Abstract

The drink container has a lid, a part of which can be perforated by a drinking straw. Inside the body (1) is a perforable diaphragm (4) dividing it into top and bottom chambers (1b,1c), one containing the drink and the other an additive. When the straw is inserted, it engages in a cutting tool (5) inside, above the diaphragm, with its point towards the latter. The perforable portion (2) of the body contains a coarse-pitch thread, into which a mating portion on the straw screws. Axial movement of the straw causes the tool to turn, aiding mixture of drink and additive.
