(57)【要約】
【課題】 自動車のアクセルケーブルのペダル側の端末
はエンジンの振動を吸収するためにペダルと端末具との
間にクッションが介設されているが、ペダルは揺動運動
をするため、アクセルケーブルはクッションに斜めに押
し付けられる。そうすると、アクセルケーブルがクッシ
ョンに直に接触するとともにクッションの伸縮によりア
クセルケーブルがクッションに繰り返しこすり付けられ
てクッションが摩耗し、耐久性向上の妨げとなってい
た。 【解決手段】 端末具bとクッション3との間に介入さ
れる板状部7と、その板状部7と一体なしてプルケーブ
ルaのクッション3との接触を阻止する筒状部6とから
なる案内体5を設けたものであって、板状部7が端末具
1とクッション3との間に介入されているから、筒状部
6がクッション3内に保持されてプルケーブルaがクッ
ション3に接触してこれを摩耗させるのを防止する。

【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は、プルケーブルの端
末構造に関し、特に、自動車のアクセルケーブルのペダ
ル側の端末のように、揺動運動をする端末に適した構造
に関する。

【従来の技術】自動車のアクセルケーブルのペダル側の
端末はエンジンの振動を吸収するためにペダルと端末具

【発明が解決しようとする課題】そうすると、アクセル
ケーブルがクッションに直に接触するとともにクッショ
ンの伸縮によりアクセルケーブルがクッションにこすり
付けられることによりクッションが摩耗して耐久性向上

【課題を解決するための手段、作用及び効果】このよう
な課題を解決するための手段として、請求項1の発明
は、端末具とクッションとの間に介入される板状部と、
その板状部と一体なしてプルケーブルのクッションとの
接触を阻止する筒状部とからなる案内体を設けたもので
あって、板状部が端末具とクッションとの間に介入され
ているから、筒状部がクッション内に保持されてプルケ
ーブルがクッションに接触してこれを摩耗させるのを防
止するとともに、筒状部の剛性が高い場合にはクッショ
ンの座屈を防止してその耐久性を高める効果があり、請
求項2の発明は、請求項1の発明において、端末具と案
内体の板状部とが互いに嵌合しているため、端末具と案
内体が同心に保たれて筒状部がプルケーブルを無理なく
案内することができる効果があり、請求項3の発明は、
請求項1または2の発明において、案内体の曲げ弾性率
が500〜10,000kgf/cm2の可撓性を有す
る材料からなるようにしたから、案内体の板状部と筒状
部の屈曲性が十分に高く、また、筒状部へのプルケーブ
ルの食い込みが防止されてプルケーブルの耐久性が向上
する。

内体の板状部とが互いに嵌合しているため、端末具と案

請求項1または2の発明において、案内体の曲げ弾性率
が500〜10,000kgf/cm2の可撓性を有す

部の屈曲性が十分に高く、また、筒状部へのプルケーブ
ルの食い込みが防止されてプルケーブルの耐久性が向上
する。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、本発明の一実施の形態を添
付図面に基づいて説明する。図1において1は図示しな
いアクセルペダル等の揺動する相手部材にスナップフィ
ットする弾性鈎片2を有する取付具であって中心孔4を
有するゴム製のクッション3が嵌着されている。

付けられてクッション3が弾縮し、張力が解除されると
クッション3が原形に復する運動が繰り返されることに
よりプルケーブルaは案内体5の筒状部6の内面に繰り
返しこすりつけられる。

るから、筒状部6の内面は容易に磨耗せず、長期間使用

筒状部6の板状部7に対する屈曲性が低下して筒状部6
がプルケーブルaの揺動に追従できず、プルケーブルa
の切断の耐久性が60万回以下に低下し、逆に、低すぎ
るとプルケーブルaが筒状部7に食い込んで変形するこ
とにより耐久性が20〜30万回程度に低下するため、
案内体5の曲げ弾性率は500〜10,000kgf/
cm2の範囲内にすることが好ましい。

がプルケーブルaの揺動に追従できず、プルケーブルa
の切断の耐久性が60万回以下に低下し、逆に、低すぎ
るとプルケーブルaが筒状部7に食い込んで変形するこ
とにより耐久性が20〜30万回程度に低下するため、
案内体5の曲げ弾性率は500〜10,000kgf/
cm2の範囲内にすることが好ましい。

Claims (3)
- 【請求項1】 取付部材にクッションを介して端末具を
取り付けるようにしたプルケーブルの端末構造におい
て、前記端末具と前記クッションとの間に介入される板
状部と、該板状部と一体をなしてプルケーブルの前記ク
ッションとの接触を阻止する筒状部とからなる案内体を
設けたことを特徴とするプルケーブルの端末構造。 - 【請求項2】 前記端末具と前記案内体の板状部とが互
いに嵌合していることを特徴とする請求項1記載のプル
ケーブルの端末構造。 - 【請求項3】 前記案内体の曲げ弾性率が500〜1
0,000kgf/cm2の可撓性を有する材料からな
ることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のプルケーブ
