, the tilt angle, and the estimated value of the trunnion.

[0017]
Where KPIs the proportional gain of the PID controller, KIIs the integral gain of the PID controller, s is the Laplace operator, KDIs the differential gain of the PID controller.
[0018]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Equation (2) is subtracted from equation (1) on both sides to obtain a true value x and an estimated value xtAnd the estimation error e0= XxtThen, the following equation is obtained.
[0019]
Equation (7)
[0020]
This equation (7) is an equation showing the dynamic characteristic of the estimation error. The transition matrix of this equation (A0-H0C0) Is represented by the following equation.
[0021]
Equation (8)
[0022]
From equation (8) and equation (4), (A0-H0C0) Yields (−ω0, -Ω0).
[0023]
However, in the state observer described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 8-270772, the transition matrix shown in Expression (8) is based on the tilt angle φ and the TCVT output disk rotation speed ω.odIt changes according to. This indicates that the time response of the deviation between the estimated trunnion displacement value and the actual trunnion displacement is a non-linear characteristic that does not decay exponentially. For this reason, it is difficult to design a theoretically supported controller in accordance with the time response of the deviation.
[0024]
As a result, in order to achieve the desired control performance, it is necessary to repeat computer simulations and experiments to adjust the parameters of the controller, which requires a long development time and cost. That is, there is a problem that it is difficult to design a control device that is theoretically supported in a short period of time.
[0025]
Further, when a step motor is used for the speed change actuator, the step motor does not operate according to the command value, and a phenomenon called step-out may occur in which a difference between the step number command value and the actual step number remains steadily. This shift is caused by the steady disturbance d of the input u of the state observer.uIt expresses. The TCVT model obtained by adding this disturbance to the equation (1) is expressed by the following equation.
[0026]
Equation (9)
[0027]
By subtracting equation (3) from equation (9), the following error equation is obtained.
[0028]
Equation (10)
[0029]
It is assumed that the error equation shown in equation (10) is stable. At this time, the estimation error e0Steady-state value e00Is the differential value e ′ in equation (10).0= 0 and expressed by the following equation.
[0030]
[Equation 14]
[0031]
As described above, when a step-out occurs, a steady-state error remains in the estimated value. In order to constantly make the number of steps of the step motor coincide with the command value, there is a method of detecting the displacement output by the step motor using a sensor or the like, but this leads to an increase in cost. There is also a method of performing initialization by moving the step motor to the reference position as appropriate. Due to the restriction that initialization cannot be performed during traveling, initialization cannot always be performed at an appropriate time. That is, there is a problem that it is difficult to match the actual step number of the step motor with the command value at low cost.
[0032]
In view of such a problem, an object of the present invention is to provide a TCVT including a state observer with a small control error.
[0033]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a state observer for estimating a trunnion axial direction displacement based on a state equation of a continuously variable transmission that receives a command value of a shift actuator and outputs a tilt angle or a gear ratio, and a trunnion axial direction. In a toroidal-type continuously variable transmission including a command value calculator that calculates a command value of a shift actuator based on a displacement estimated value, the state observer includes a tilt angle detection unit that detects a tilt angle, and a trunnion shaft. Integrated value calculating means for integrating the reciprocal of the component depending on the tilt angle up to the tilt angle at the current time among the sensitivity to the tilt angular velocity with respect to the directional displacement, and using the calculated integrated value to calculate Conversion is performed so that the transition matrix of the state equation of the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission becomes a constant matrix.
[0034]
In a second aspect based on the first aspect, the shift actuator command value is a shift actuator displacement, and the state observer includes: a rotation speed detecting unit that detects a rotation speed of the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission; The component f of the sensitivity to the tilt angular velocity with respect to the axial displacement that depends on the rotation speed of the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission1F to calculate1Calculating means, and a component f proportional to the integral value and dependent on the rotational speed of the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission.1A new state quantity calculating means for calculating a new state quantity inversely proportional to the input, the new state quantity, the displacement command value of the shift actuator and the rotational speed of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission, and a new state quantity estimated value and trunnion displacement And a state observation filter means for outputting an estimated value.
