Abstract

314,533. Vaulserre, F. de. June 30, 1928, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Chromatropes.-An indicating, advertising, &c. apparatus, which appears to change colour with change of position of the observer, comprises a transparent screen 2, Fig. 1, formed of a number of parallel vertical differently coloured strips and illuminated from the rear, as by an inclined mirror 3. The screen is viewed through a number of contiguous prisms 1 and appears to' be of uniform colour from any one point. Fig. 3 shows a modification in which coloured strips 7 are seen by reflection from mirrors 5, 6 inclined to one another and to the horizontal. A frame &c. bearing wording &c. in blank or solid outline may be arranged in front of the device.
