In a medicament administering apparatus comprising a holder 3 for a pressurized container 4, containing the medicament, and a chamber 1 into which the medicament is dispersed, the chamber is provided with an inlet valve 9 through which only inhalation can occur. This ensures that there can be no waste of medicament through an uncontrolled outlet.
