409,756. Valve circuits for wireless reception. KRAMOLIN, L. L. DE, 52, Babelsbergerstrasse, Wilmersdorf, Berlin. Oct. 5, 1932, No. 2883/34. Convention date, Oct. 6, 1931. Divided on 409,737. [Class 40) v).] In a superheterodyne receiver, the incoming signals are applied to a grid M controlling one electron path adjusted to operate without rectification and in series with a second electron path controlled by a grid 0 to which the local oscillations are applied. The grid O is coupled to the anode A over a condenser R, to generate oscillations at a frequency determined by the tuned circuit LC and the voltage on grid 0 is so high that ,oscillations of the form shown in Fig. 2 are produced, interrupting the incoming signals to produce the intermediate frequency across inductance Z. By operating the first electron path without rectification, interference due to two carrier frequencies beating at the intermediate frequency is eliminated. Specifications 172,350, 301,498, 312,698, 313,414, [all in Class 40 (v)], are referred to. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, the oscillations may be generated by a separate valve. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
