Abstract

985,124. Self-wringing mops. RE ENRICO, and RE CARLO, [trading as OFFICINE MECCANISCHE F. LLI RE DI RE ENRICO], March 20, 1963 [March 23, 1962], No. 11022/63. Heading A4F. In a self-wringing sponge mop in which the mop head 14 is wrung by drawing it by a control rod 4 between rollers 3, the head 14 is releasable from the rod 4 by movement in a direction normal to the direction in which it is drawn between the rollers 3. The head 14 is retained in a holder 15, 16 which is slidable longitudinally to release it from a channel 13 in a fitting 5 secured to the rod 4. Alternatively to the rod 4 is secured a fitting carrying hooks which may similarly be released from engagement with rings provided on the holder 15.
