344,575. Fastenings. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London, WITHERS, B., Brendon, Fisher Avenue, and ADAMS, W. S., 117, Claremont Road, both in Rugby. Dec. 30, 1929, No. 39753. [Class 44.] A transformer having a divided laminated core the two halves of which are provided with extensions 3 adapted to interleave and form a good magnetic joint when the core is closed is provided with a reversible jack 11 on one part adapted to co-operate with one or other side of an abutment 12 on the other part for overcoming friction between the interleaving parts of the core in opening and closing.
