Il segnalatore “CROSS LIGHT è un impianto di segnalazione per gli attraversamenti pedonali. The “CROSS LIGHT” signaling device is a signaling system for pedestrian crossings.

Il manufatto consiste in numero due pali (1) di altezza pari a cm 230 e diametro cm 10 in acciaio/ferro zincato, da posizionare alle due estremità della carreggiata in prossimità di attraversamenti pedonali, dotati di una gemma a led RGB (5), di dimensioni pari a cm 20 di altezza e cm 10 di diametro, posta all’estremità superiore, impostabile in vari colori per la segnalazione (anche alternativamente durante ogni singola segnalazione). The artifact consists of two poles (1) with a height of 230 cm and a diameter of 10 cm in galvanized steel / iron, to be positioned at both ends of the carriageway near pedestrian crossings, equipped with an RGB LED gem (5), with dimensions of 20 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter, placed at the upper end, which can be set in various colors for signaling (also alternatively during each single signaling).

La chiamata verrà effettuata con pulsante (2) posto sul palo che azionerà i lampeggiatori per un tempo programmabile. The call will be made with button (2) placed on the pole which will activate the flashers for a programmable time.

Sul pulsante vi sarà un led che lampeggerà nello stato di stand-by e diventerà fisso al momento della chiamata. On the button there will be a led that will flash in the stand-by state and will become fixed at the time of the call.

Si potrà inoltre inserire un pulsante a forma di freccia per indicare ai non vedenti la direzione dell’attraversamento pedonale. You can also insert an arrow-shaped button to indicate the direction of the pedestrian crossing to the blind.

A richiesta sarà possibile applicare sulla pulsantiera un sensore per il rilevamento automatico della presenza di pedoni. On request it will be possible to apply a sensor on the push-button panel for automatic detection of the presence of pedestrians.

Alla pressione del tasto di chiamata si azioneranno il lampeggiante e la segnalazione acustica (4) per tutto il tempo impostato per l’attraversamento. When the call button is pressed, the flashing light and the acoustic signal (4) will be activated for the entire time set for crossing.

La centralina (3) si potrà installare su uno dei due pali e sarà debitamente protetta elettricamente come richiesto dalle normative. The control unit (3) can be installed on one of the two poles and will be duly electrically protected as required by the regulations.

Il collegamento tra i due manufatti sarà effettuato tramite cavo o in modalità wireless a seconda della richiesta. The connection between the two artifacts will be made via cable or wirelessly depending on the request.

L’alimentazione sarà di 230Volt dalla rete elettrica o tramite sistema di accumulo (batterie) caricato tramite pannello fotovoltaico (6) applicato al palo con apposite staffe, senza l’esclusione di adattamento ad eventuali fonti energetiche future. La centralina permetterà la regolazione del colore della gemma a led, l’intensità luminosa, i tempi di lampeggio e la frequenza di lampeggio. The control unit will allow you to adjust the color of the LED gem, the light intensity, the flashing times and the flashing frequency.

Alla chiamata con il tasto per non vedenti si azionerà il cicalino con tono più frequente allo scadere del tempo impostato e per questo tipo di chiamate si potrà impostare un colore diverso di lampeggio. Le prerogative di questo sistema a confronto di altri esistenti sono essenzialmente, oltre al design accattivante, il funzionamento intelligente ed un notevole abbattimento dei costi. Infatti, sia l'installazione sia il funzionamento risultano essere molto semplici ed immediati, ed il costo contenuto è sicuramente un buon incentivo per favorirne l’utilizzo da parte delle amministrazioni in punti strategici ad alto rischio. A differenza di segnalatori esistenti a lampeggio costante, che avvisano sì dell’esistenza di un attraversamento pedonale ma non della presenza di pedoni (e quindi gli automobilisti sono, in un certo modo, abituati a quel tipo di segnale luminoso senza porvi la giusta attenzione), questo avveritore cattura l’attenzione in quanto entra in funzione solo alla presenza effettiva di pedoni. Unlike existing signaling devices with constant flashing, which warn of the existence of a pedestrian crossing but not of the presence of pedestrians (and therefore motorists are, in a certain way, used to that type of light signal without paying proper attention to it) , this warning catches the attention as it comes into operation only in the actual presence of pedestrians.

Questo sistema, se pur semplice, risulta un salvavita molto efficace e l’esigenza di realizzarlo nasce dal vissuto quotidiano e dalle criticità rilevate in corrispondenza degli attraversamenti pedonali, in particolar modo nelle ore serali ed in presenza di condizioni meteorologiche quali pioggia o nebbia. This system, albeit simple, is a very effective lifesaver and the need to implement it arises from everyday life and from the criticalities detected at pedestrian crossings, especially in the evening hours and in the presence of weather conditions such as rain or fog.

Il susseguirsi di notizie di cronaca nera confermano sempre più la necessità di adottare nuovi sistemi al fine di contenere quella che ad oggi risulta essere una percentuale altissima di mortalità e di invalidità che si verifica giornalmente sulle strade urbane ed extra urbane del nostro paese.
