Abstract

L'invenzione riguarda un procedimento per il miglioramento delle caratteristiche chimico-fisiche e tecnologiche di oli combustibili in particolare di oli da pirolisi di biomasse secondo il quale gli oli derivati dalla pirolisi, in fase liquida o vapore vengono irradiati con elettroni di energie comprese tra 0.055 e 1 MeV. Preferibilmente gli elettroni necessari per l'irraggiamento vengono generati con un acceleratore elettrostatico di elettroni. Una sostanza ausiliaria fornitrice di idrogeno, quale il metano, eventualmente pre-irradiata, può essere iniettata nel flusso liquido o vapore di detti oli. L'invenzione riguarda anche un impianto perfezionato per la pirolisi di biomasse incorporante detta fase di irraggiamento con elettroni.(FIG.1).The invention relates to a process for improving the chemical-physical and technological characteristics of combustible oils, in particular of oils from pyrolysis of biomass, according to which the oils derived from pyrolysis, in the liquid or vapor phase, are irradiated with electrons of energies ranging from 0.055 and 1 MeV. Preferably the electrons needed for radiation are generated with an electrostatic electron accelerator. An auxiliary hydrogen supplying substance, such as methane, possibly pre-irradiated, can be injected into the liquid or vapor flow of said oils. The invention also relates to an improved plant for the pyrolysis of biomass incorporating said electron irradiation phase (FIG.1).
