487,110. Buckles. LOCBAR BUCKLE CO., Ltd. Aug. 16, 1937, No. 22506. Convention date, Aug. 19, 1936. [Class 43] A buckle comprises a frame 1 having a cross-bar 2 attached to it at one side by means of an elongated eye 3, and having means 6 at the other end for engaging the other side of the frame the bar being slidable longitudinally of itself and rotatable out of the plane of the frame so that the buckle can easily be attached to a strap. The cross section of the frame where it passes through the eye is rectangular, and the width of the eyehole is greater than the width of the rectangular section, but less than the length of the diagonal of the section. The buckle frame may be formed integral with a button-engaging loop.
