Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a natural fold by pressing a bill with an invariably constant pressing force irrelevantly to the number of received bills. SOLUTION: A receiving plate is formed movably at right angles to the stack direction of bills and energizes an energizing means 27 for placing a rotational load between the armature 24 and rotor 23 of an electromagnetic clutch 21. A pressing-in member 4 is connected to a motor 20 through the electromagnetic clutch 21. Then when the electromagnetic clutch 21 is not electrified, the motor 20 is electrified to press bills stacked on the receiving plate by the pressing-in member 4 until they balance with the rotational load generated by the energizing means 27; after the receiving plate is moved back horizontally, the electromagnetic clutch 21 is electrified to transmit the rotation of the motor 20 to the pressing-in member 4 and the bills stacked on the receiving plate are pressed in a bill storage part under the control of a control part 30.

However, in the above-mentioned apparatus, the bill holder is suspended by a spring, and the bill is sandwiched between the bill holder and the temporary holding plate to correct the folded state. The pressing force changes depending on the amount of banknotes accumulated on the board. For example, when the amount of banknotes is extremely small, the pressing force is weakened, so that the folding of the banknotes cannot be sufficiently corrected. There was a point.

As a means for solving the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a receiving plate for paying out a deposited bill, sending the bill to a discriminating unit, accumulating bills determined to be acceptable and temporarily holding the bills, A pushing member for pushing the bills accumulated on this receiving plate into the bill storage unit installed at the lower position thereof,
A motor as a drive source for pushing the pushing member in, and an electromagnetic clutch for intermittently transmitting the rotation of the motor are provided, and the receiving plate is formed so as to be movable in a direction orthogonal to the direction of stacking the banknotes, An urging means for applying a rotational load between the armature of the electromagnetic clutch and the rotor is provided, and the pushing member is connected to the motor via the electromagnetic clutch, and the pressing member is not energized when the electromagnetic clutch is de-energized. The motor is energized so that the bills accumulated on the receiving plate are pressed by the pushing member until the bills balance with the rotational load generated by the urging means, and then the receiving plate is retracted in the horizontal direction. After that, the electromagnetic clutch is energized to transmit the rotation of the motor to the pushing member, and control is performed to push the bills accumulated on the receiving plate into the bill storage unit. Characterized by possession of.

As described above, according to the present invention, the motor as a drive source for forcibly pushing the banknotes of one transaction accumulated in the temporary holding unit into the banknote storage unit, and the transmission of power is intermittent. By providing an electromagnetic clutch for applying a rotational load to the electromagnetic clutch,
In a state in which the electromagnetic clutch is not energized, a rotational load is generated by the action of the urging means, and the rotational load has a constant value regardless of the amount of bills accumulated in the temporary holding unit, and therefore, the amount of bills Regardless of the degree, the bill can always be pressed with a constant pressing force, so that the folded bill can be reliably corrected.
