[Class 52 (i)] [See also Group XXXII] A bedstead convertible into an ambulance or litter has castors 4 at one end and a pair of relatively large wheels 9, mounted on a pivoted lever 12, which can be depressed to hold the feet of the bed clear of the floor. Rotatable rubber buffers 22 are provided at the forward end of the bed frame.
