Abstract
490,837. Television. INTERNATIONAL CARRIER-CALL & TELEVISION CORPORATION. Nov. 17, 1936, No. 31487. Void. Convention date, Dec. 16, 1935. [Class 40 (iii)] The scanning mirrors 4, 5 are mounted on rods 35 tuned to oscillate at the scanning frequencies. Each metal mirror carries a small polarized projection. Slight errors of adjustment of the mirrors are corrected by an adjustable lens 6. Separate carrier frequencies are generated at G, G1, the carrier G1 being modulated by the microphone 18 and being used to drive the scanning mirror 7. Vision signals from cell 2 are said to modulate beat currents from the generators G, G1, these beat currents rectified at 19 serving also to drive the highspeed scanner 8. At the receiver, the carrier and beat frequencies are separated by filters and phase-adjusters and applied to the sound and vision reproducers and to the respective scanning magnets.
