Abstract

Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of computer communications and provide an account login method apparatus and system and a network server. The method comprises: obtaining current fingerprint information sent by a terminal; determining whether the current fingerprint information is the same as pre stored initial fingerprint information; and if the current fingerprint information is the same as information for one of the pre stored initial fingerprints permitting the terminal to login to an account associated with the initial fingerprint information. In the present invention it is determined whether the received current fingerprint information already exists and if the current fingerprint information already exists the terminal is permitted to login to the account associated with the initial fingerprint information thereby performing account login by means of a fingerprint only avoiding cumbersome processes when logging in to an Internet application and improving the user experience.
