888,296. Fire and burglar alarms. CERBERUS G.m.b.H. Feb. 19, 1958 [Feb. 19, 1957; Jan. 22, 1958], No. 5389/58. Class 118. An electric alarm system comprises a plurality of alarm station connected in series and transmitting an electric signal to a control station, each alarm station having a visual indicator at each station to indicate from where the alarm has originated. In one embodiment a signal flag is operated by a magnetic circuit. In Fig. 3 a smoke detector 23, 24 actuates a cold cathode tube 27 which strikes and thus reduces the voltage on lines 19, 20. An indicator discharge tube 28 is also provided. In further embodiments provision is made for measuring the voltage applied to the lines when the central unit resets to a call.
