Abstract

347,863. Number plates. DAVIS, I. J., 528, Allen Street, Syracuse, New York, U.S.A. April 16, 1930, No. 12025. [Class 3 (ii).] A vehicle number-plate holder comprises an integral frame A, having a rectangular opening B, to the rear of which parallel bars 5, 6 are connected by parallel walls 9, 10. The bars 5, 6 have longitudinal slots 15 .. 18 adapted to take attachment bolts for securing the holder to suitable members on differently dimensioned vehicles. Ribbed cross members 7, 8 may connect the bars 5, 6 together, and ornamental bolts 11 retain the plate at the display opening B. The holder may be provided with an integral upwardly extending oval frame in which an emblem or insignia may be displayed, or integral upright arms having perforations may be formed on the holder for bolting the emblem thereto.
