記憶されているので、オペレータは好ましくは周期的に、方程式の妥当性を確証
するため、分類決定をするために使用される数学的方程式を再評価する（ブロッ

を観察することができ、２組のモデル有効化プロセスを適用することができる。

ジは、ドメイン・エキスパートに与えられた信頼性の全体のレベル、およびどの
種類の誤りがより受容できるか、偽陽性か、または偽陰性であるかによる。ネッ
トワーク・オペレータが、顧客に料金を請求するために、ウェブサイトとのユー
ザ対話を監視するような上述の例において、偽陽性は、公正なサイト利用統計の
過少報告、すなわち慎重すぎて誤るという結果を生じるので、偽陽性は相対的に
受容できる。偽陰性は、無効な対話で“汚染されて”いたデータに関する報告に
つながるので、許容できるものではない。
【００４９】 ここに記述されているように、有効と考えられる統計学的モデルは、一般的に
０．２５％の近く（０．１６％乃至０．６０％の範囲）での偽陰性のパーセンテ
ージを有し、および偽陽性のパーセンテージを２．５０％乃至７．５０％の範囲
に有する。当業者は、許容できる分類の誤り率は、対時間的効率の良い決定に対
する必要性に対する、信頼性ならびに正確性に対する事業の必要性とともに変化
することを理解するであろう。ある分野、例えばガン診断において、分類の誤り

ながら、他の分野においては、より高い分類誤り率が受容される。事業領域にお
いて、通常の受容できる分類誤り率は、上述されており、例えば、低い偽陰性率
および通常の偽陽性率を有する。同様に、当業者は、受容できる分類誤り率は、
ツールおよび利用可能なドメイン・エキスパートの関数でもあることを理解する
であろう。

    る方法であって： ネットワーク上のユーザ対話からデータを収集するステップであって、前記デ
    ータは、前記推定されたユーザに関する総計尺度データおよび固有特性データを
    含むことを特徴とするステップと； データベースに前記データを記憶するステップと； 前記ネットワークとの非合法な対話を識別するために、前記総計尺度および固
    有特性データで予測モデルを構築するステップと；および 前記予測モデルを用いて、前記データベースにおける前記非合法な対話を識別
    するステップと を具備することを特徴とする方法。
  2. 【請求項２】 少なくとも一つの確率的（probabilistic）アプローチから
    導き出される対話の数学的モデルを適用し； 少なくとも一つの推計学的（stochastic）アプローチに基づいて、対話の数学
    的モデルを適用し；および 推計学的および確率的数学的方程式を用いて、前記対話の合法性を決定する ステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項１に記載の方法。
