[Class 132 (ii)] [See also Group XVIII] Game apparatus in which balls are projected by a spring gun through a rotatable ballguiding nozzle to roll over a playing table into scoring pockets has means for tilting the table to cause the balls to run into a magazine. The apparatus shown includes a ball race or track 20, Fig. 1, up which balls 18 are projected by a spring gun 17 and which is in communication with a U-shaped trackway 21 connected by a pair of parallel walls 24 of flexible matal to a rigid open-ended channel member 22 carried by a plate 23, rotatable through toothed gearing 25 by a rod 26. The balls travel down the table to scoring pockets 27 from which they are ejected by depressing the coin-freed handle 16 to tilt the table 3 about a hinged connection with a fixed platform 4 which causes pegs 28, Fig. 2, on a plate 29 floatingly suspended from the table 3 on pins 30 to enter the pockets 27, the plate 29 being held against descent by a stop-bar 31. One or more of the pegs 28 may be independently mounted on an arm 32 pivoted on the plate 29 and supported by a stop 33 so that the corresponding pocket 27 can accommodate two or more balls. The downward movement of the table 3 is buffered by an air dash-pot 34, Fig. 3. The balls on ejection from the pockets 27 roll down the table 3 under the fixed wall 3<a> to the inclined magazine 5 from which they are fed by gravity to the track 20 by operation of the spring-controlled pivoted shutter 19, Fig. 4. The handle 16 actuating the table 3 is freed by insertion of a coin 11 into a holder 9, Fig. 5, and operation of the knob 10 so that the coin pushes the plate 12 to the left against the action of the spring 15 to cause disengagement of notched ends thereon from notched tongues 14 carried by the table 3.
