Abstract
源回路とランプ点灯用電源回路の2つの電源回路の小型
化と、回路構成の簡易化を実現する。 【解決手段】 内視鏡用電源装置を構成する制御回路用
電源回路2に、AC電源1の電圧を脈流波形の電圧に変換
するための整流回路11と、力率改善を行うアクティブフ
ィルタ12と、平滑化する平滑回路15と、制御回路の制御
電圧としての第1の電圧に変換する第1のDC/DCコ
ンバータ14を備える。他方のランプ点灯用電源回路3に
は、前記第1のDC/DCコンバータ14で変換された第
1の電圧の直流電圧をランプ5の点灯電圧である第2の
電圧に変換する第2のDC/DCコンバータ16を備え
る。AC電源ライン1aを1系統にすることが可能とな
り、かつ他方の電源回路3に整流回路と平滑回路を設け
る必要がなくなり回路の小型化が実現でき、また、制御
回路用電源回路2に設けられたアクティフ゛フィルタ12によりAC電
源ライン1aの高調波電流対策を行うことで、ランプ点灯
用電源回路3での高調波電流対策が不要となり、当該電
源回路の回路構成を簡略化することが可能となる。
Description
電源装置に関し、特に内視鏡内に設けられるアイリス制
御やビデオ処理回路等の制御回路用電源と、内視鏡ラン
プを点灯するためのランプ点灯用電源とを備える電源回
路に関するものである。

学系に設けられているアイリスや撮像素子を制御するこ
とで撮像を行っている。そのため、内視鏡の光源装置と
して、前記内視鏡ランプを点灯するためのランプ点灯用
電源と、前記アイリスの制御や撮像素子で撮像したビデ
オ信号を処理するための制御回路を駆動するための制御
回路用電源を備えることが必要である。図3は従来の内
視鏡の光源装置に設けられている電源回路の一例の回路
図である。同図において、制御回路用電源回路2Aとラ
ンプ点灯用電源回路3Aはそれぞれ共通のAC電源(商
用電源)1を入力としており、制御回路用電源回路2A
は定電圧電源としてシリーズドロッパ電源回路で構成さ
れ、ランプ点灯用電源回路3Aは定電流電源或いは定電
力電源としてスイッチング電源回路で構成されている。
C電源1の交流電圧を一次電圧として入力して電圧変換
した二次電圧を出力するトランス、例えば医療用絶縁ト
ランス21と、電圧変換された二次電圧を整流かつ平滑
して直流電圧とする整流・平滑回路22と、その直流電
圧の安定化を行う安定化電源23とで構成されており、
安定化電源23で安定化された電圧により内視鏡光学系
のアイリスや信号処理回路等を制御するための制御回路
4を駆動する。また、前記ランプ点灯用電源回路3A
は、AC電源1の交流電圧を整流する整流回路24と、
整流された交流電圧を直流電圧に平滑化する平滑回路2
5と、得られた直流電圧を電圧変換するためのDC/D
Cコンバータ26とを備えており、電圧変換された直流
電圧によって内視鏡ランプ5を点灯する。なお、前記整
流・平滑回路22は整流器31,チョークコイル32,
平滑コンデンサ33で構成され、前記平滑回路25は、
チョークコイル34と平滑コンデンサ35で構成され
る。前記DC/DCコンバータ26は、ここではスイッ
チング素子のスイッチングON/OFF比を制御して電
圧調節を行うスイッチング方式のものが使用されてい
る。
Aではシリーズドロッパ電源回路で構成されているが、
これは次の理由による。(1)シリーズドロッパ電源回
路はスイッチング方式に比較して安価に構成できる。
(2)アイリス制御やビデオ信号処理を行う回路はスイ
ッチング方式電源によるノイズを嫌う。(3)AC電源
ラインにおけるラインノイズ(EMCノイズ)の対策が
比較的に容易である。一方、従来のランプ点灯用電源回
路3Aでは、スイッチング電源回路が用いられるが、こ
れは、ランプのワット数が大きいため(キセノンランプ
の場合300W)、これに対応する電力の電源回路をシ
リーズドロッパ電源回路で構成すると、トランス容量が
大きくなり、電源回路がいたずらに大型化し、かつ放熱
対策も困難になることが理由である。
視鏡の電源装置では、制御回路用電源回路2Aとランプ
点灯用電源回路3Aを異なる方式の電源回路で構成して
いるため、電源装置全体としての回路規模が大きくな
り、小型の内視鏡の電源装置を構成することが困難にな
る。すなわち、電源回路2Aにはトランス21と整流・
平滑回路22が、また電源回路3Aにはそれぞれ整流回
