Abstract

Resistance grids.-A grid resistance comprises a sheet of metal cut into strips 5 parallel to the longitudinal edge of the sheet to form a continuous conductor, the sheet being then folded transversely upon itself and mounted on supporting bars 21 with insulating spacers 28 and clamping means 24, 25 in a suitable frame 6. The strips may, as shown in Fig. 1, be varied in width in different parts of the same sheet.
