Abstract

519,621. Delivering measured quantities of liquids. NON-DRIP MEASURE CO., Ltd., BERWICK, F. W., and BERWICK, A. G. July 1, 1938, No. 19580. [Class 106 (v)] Two or more liquid dispensing devices such as described in Specification 455,266 are mounted side by side on a frame 1 and a branched pipe 20 having a single delivery -outlet may be operated either by a hand lever 26 or by the upward pressure of a receptacle to lift the hollow plungers 10 of the dispensing devices and cause the simultaneous discharge of measured quantities of the liquids into a common receptacle. The lever 26 may be connected to the branched pipe 20 through a sleeve 29 having a limited sliding movement thereon so as to form a drip-collecting chamber as described in Specification 455,271, [Group XXVIII]. The plungers 10 and pipe 20 may be secured together or integral with one another but are preferably separate so as to allow the valves 9 on the plungers to seat independently. The branches of the pipe 20 are desirably of larger bore than the plungers 10. An upwardly pressed spring plunger 22 maintains the branches of the pipe 20 and plungers in contact. One dispensing device may consist of a simple valve which when opened permits a continuous flow of water to the outlet
