Abstract

A cementitious composition comprises a major proportion of amorphous carbon with a minor proportion of cement. Sand may also be present. Cement includes plaster of Paris, Keene's cement, lime, portland cement, and mixtures thereof. For interior use, a coating of the composition may be covered by a further coating of hard-setting plaster, and, for exterior use, a coating of cement rendering is applied over the composition.
