Abstract

407,809. Cans &c. INTERNATIONAL PATENTS DEVELOPMENT CO., 17, Battery Place, New York, U.S.A. Jan. 27, 1933, No. 2707. Convention date, Nov. 28, 1932. [Class 66.] A closure disc 29, Fig. 2, provided with a spout 32 formed with a pouring lip 33 extending to the edge of the receptacle fits frictionally into a ring 26 surrounding an opening formed in the top 25 of a can &c. The closure disc may, as shown, have two friction surfaces of different diameters, the larger one to fit the opening and the smaller adapted to fit within a plain closure disc 27. Fig. 5 shows the spout opening as closed by a flanged disc 41 forced into position and adapted to be punctured when it is desired to use the contents.
