Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an information communication terminal connected to the Internet network for controlling the operation of image pickup means provided in a LAN via the Internet network. It is about how to do it. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there have been the following methods for controlling the operation of image pickup means provided in a LAN from an information communication terminal connected to the Internet network via the Internet network. [0003] As shown in FIG.
There is a method of allocating a global IP address to the Internet and accessing the image capturing means 4002 directly from the Internet network 4003 to control the operation. The Internet connection means 4001 and the image pickup means 4002 are connected to a network via a LAN, and a global IP address is assigned to the image pickup means 4002 from the Internet service provider when the Internet connection is made. The external information communication terminal 4004 first accesses the global IP address, and
Operation control. Next, the execution result of the operation control is received and displayed on the Internet browsing software. [0004] Further, as shown in FIG.
002, a server device 5005 for communicating with the image capturing means 5002 is provided on the Internet network 5003, and the information communication terminal 500
4 makes an operation control request of the image capturing unit 5002 by accessing the server device 5005, and the server device 5005 receiving the operation control request issues an operation control request to the image capturing unit 6002 to make an image control unit. There was a method of performing the operation control of 5002. That is, the server device 5005 mediates the communication between the information communication terminal 5004 and the image capturing unit 5002 so that the information communication terminal 5004
From the server device 500, and then the server device 500
5 transmits an operation control request signal to the image capturing unit 5002. When the server device 5005 receives the execution result of the operation control, the server device 5005 transmits the data of the execution result to the information communication terminal 5004. [0005] However, the conventional example has the following problems. When it is necessary to allocate a global IP address to the image capturing means, and in order to directly access the image capturing means, to construct a network in a LAN and open a server device such as a Web server or a mail server to the outside, A global IP address is also required for a server device that is open to the outside. For this reason, when making a contract with an Internet service provider, a contract for obtaining a plurality of global IP addresses is required, which increases costs. Further, since a plurality of global IP addresses are occupied, the problem of IP address exhaustion develops. Further, a server device for allocating a global IP address to the image pickup means and communicating with the image pickup means is provided on the Internet network, and the information communication terminal accesses the server apparatus to access the image pickup means. The server device that has made the operation control request of (1), and has received the operation control request, makes an operation control request to the image pickup means and controls the operation of the image pickup means. There is a problem that the communication speed of other users may be reduced due to pressure on communication of other users. Therefore, the object of the present invention is to
A method for controlling the operation of image pickup means provided in a LAN to which only one global IP address is allocated from an information communication terminal connected to the Internet network via the Internet network at a low cost. LAN
It is an object of the present invention to provide a method in which a network can be constructed in a network and various server devices can be opened to the outside, so that traffic on the network does not increase. [0008] In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, a server device having at least one network interface, an image pickup means (camera), and an Internet connection means are provided. And L
In a LAN that is network-connected by an AN and can be connected to the Internet via Internet connection means, network devices such as the server device, image pickup means, and Internet connection means provided in the LAN are operated by private IP addresses, At the time of connection, a global IP address is allocated by an Internet service provider to a network interface on the public line network provided in the Internet connection means, and an external information communication terminal equipped with Internet browsing software which can be connected to and communicate with the Internet network. A method for controlling the operation of said image capturing means via an Internet network, wherein said server apparatus receives an operation control request signal of said image capturing means from said information communication terminal. Server device is obtained by providing a method of controlling the operation of the image pickup means as characterized by controlling the operation of the image pickup means by executing the operation control program stored in the image pickup means. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a diagram schematically showing the method of the present invention. 1001 denotes an Internet connection unit, 1002 denotes an image pickup unit, 1003 denotes a server device, 1004 denotes an information communication terminal, and 1005 denotes an Internet network. The Internet connection means 1001, the image pickup means 1002, and the server device 1003 are each provided with at least one network interface, and these devices are connected to each other via a LAN to form a LAN. The Internet connection means has two interfaces: a network interface on the LAN side and a network interface on the public line network (Internet network side). The LAN is operated with a private IP address. The Internet connection means 1001 can connect to the Internet network, and uses, for example, a dial-up device. At the time of Internet connection, a global IP address is allocated to the Internet connection means 1001 from the Internet service provider, and devices provided on the LAN communicate with the Internet network via the Internet connection means 1001. Here, the global IP address is a number for identifying a specific computer on the Internet (TCP / IP network), and is transmitted from a general Internet service provider (hereinafter referred to as ISP) using a telephone line. Is assigned a global IP address owned by the ISP. Generally, 32 bits divided into four decimal numbers
IPv4 (Internet Protocol version 4), which is expressed as (210.152.10.59) or the like, is mainly used. A private IP address is an IP address that can be freely used as a LAN network address. 32 bits divided into the preceding four decimal numbers
(10.xxx) (172.16.xx to 172.31.x.
