Abstract

The invention deals with a method, which by the use of an electronic device producing cosine and orthogonal sound wave, of in choice frequencies (from 20 to 20000 Hz) and intensities (from 0 to 120 db) and providing the efficacy to the examined person to reproduce the transduced frequency, evaluates the objective perception of sound in healthy and brain damaged patients, hearing impairements, drug and substances users, it supprots the construction of normograms concerning the ideal perception of sound frequency in relation to its intensity and evaluates the acoustic memory and acoustic perception, in humans. Its applications are made through various tests evaluating sound memory and perception of the tested persons, by the use of sound signals with various frequencies and intensities or by two simultaneously applied sound waves. By the use of this method it was found that healty persons are responding with great confidence in reproducing the tranduced sound signals (deviation between 10 % to 20 %) for the test that evaluates sound memory and with greater confidence (deviation less than 10 %) for that evaluating the compatative sound perception (mean deviation 4.5+4.0).
