Class 40(5) In a radio receiver in which upon operation of a switch the tuning is automatically driven to the next signal having a strength exceeding a predetermined value, the volume control of the receiver is coupled electrically or mechanically to a. control which varies the predetermined value. The coupling maybe either such that the predetermined value increases or decreases as the volume is increased.