路24、平滑回路25が設けられており、特に平滑回路
では消費電力に対応した容量のコンデンサや大型のチェ
ークコイル等が必要であるため、これらの部品による電
源回路の大型化は避けられない。また、制御回路用電源
回路2Aとランプ点灯用電源回路3Aのそれぞれに個別
のAC電源ライン1a,1bが設けられているため、前
記したEMCノイズの対策を各電源回路に設ける必要が
あり、電源回路の複雑化を生じる要因になっている。
装置における問題を解消し、小型でかつ回路構成を簡易
化した電源装置を提供するものである。

変換するための整流回路と、前記整流回路の出力電力の
力率改善を行うアクティブフィルタと、前記アクティブ
フィルタの出力を平滑化する平滑回路と、前記平滑化さ
れた直流電圧から所望の第1の直流電圧または所望の第
1の直流電圧群を生成する第1のDC/DCコンバータ
とを備え、他方の電源回路には、前記第1の直流電圧ま
たは前記第1の直流電圧群のうちの一つの電圧から所望
の第2の直流電圧または所望の第2の直流電圧群を生成
する第2のDC/DCコンバータとを備えることを特徴
とする。また、この場合、他方の電源回路に設けられる
第2のDC/DCコンバータは、前記一方の電源回路に
おいて平滑化された直流電圧を所望の第2の電圧に変換
する第2のDC/DCコンバータとして構成してもよ
い。
電源の交流電圧を直流電圧に平滑化した上で所望の第1
の直流電圧または第1の直流電圧群に変換し、また他方
の電源回路では前記平滑化された直流電圧を所望の第2
の直流電圧または第2の直流電圧群に変換し、これら第
1及び第2の直流電圧または直流電圧群によって制御回
路を駆動し、ランプを点灯することにより、商用電源ラ
インを1系統にすることが可能となり、かつ2つの電源
回路のそれぞれに整流回路と平滑回路を設ける必要がな
くなる。また、整流回路と平滑用コンデンサとの間にア
クティブフィルタを挿入して力率を向上するよう電流波
形を成形しているため、平滑回路では回路の大型の要因
となっていたチョークコイルが不要となり、平滑回路の
小型化が可能となる。同時に、一方の電源回路に設けら
れた前記アクティブフィルタでの電流波形の整形によ
り、商用電源ラインの高調波電流規制を行うことで、他
方の電源回路での高調波対策が不要となり、電源回路の
回路構成を簡略化することが可能となる。
源回路は制御回路用電源回路であり、前記他方の電源回
路はランプ点灯用電源回路であることが好ましい。また
この場合、前記第1の直流電圧または第1の直流電圧群
は前記制御回路を駆動するための電圧であり、前記第2
の直流電圧は前記ランプを点灯するための電圧となる。
さらに、前記第1のDC/DCコンバータは降圧用DC
/DCコンバータであり、前記第2のDC/DCコンバ
ータは昇圧用DC/DCコンバータで構成する。あるい
は、前記第1のDC/DCコンバータは降圧用DC/D
Cコンバータであり、前記第2のDC/DCコンバータ
は降圧用DC/DCコンバータで構成する。
参照して説明する。図1は本発明の第1の実施形態の電
源装置の回路図である。同図において、AC電源1には
制御回路用電源回路2が接続されており、この制御回路
用電源回路2の出力で内視鏡の制御回路4、例えば光学
系のアイリス制御を行う回路や、撮像したビデオ信号を
処理するための信号処理回路等を駆動する構成とされて
いる。また、前記制御回路用電源回路2の前記出力の一
部はランプ点灯用電源回路3に接続されており、前記ラ
ンプ点灯用電源回路3は前記制御回路用電源回路2の出
力を電圧変換して内視鏡ランプ5を点灯する構成とされ
ている。
源1から入力される交流電圧を整流するための整流回路
11と、整流された電圧の力率を改善するアクティブフ
ィルタ12と、平滑用コンデンサ13と、DC/DCコ
ンバータ14で構成されている。前記整流回路11はこ
れまでの電源回路で用いられている整流回路と同一構成
でよく、例えば4つの整流ダイオードからなるブリッジ
型整流回路で構成される。前記アクティブフィルタ12
は、スイッチング方式により後段の前記平滑コンデンサ
13に流れ込むパルス電流の波高値を下げると共に、該
パルスの導通角を拡張して、前記平滑コンデンサ13の
入力電圧の波形と相似な正弦波波形となるよう入力電流
波形を成形し、力率を1に近づける回路である。前記ア
