Abstract

670,543. Food cutters &c. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. March 29, 1950 [Aug. 24, 1949], No. 21959/49. Class 5(i) [Also in Groups II and XXXV] A shredder is coupled to a highspeed drive in the power head of a mixing machine, (see Group II). The shredder comprises a cup 45 through which projects a shaft 46 the lower end of which carries a coupling element 47 adapted to fit over the squared end of shaft 5. On the upper end of shaft 46 are mounted blades 48. In order to prevent rotation of the cup 45 when the shaft 46 is rotated by the shaft 5, the cup is provided with projections 49 which project into recesses in the power head 43.