[0035]
In a third aspect based on the first aspect, the speed change actuator command value is a speed change actuator drive speed command value, and the state observer detects or estimates the speed of the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission. Of the detecting means and the sensitivity to the tilt angular velocity with respect to the trunnion axial displacement, the component f depending on the rotational speed of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission.1F to calculate1Calculating means, and a component f proportional to the integral value and dependent on the rotational speed of the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission.1A new state quantity calculating means for calculating a new state quantity which is inversely proportional to the input, the new state quantity, the drive speed command value of the shift actuator and the rotational speed of the toroidal type continuously variable transmission, and a new state quantity estimated value and trunnion A state observation filter means for outputting the displacement estimation value and the shift actuator displacement estimation value;
[0036]
In a fourth aspect based on any one of the first to third aspects, the state observer has a differentiating means for calculating a time differential value of the rotation speed of the toroidal-type continuously variable transmission, The filter output value of the filter means is corrected by this differential value.
[0037]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the third or fourth aspect, there is provided a drive state determining means for determining the drive state of the shift actuator by comparing the integrated value of the shift actuator drive speed command value and the shift actuator displacement estimated value. .
[0038]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the state observer integrates a tilt angle dependent component of the tilt angle detecting means and the tilt angle velocity to the trunnion displacement up to the current time tilt angle. And an integrated value calculating means. The integrated value is used to form a transition matrix of the TCVT state equation based on a state equation converted so as to be a constant matrix. Since it is theoretically proved that the error decreases exponentially, computer simulations and experiments performed when designing the control device are reduced, and development time and cost can be reduced.
[0039]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the shift actuator command value is a shift actuator displacement, the state observer detects a rotational speed of the TCVT or estimates a rotational speed, and tilts with respect to a trunnion axial displacement. Of the sensitivity to angular velocity, a component f that depends on the rotation speed of TCVT1F to calculate1Calculating means, and a component f proportional to the integral value and dependent on the rotational speed of the TCVT1A new state quantity calculating means for calculating a new state quantity that is inversely proportional to the above, and inputting the new state quantity, the displacement command value of the speed change actuator and the rotation speed of the TCVT, and outputting a new state quantity estimated value and a trunnion displacement estimated value. Since the configuration includes the state observation filter means, a part of the conventional control law that outputs the shift actuator position as a command value in accordance with the deviation between the target value and the tilt angle can be used as it is. In addition, the fact that the estimation error of the trunnion displacement attenuates exponentially with a constant time constant is theoretically supported, so that the control device can be more easily designed. Further, since the state observation filter has no direct term from the input to the output, the filter from the input to the output has a low-pass filter characteristic, and also has a performance of removing high-frequency detection noise included in the tilt angle.
[0040]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the shift actuator command value is a shift actuator drive speed command value, and the state observer is configured to detect or estimate the number of rotations of the TCVT; Among the sensitivity to the tilting angular velocity with respect to the rotational speed of the TCVT, the component f1F to calculate1Calculating means, and a component f proportional to the integral value and dependent on the rotational speed of the TCVT1A new state quantity calculating means for calculating a new state quantity which is inversely proportional to the input, the new state quantity, the drive speed command value of the speed change actuator and the number of revolutions of the TCVT, And a state observation filter means for outputting an actuator displacement estimation value, so that all deviations of the estimation value converge to zero irrespective of the presence or absence of step-out, thereby providing a sensor for detecting the number of steps. Can be prevented from increasing the cost due to the addition, and the number of steps need not be initialized. Also, since the state observation filter has no direct term, it also has a feature of removing high frequency detection noise included in the tilt angle.
[0041]
According to the invention of claim 4, the state observer has a differentiating means for calculating a time differential value of the rotation speed of the TCVT, and corrects a filter output value of the state observing filter means with a differential value. The estimation accuracy of the state observer in the shift transient state is improved.
[0042]
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the TCVT includes a drive state determining means for determining the drive state of the shift actuator by comparing the integrated value of the shift actuator drive speed command value and the shift actuator displacement estimated value. It can be determined that the step motor is not driven according to the drive command value, and can be used for determining a motor failure or the like.
