406,850. Incubating bacteria. MISLOWITZER, E., 29, Innsbruckerstrasse, Berlin. Jan. 2, 1933, No. 99. Convention date, Jan. 2, 1932. [Class 5 (ii).] A container for despatching "abstriche" or the like, by means of which bacterial cultures can be developed during transport, comprises a vessel a' containing the "abstrich" d<1> and a nourishing medium f<1>, such container being mounted within a heatproducing container g<1> which, in turn, is enclosed in an evacuated jacket i<1>. The heat-producing container g<1> is charged with a substance, such as lauric acid or a mixture of lauric and capric acids, which solidifies at the required temperature, viz. 38‹ C. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises a modification, Fig. 1 (Cancelled), in which the evacuated jacket is omitted. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
