Description

DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION

dell'invenzione industriale avente per titolo: of the industrial invention entitled:

The present invention relates to a bottle for liquid drugs.

It is known that some liquid drugs, for example, not limiting, eye drops, include several chemically combined active ingredients, but it is also known that most of them comprise a single active ingredient.

Clinical practice often requires, especially in more complex pathologies, the use of multiple eye drops to be instilled in rapid succession; this practice, especially in chronic therapies, as demonstrated by numerous clinical researches, leads to an increase in the complexity of administration, with a decrease in the patient's adaptation to therapy, and consequent worsening of the pathological picture.

The instillation of multiple eye drops in rapid succession, each contained in a single bottle, is usually done by the patient himself, and currently requires each bottle to be opened, the outlet of the liquid positioned over the eye, and instilled. the liquid in the eye. Attention is drawn to the fact that the centering of the bottle over the eye is done visually, by the patient, and that once the first eye drops have been instilled, fatally or the eye is cleaned with the eyelid from the eye drops, and the eye drops are not they are administered simultaneously with each other, and do not mix on the surface of the eye, or the centering accuracy drops. In addition, the entire operation of opening and closing the bottles is laborious, and discourages the less persevering patient. Hence the possible aggravation of the pathology due to lack of compliance by the patient.

It would be desirable to mix the active ingredients in a single instillator bottle, with a single outlet, but in doing so the eye drops would mix from the source, and this is not always desirable, for example because they may be chemically immiscible (for example aqueous and fat-based), and therefore not guarantee the appropriate dosage (for example one eye drop could float on another, with a higher specific weight, preventing the dosage of the lighter eye drops).

The eye drops may not mix with the desired degree, still causing uncertainty of dosage, or, again, by mixing them at the wrong time their mutual chemical reaction could give rise to substances that are not acceptable in the therapy, for example because their therapeutic effect decays very quickly. .

Or, the combination of substances that require burdensome and complex pharmacological techniques of combination between them, is such as to discourage their production.

Even in the field of surgical administration, it would be useful to be able to instill more eye drops without having to open all the respective bottles.

The preceding considerations can also extend by analogy to other medical applications, such as those, for example non-restrictive, in the otolaryngological field.

The aim of the present invention is therefore to provide a bottle for liquid drugs which allows a contextual dosage of several liquid drugs.

In accordance with the invention, this object is achieved with a bottle for the administration of liquid drugs, characterized by the fact of having at least two chambers, in particular at least one first chamber and at least one second chamber not communicating with each other for the separate containment of liquid drugs. , and each of said chambers is equipped with an independent opening for the exit of the liquid drugs from the chambers, since no mixing takes place before the instillation of the liquid drugs.

These and other characteristics of the present invention will be made clearer by the following detailed description of an example of its practical embodiment illustrated by way of non-limiting purposes in the accompanying drawings, in which:

la figura 1 mostra una vista laterale di un flacone secondo l’invenzione; Figure 1 shows a side view of a bottle according to the invention;

la figura 2 mostra una vista in pianta da sopra della figura 1 ; Figure 2 shows a top plan view of Figure 1;

la figura 3 mostra una vista in sezione longitudinale della figura 1 secondo la linea III-III; Figure 3 shows a longitudinal sectional view of Figure 1 along the line III-III;

la figura 4 mostra una vista in pianta da sotto della figura 1 ; Figure 4 shows a bottom plan view of Figure 1;

la figura 5 mostra una vista in sezione longitudinale della figura 3 secondo la linea V-V; figure 5 shows a longitudinal sectional view of figure 3 along the line V-V;

la figura 6 mostra una sezione trasversale della figura 5 secondo la linea VI- VI; la figura 7 mostra una vista in sezione longitudinale secondo la linea VII- VII della figura 3; figure 6 shows a cross section of figure 5 along the line VI-VI; Figure 7 shows a longitudinal section view along the line VII-VII of Figure 3;

Figure 8 shows an enlarged view of the detail in the round piece A of Figure 5.

