697,232. Composite paper-boards. THOMPSON & NORRIS MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd. April 2, 1951. [April 27, 1950] No. 10404/50. Class 96. [Also in Group XXX] A board 2 of two or more layers of pasteboard, or corrugated cardboard &c. has spaced blocks 7 fastened in recesses on one side of the board, each block consisting of layers of e.g. doublefaced, corrugated cardboard glued together, the layers being perpendicular to the plane of the board. The board is for use as a platform on which goods are stacked e.g. for transport by fork-lift, load-handling trucks. As illustrated, the blocks 7, which may be cubes, are secured by glueing their sides to tabs 6 which are cut from the surface-layer of the board 2 to form the recesses. Adjacent layers of the panel may have corrugations at right angles to each other.
