Abstract

518,876. Rolling. SCHLOEMANN AKT.-GES. Sept. 5, 1938, No. 25879. Convention date, Sept. 3, 1937. [Class 83 (iv)] In turning over rolled sections located in a recess in a bushing 5 rotated by worm drive 7 from a motor 6, the bottom of the turned section is maintained in the plane of rolling by also allowing the housing 4 and attached motor 6 and drive 7 to turn also about a pivot 2, whilst the section remains supported by the line rollers. The normal setting is given by adjustable stops 10, 11. The bushing 5 may be replaced by spaced groups of discs.