x) (192.168.xx). At the beginning of the Internet, global IP addresses were assigned to all computer devices connected to the Internet network. However, as the Internet rapidly spread, there was a danger that this IP address would be depleted. Therefore, if a computer network is used in a local environment, it can be used only in that local environment.
A method of using an IP address and assigning a global IP address to the Internet connection means only when accessing the Internet network is used. In FIG. 1, when the operation of the image capturing means 1002 in the LAN is controlled from the Internet browsing software mounted on the information communication terminal 1004, an operation control request signal is first sent from the information communication terminal 1004 to the Internet connection means 1001. Send to. The Internet connection unit 1001 that has received the signal data transfers the signal data to the server device 1003 connected to the signal data network. As shown in FIG. 2, the server device 1003 has an operation control execution program for controlling the operation of the image pickup means and an HTML source creation program.
The image capturing means 1002 has an operation control program. The operation control program is a program for moving the image capturing direction of the image capturing unit up, down, left, and right, and capturing an image. Next, the server device 1003 executes the operation control execution program and transmits predetermined execution command data to the image pickup means 1002. The image capturing unit 1002 that has received the execution command data executes the operation control program and performs the operation included in the execution command data. For example, when command data for moving the image capturing direction to the right is included, the image capturing direction is moved to the right according to the command data. After executing the operation control program, the image capturing unit 1002
Transmits the execution result data to the server device 1003. Upon receiving the execution result data, the server device 1003 executes the HTML source creation program, obtains desired data from the result data, and obtains a predetermined HTML.
The generated HTML source data is dynamically reflected on the source and transmitted to the Internet connection means 1001. The H
The Internet connection unit 1001 that has received the TML source data transmits the HTML source data to the information communication terminal 1004 that has transmitted the operation control request data first. By receiving the HTML source data, the information communication terminal 1002 can display the data with the Internet browsing software. As shown in FIG. 3, another server device 3006 can be provided in the LAN, and the server device can be opened to the Internet. In this embodiment, the Internet connection means and the server device have been described as separate device devices.
The server device has an Internet connection function, performs NAT (network address translation) and packet filter settings by software, and assigns a global IP address to the server device.
N may be configured. Also in this case, only one global IP address may be provided in the LAN, and a server device having a function different from that of the server device can be opened to the Internet. As described above, if one global IP address is assigned to the LAN side, the operation of the image pickup means 1002 can be controlled from the information communication terminal 1004, and a system can be constructed under a normal Internet service provider contract. It is possible to provide another server device in the LAN and open it to the Internet. Further, since the operation control request data is transmitted from the information communication terminal 1004 to the Internet connection means on the LAN side, the data transmission / reception path can be shortened as compared with the case shown in FIG. Can be reduced. As described above, according to the present invention, an image provided in a LAN to which only one global IP address is allocated from an information communication terminal connected to the Internet network via the Internet network. It is possible to provide a method for controlling the operation of the image pickup means at low cost, and it is also possible to construct a network in the LAN and open various server devices to the outside, so that traffic on the network does not increase. A method can be provided.
