Abstract

866,234. Metal beams. MARKS, E. M. Aug. 4, 1959, No. 26584/59. Class 20(2) A nailing beam comprises two parts having flat central webs 11, 12 bent at each edge at an angle and then inwards to form booms 18, 19 the two inwardly bent parts 21 of each boom having their edges 22 bent at an angle to be adjacent to each other or to engage resiliently to form a receiving groove for nails 27. The webs may interengage by undulations 14 between which nails may be driven. The webs 11, 12 are connected by wire stitching or stapling.
