976,601. Coffee percolators. C. ALBERTINI. April 25, 1962 [April 26, 1961], No. 15697/62. Heading A4D. [Also in Division H5] A coffee percolator comprising a water container 2 from which boiling water, under steam pressure, is forced upwardly through ground coffee in a holder 3 and thence by way of a funnel 1d to a superposed coffee beverage receptacle 1, has two water heating electrodes 6 mounted on the base of container 2 whereby heating is reduced or interrupted as the electrodes become partly or wholly uncovered. The containers 1, 2 are connected by a bayonet joint and container 2 is furnished with a safety valve 17, projections 15, 16 marking maximum and minimum filling levels and a base extension 12 housing connections from electrode terminals 7-9 to plug pins 11.
