Abstract

911,046. Demountable winches. ANGELI, E. March 6, 1959 [Sept. 30, 1958; Dec. 3, 1958], No. 7855/59. Class 78 (5). A winch drum 3, which is adaptable for use with any one of a plurality of cables 11 so as to haul loads disposed at differing positions in a building yard, is pivoted to rotate about an upright 2 so as to face full on to the cable 11 to be hauled. The other cables are shown at 9 and are detachably secured at 8. The upright is held by arms 4, 5 and is pivoted at 28 so that it collapses for transportation. Counterweights 6 are employed.
