日に至って居るのが現状と云えよう。然うして、前述せ
るペレット化の為の所謂、再生装置は既に相当以前よ
り、既述した如きメカニズムのものを基本とした、同種
装置の幾種類かが之の種業界や或いは又、関係マーケッ
ト等に出回って居るのを、屡、見受ける処では在る。が
然し、之等、既述せる如きペレット再生装置の総てのも
のに在っては、凡そ、次に述べる如き基本的な技術背景
の下に設計製作されたものと断定し得るのである。

即ち、 .先ず以って、斯かるペレット再生装置の総てが、大
容量のランナー処理に対応すべく、極めて大型化して居
ると云う事実である。之の事は、大容量のランナーや若
しくは数種類又はそれ以上に及ぶ、多種類のランナー処
理に対応すべき設計意図の下に製造されたものである事
は明白であり、為に、其の設置面積(設置の為の床面
積)たるや極めて過大なものと成るは、最早、必然的と
云えよう。 .項に関連し当然の事乍ら、其の構成メカも複雑多
岐に亘り、例えばホット・スクリュープレスより、連続
的に送出される混練状ストランドを、態々、大掛りなド
ラムに倦回せしめるのであるが、其の捲回過程に於て、
圧縮エアー等の強力なエアーブロー等に依って、混練状
ストランドを急速に冷却固化せしめるを常套手段として
今日に至って居るので在った。斯かる構成手段より、工
場内に於ける設置床面積は、最早、云う迄も無く、過大
極まりないものが在ったのである。 .更には亦、項のエアーブローに代え、之亦、大掛
かりなウォーター・タブをホット・スクリュープレスに
近接して設け、該、ホット・スクリュープレスより、連
続的に送出される混練状ストランドを、直ちに水中に没
入させて急速冷却せしめると云うものである。斯かる方
法を採る場合に在っても、之に付随せる乾燥装置を設置
しなければ成らず、益々、以って、設置床面積の増大を
迫られるに至ると云うものである。 .上述せる項〜項に依り、其の構成形態も必然的
に大型化し所謂、重厚長大化する一方、其の価格面に於
ても、何と、1台当たり数百万円にも垂んとする、高価
にして、然も、量嵩極まりない問題の設備機器の1つと
して、存在すると云う代物でも在ったのである。 .一方、処理上の生産面に於ては、連続して流出する
混練状ストランドを、一刻も速く冷却固化せんが為、上
述せる諸々のエレメント類は云うに及ばず、複雑なる迂
回コースを幾通りも設ける等々、為に、その生産性は極
めて低く、然も、原料樹脂の種類毎に、之等の処理仕様

場に於ても之が大きな負担と成って居たので在った。 .更に、これが延いては、合成樹脂成型加工作業に於
て、例えば色替えを行ない且つ多種多様に亘る合成樹脂
原料毎の、夫々のランナーペレット再生化を進めなけれ
ば成らない条件下に置かれて居るにも不抱らず、其の合
理化が中々、具体化成し得なかった遠因の一つとも断言
し得るものである。以上、縷縷、詳述せる如く、在来公
知例の技術に基づいた「合成樹脂原料ペレット再生装
置」に在っては、現在、存在する成型工場等の諸々の条
件には、最早、到底、マッチし得ないと云った根本的且
つ重大なる問題が横たわった儘、現在に至って居ると云
えよう。

た。即ち、前項に於ても、縷縷、触れた所であるが、現
在、一般に見られる此の種「合成樹脂原料ペレット再生
装置」に在っては、総じて、極めて単純なる発想とマン
ネリ化した設計思想…等に依って、製作されたものと云
わざるを得ないので在る。即ち、既述せる通り、在来公
知の「合成樹脂原料ペレット再生装置」に在っては、ホ
ット・スクリュープレスより、連続的に送出されるスト
ランド其のものを、一刻も速やかに冷却固化せんが為、
クーリングエアーブローを行なったり、或いは亦、ウオ
ーターバス内への水没や果ては、複雑極まる迂回コース
等を、態々、大掛りな付属品として設置させ、兎に角、
有りと凡ゆる手段・方法を、ホット・スクリュープレス
周辺に設置しない限り、本件問題の解決は在り得ないと

いのである。即ち、既述せる如く近年、ランナー等の破

せる通り、其の目的とするペレットを再生加工する為の
ペレット成型装置其のものに、根本的な問題が存在する
と云った状況から其の課題として、次の点に的を絞り込
む事とした次第である。 .重厚長大型のマンネリパターンから、根本的に脱却
する事とす。 .項に則り、要は、メカ的にクーリング・タイムを
キープせしめれば良いと云った原理に着眼する。 .〜項に基づき、クーリング・タイム=クーリン
グ・レングスに置換した発想を採り入れる事とする。 .然うして、合成樹脂原料毎にクーリング・タイム=
クーリング・レングスに関する詳細なるデータ収集を行
う。 .上記項から項に依って、最もシンプルなメカの

たが、先ず在来公知技術に基づく「合成樹脂原料ペレッ
ト再生装置」に在っては、余りにも重厚長大、就中、長
大極まるもの(例えば、其の長さたるや何と、1.5メ
ートルにも達する位なり)で在ったのに対し、本発明装
置のメカ要素としては、単に、適当径にして且つ適当長
のバー(通称、丸棒鋼材)の先端部に、ガイド用フリー