クティブフィルタ12はその電流波形の整形により、後
段の前記平滑用コンデンサ13とで協動して平滑回路1
5を構成することにもなり、これにより従来のような大
型のチョークコイルは不要になる。また、同時にアクテ
ィブフィルタ12における波高値の抑制により、AC電
源1につながるAC電源ライン1aにおける高調波電流
を低減することが可能となる。前記DC/DCコンバー
タ14は、従来のDC/DCコンバータと同様にスイッ
チング素子を用いて直流電圧を変換する構成であり、前
記AC電源1の電圧(100V)から前記制御回路4に
要求される電圧、例えば12V等の直流電圧を生成する
降圧用DC/DCコンバータとして構成されている。そ
して、前記降圧用DC/DCコンバータ14の出力を前
記制御回路4に入力し、アイリス制御やビデオ信号処理
等の制御を実行させる。なお、制御回路4で複数の電圧
を要求される場合、前述の12V電圧から更に定電圧回
路等を介してその他の直流電圧を得るようにしても良い
し、DC/DCコンバータ14で一括して生成しても良
い。
記制御回路用電源回路2の降圧DC/DCコンバータ1
4の前述の直流電圧(12V)のもう一つの直流出力電
圧(例えば24V)を入力し、これを昇圧または降圧す
る変換用DC/DCコンバータ16として構成されてい
る。この電圧変換用DC/DCコンバータ16の構成
は、前記制御回路用電源回路2の降圧用DC/DCコン
バータ14と同様にスイッチング素子を用いて直流電圧
を変換しているが、ここではもう一つの直流電圧(例え
ば24V)を15〜60Vに電圧変換するように構成さ
れている。そして、この電圧変換した直流電圧を内視鏡
ランプ5に供給し、内視鏡ランプ5を点灯する。なお、
前記昇圧用DC/DCコンバータ16は、制御回路4に
接続されている制御線17を通して入力される制御信号
に基づいて駆動され、内視鏡ランプ5の点灯を制御する
ように構成されている。
制御回路用電源回路2においてAC電源1の交流電圧を
所定の直流電圧に変換し、その直流電圧で制御回路4を
駆動するとともに、この直流電圧をランプ点灯用電源回
路3において電圧変換してランプ5の点灯を行う構成で
あるので、AC電源1につながるAC電源ライン1aを
1系統にすることが可能となり、ランプ点灯用電源回路
3に整流回路と平滑回路を設ける必要がなくなる。ま
た、制御回路用電源回路2では、整流回路11と平滑用
コンデンサ13との間にアクティブフィルタ12を挿入
して電流波形を整形しているため、平滑回路15を構成
する際に回路が大型化される要因となっていたチョーク
コイルが不要となり、平滑回路15の小型化が可能とな
る。同時に、制御回路用電源回路2に設けられた前記ア
クティブフィルタ12において波高値を抑制するよう電
流波形の整形をおこなうことにより、AC電源ライン1
aの高調波電流対策を行うことができるため、ランプ点
灯用電源回路3に高調波電流対策を施す必要はなく、ラ
ンプ点灯用電源回路3の回路構成を簡略化することが可
能となる。さらに、制御回路用電源回路2は、従来のシ
リーズドロッパ電源回路ではなく、スイッチング電源回
路として構成されるので、変圧用のトランスも不要とな
る。これにより、内視鏡の電源装置全体としての回路規
模を縮小し、電源回路の小型化が実現できるとともに、
構成部品点数の削減により低価格化が実現できる。

流電圧を降圧用DC/DCコンバータ14を介すること
なくランプ点灯用電源回路3に入力し、ランプ点灯用電
源回路3に設けられている電圧変換用DC/DCコンバ
ータ18において所定の電圧まで電圧変換を行ってい
る。
は、制御回路用電源回路2とランプ点灯用電源回路3と
を別体に構成した例について説明したが、これは各実施
形態における概念構成を説明するために便宜的に分離し
て図示したものであり、実際に本発明の電源装置を構成
するに際しては、制御回路用電源回路2とランプ点灯用
電源回路3とを1つの基板ないしシャーシに一体的に構
成することが可能であることは言うまでもない。また、
前記第2の実施形態では、制御回路用電源回路2に整流
回路11、アクティブフィルタ12、平滑回路15を設
けてAC電源ライン1aに接続しているが、これとは逆
にランプ点灯用電源回路3に整流回路、アクティブフィ
ルタ、平滑回路を設けてAC電源ラインに接続し、その