With reference to figures 1, 2 and 4, a bottle 1 for liquid drugs can be seen comprising two independent chambers 2, 3 of flexible material: a first chamber 2 and a second chamber 3, not communicating with each other, placed side by side along respective distinct surfaces 18 and 81, and used for the separate containment of liquid drugs. As explained above, on some occasions it is not desirable to mix drugs with each other except at the time of instillation. Each of the two chambers 2, 3 is equipped with an opening 4, used for the escape of liquid drugs from chambers 2, 3.

The sleeve 7 comprises, in one piece, an internal collar 8 and an external collar 9 adapted to cooperate with each other and with the chambers 2, 3 to facilitate the radial assembly of the two chambers 2, 3 to the sleeve 7. The dimensions of the internal collar 8 are such as to ensure radial support to the openings 4, similarly the external collar 9 provides at point 19 (figure 3) a radial support to the two chambers 2, 3.

The inner collar 8 delimits connecting channels 50 which are tightly coupled with the openings 4.

Mounted on said sleeve 7 is a cap 5 (Figures 3, 5, 6 and 7) comprising outlet channels 6 for liquid drugs; said channels 6 are not communicating with each other and are placed in correspondence with the connecting channels 50 of the sleeve 7.

The sealed coupling of the openings 4 of each chamber 2, 3, of the connection channels 50 and of the outlet channels 6 in succession, causes the two chambers 2, 3 of the bottle 1, from the channels 6 to be pressed simultaneously with the fingers. the respective liquid drugs come out at the same time.

The chambers 2, 3 also have projections 10 (figure 8) and the sleeve 7 has complementary elements 11, which are able to cooperate with each other for the axial assembly of the chambers 2, 3 to the sleeve 7. In particular the projection 10 of the chambers 2, 3 is beveled, so that when the chamber is pushed into the sleeve 7, the sleeve 7 widens until the complementary element 11 slides over the bevel 21 and surmounts it, blocking the chamber 2 or 3 axially with respect to the sleeve 7.

Advantageously, the external collar 9 is equipped with a substantially threaded portion 15 suitable for engaging in a complementary recess 16 (figure 7) located on a cap 17 (figure 1), allowing the screwing of the cap 17 on the sleeve 7.

Advantageously, the first chamber 2 and the second chamber 3 have on their respective surfaces 18 and 81 in mutual contact the recessed paths 13 and the raised paths 14, complementary to each other, for a better sealing of the assembly of the bottle 1. In particular, the The assembly can be done by gluing, and the glue is placed on said paths 13, 14, which increase the gluing surface, and give it greater resistance to tangential actions.

In particular, on the contact surfaces 18 and 81 (Figures 5 and 7) there are two recessed paths 13, and two raised paths 14, specular with respect to a longitudinal axis.

Advantageously, the outlet channels 6 of the cap 5 are equipped with a flare 22 and an invitation portion 23, to facilitate an outlet of the liquid drug without the formation of air bubbles.

The present invention allows to overcome the problems described above, in particular it reduces the number of instillations favoring the correspondence between the therapy assigned to the patient and the therapy actually followed.

The reduction of instillations induces a lower use of the Benzalkonium-Chloride preservative with resulting significant decrease of the cytotoxic effects.

Il flacone secondo la presente invenzione aumenta il controllo della patologia e consente nell’utilizzo chirurgico di ridurre i tempi di sala operatoria; inoltre apre la strada allo sviluppo di numerose combinazioni di farmaci liquido finora impensabili per motivi di compliance, con conseguente maggior efficacia di trattamento di molte patologie The bottle according to the present invention increases the control of the pathology and allows surgical use to reduce operating room times; it also paves the way for the development of numerous combinations of liquid drugs hitherto unthinkable for compliance reasons, with consequent greater effectiveness in the treatment of many pathologies