平滑回路の出力を昇圧してランプ5を点灯する一方で、
平滑回路の出力をDC/DCコンバータで構成される制
御回路用電源回路2に入力して制御回路の制御電圧を出
力するようにしてもよい。
用電源回路とランプ点灯用電源回路のいずれか一方に、
商用電源電圧を直流電圧に変換するための手段として整
流回路、アクティブフィルタ、平滑回路を備え、かつ得
られた直流電圧を所望の第1の直流電圧または第1の直
流電圧群に変換する第1のDC/DCコンバータを備
え、他方の電源回路には、前記一方の電源回路で生成さ
れた第1の直流電圧又は第1の直流電圧群を所望の第2
の直流電圧または直流電圧群に変換する第2のDC/D
Cコンバータとを備えた構成であるので、商用電源ライ
ンを1系統にすることが可能となり、かつ2つの電源回
路のそれぞれに整流回路と平滑回路を設ける必要がなく
なり、電源装置の小型化、低価格化が実現できる。ま
た、一方の電源回路に設けられたアクティブフィルタに
より商用電源ラインの高調波電流対策を行うことで、他
方の電源回路での高調波電流対策が不要となり、特に他
方の電源回路の回路構成の簡略化が実現できる。

- 【請求項1】 内視鏡の光源としてのランプを点灯する
ためのランプ点灯用電源回路と、前記内視鏡の撮像光学
系の制御や所定の信号処理を行う制御回路の電源として
の制御回路用電源回路とを備え、前記ランプ点灯用電源
回路と前記制御回路用電源回路をそれぞれ商用電源によ
り駆動する構成の内視鏡用電源装置において、前記制御
回路用電源回路とランプ点灯用電源回路のいずれか一方
に、前記商用電源電圧を脈流波形の電圧に変換するため
の整流回路と、前記整流回路の出力電力の力率改善を行
うアクティブフィルタと、前記アクティブフィルタの出
力を平滑化する平滑回路と、前記平滑化された直流電圧
から所望の第1の直流電圧または所望の第1の直流電圧
群を生成する第1のDC/DCコンバータとを備え、他
方の電源回路には、前記第1の直流電圧または前記第1
の直流電圧群のうちの一つの電圧から所望の第2の直流
電圧または所望の第2の直流電圧群を生成する第2のD
C/DCコンバータとを備えることを特徴とする内視鏡
用電源装置。 - 【請求項2】 内視鏡の光源としてのランプを点灯する
ためのランプ点灯用電源回路と、前記内視鏡の撮像光学
系の制御や所定の信号処理を行う制御回路の電源として
の制御回路用電源回路とを備え、前記ランプ点灯用電源
回路と前記制御回路用電源回路をそれぞれ商用電源によ
り駆動する構成の内視鏡用電源装置において、前記制御
回路用電源回路とランプ点灯用電源回路のいずれか一方
に、前記商用電源電圧を脈流波形の電圧に変換するため
の整流回路と、前記整流回路の出力電力の力率改善を行
うアクティブフィルタと、前記アクティブフィルタの出
力を平滑化する平滑回路と、前記平滑化された直流電圧
から所望の第1の直流電圧または第1の直流電圧群を生
成する第1のDC/DCコンバータとを備え、他方の電
源回路には、前記平滑化された直流電圧から所望の第2
の直流電圧または所望の第2の直流電圧群を生成する第
2のDC/DCコンバータとを備えることを特徴とする
内視鏡用電源装置。 - 【請求項3】 前記一方の電源回路は制御回路用電源回
路であり、前記他方の電源回路はランプ点灯用電源回路
であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内視鏡
用電源装置。 - 【請求項4】 前記第1の直流電圧または前記第1の直
流電圧群は前記制御回路を駆動するための電圧であり、
前記第2の直流電圧は前記ランプを点灯するための電圧
であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内視鏡用電源
装置。 - 【請求項5】 前記第1のDC/DCコンバータは降圧
用DC/DCコンバータであり、前記第2のDC/DC
コンバータは昇圧用DC/DCコンバータであることを
特徴とする請求項4に記載の内視鏡用電源装置。 - 【請求項6】 前記第1のDC/DCコンバータは第1
の降圧用DC/DCコンバータであり、前記第2のDC
/DCコンバータは第2の降圧用DC/DCコンバータ
であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の内視鏡用電源
装置。
